I get the concept, and thank you for the insight.. :) A bit of Social Darwanism. A group of higher beings, descended upon a group of lower beings, and manipulated their behavior to violence towards one another,, and they blindly repeated it and taught it to others, who blindly followed!!! Yes, that definitely translates.. Of course, it the monkeys were never manipulated in the first place, their would never have been a pattern of violence,, just monkeys,, eating bananas. (I am right-brained,, I just can't help but picture scientists with clipboards,, setting up and watching experiments where monkeys beat each other up. :()

I would hope that there would be at least 99 monkeys, elsewhere,, living in peace... :)

I like (sadistic humor) the part at the end where none of the substituted monkeys would NOT know the real reason behind their behavior.

Sometimes a orange (origin) is just a banana. :P
