On a broader scale, what government's foreign policy isn't in bed with hypocrisy? It gets more self evident in proportion to the level of world power a government welds, IMO.

I do not see it as pointless. I was simply offering a bioptic approach (some of us need bifocals...lol).

I will observe this happening to me.... my attention is steered into a narrow band.

Maybe not the best example, but: There is this green leaf on a green lawn and my attention is focused on the green leaf. Pretty soon all that exists/ important is the green leaf when in reality, everything is green.
