Every decade or so a new face comes onto the political theatre and Nigal Farage
certainly plays the part of 'Disgrutled Middle England' I have not made my
mind up yet. He is from the 'Tory , Conservative' old school and is why Fox
news likes him. (which is a worry..LOL ) But diversity is needed in politics

The The muppets in charge of the main parties, if/until UKIPS break through
are just Rothchild economic clones. We will see what happens if there is 'Dirt'
in his past it will be used to blackmail him to become 'under there control'...
He is an ex public school boy so was 'conditioned early'...LOL

I am also undecided about UKIP and nigel farage. They support GMO crops and frakking and I don't. However I do support a referendum on Europe.
I am also undecided upon the recent rhetoric on radical Islam and especially withdrawing the passports of jihadists.
Didn't George Orwell go to fight in Spain? should we have withdrawn his passport?

Would Orwell be considered a terrorist?

George Orwell as International Brigader in Spain, with the POUM militia at the
Aragón front. Orwell is the tallest among the standing figures
“If George Orwell and Laurie Lee were to return from the Spanish civil war today,
they would be arrested under section five of the Terrorism Act 2006,” George
Monbiot wrote in The Guardian yesterday,
If convicted of fighting abroad with a “political, ideological, religious or racial
motive” – a charge they would find hard to contest – they would face a
maximum sentence of life in prison. That they were fighting to defend an
elected government against a fascist rebellion would have no bearing on the
case. They would go down as terrorists. … People fighting against forces that
run a system of industrialised torture and murder and are systematically
destroying entire communities could be banged up for life for their pains.
Is this any fairer than imprisoning Orwell would have been?

Nigal was right about this , then again everyone in the country knows
this as well, As a postman since 2007 ,I can confirm the increase in
immigration and the multiple coming and goings in rented houses.
In a relatively small market town in rural somerset .
The government both Labour and Lib/Con knew this would happen
and encouraged it,to slow down the economy by flooding the job
market to cool down and reduce wage bills amomg other things....

‘Benefits claimants will undergo interviews to assess whether
they have a psychological resistance to work, the employment
minister reveals today.
Unemployed people will be subject to attitude profiling to judge
whether they are “determined”, “bewildered” or “despondent”
about taking a job, under plans prepared by Esther McVey.
Those that are less mentally prepared for life at work will be
subject to more intensive coaching at the job centre, while
those who are optimistic – such as graduates or those who
have recently been made redundant – while be placed on
less rigorous regimes.’

‘Riot squads were sent into Calais last night after UK-bound migrants turned the French port into a ‘war zone’.
Anarchy broke out when 250 men burst into the town’s docks and tried to board vessels sailing for Dover.
One gang of marauders broke through gates and climbed over fences in a desperate bid to reach a ferry.’

Murdoch meets Nigel Farage in private meeting at NewsCorp offices in New York
Ukip leader ushered to media mogul's office while taping interviews

Nigel Farage met Rupert Murdoch in his New York offices after filming
interviews for some of the mogul's news channels, it has been revealed.
The Ukip leader was summoned to Murdoch's NewsCorp Manhattan office
after taping a segment for Fox News's Sean Hannity and Neil Cavuto shows.
During an advertisement break, Cavuto turned to Farage and said:
'Sir, the boss wants to see you... the big boss,' it was reported.

Nigel Farage, pictured in Edinburgh today, had a 'private conversation' with
Rupert Murdoch after being called up to the media mogul's Manhattan office
Mr Murdoch's publications have been known to heavily endorse political
parties, with the front page of The Sun condemning candidates such as
Labour's Neil Kinnock in the 1992 General Election with a headline of:
'If Kinnock wins today will the last person to leave Britain please turn
out the lights.'
Breitbart London reports the leader was whisked upstairs for 'lengthy'
talks following the brief exchange.
The meeting comes after Douglas Carswell announced his leaving the
Tories for UKIP, triggering a by-election in Clacton where he may
become the first elected Ukip MP.
A Ukip spokesman confirmed the encounter, describing it as a
'private conversation' between the two,'The Independent reports.
In 2013 the outspoken party leader praised Mr Murdoch - whose
many publications were heavily scrutinised in the wake of the
phone hacking scandal - as a 'remarkable bloke' after being
invited to his home for dinner.
Rupert Murdoch's publications have famously endorsed and
condemned political parties in the past
Earlier this week pro-union campaigners begged Farage to stay
away from Scotland ahead of the impending referendum.
Plans for a rally on September 12 - six days before the historic
vote - were met frostily by some who fear his presence in Glasgow
will deter Labour enthusiasts from voting against Scottish independence.

Last night, Murdo Fraser, a Tory member of the Scottish Parliament,
said: ‘I think it would be best if Nigel Farage stayed as far away
from Scotland as possible.
'The arguments for staying in the UK are strong. The majority
of Scots are on our side and we don’t need a distraction at this point.’
But Ukip’s Scottish chairman, Arthur Thackeray, dismissed calls
for Mr Farage to stay away as ‘absolute, complete and utter nonsense’.
He said: ‘We are a mainstream party and Nigel as our leader
is coming up in support of a No vote.’

France must control borders - Howard
Calais migrants in rights protest
The UK is to offer France the security fences used at the Nato summit in Newport to help
tackle migrants trying to get into the country illegally from Calais, the immigration minister says.
Writing in the Sunday Telegraph, James Brokenshire said the 9ft-high steel barricade
could "replace and enlarge... inadequate fencing" at the French port.
It was the latest in a line of measures the UK had taken, he said.
http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/77422000/jpg/_77422609_kf3knpp7.jpg
An increasing numbers of migrants have flocked to Calais in recent months.
Mr Brokenshire said the current fencing at the port was "too easy for illegal immigrants to scale".
Earlier this week scores of illegal migrants were able to get past security and tried to run up
the main ramp of a ferry bound for the UK. But they were foiled when the crew raised the
ramp and turned a fire hose on them.
Mr Brokenshire said: "We would like to establish secure parking areas where legitimate
hauliers and travellers can wait without being hassled by would-be illegal immigrants."
Migrants wait by side of road near Calais ferry port on 5 September 2014 An increasing
number of migrants have arrived in Calais in recent months
He added the UK was "no soft touch" when it comes to illegal immigration and highlighted
the government's efforts to tackle the issue.
"Our economy is growing and we have a proud history of tolerance and acceptance to
those who genuinely need our protection," he writes.
"But many people still try to come to this country neither for protection nor to make a
legitimate contribution to our economy. It is in everyone's best interests if these illegal
migrants can be prevented from attempting to come to Britain in the first place."
'No illusion'
The Mayor of Calais, Natacha Bouchart, has threatened to blockade the port unless the
UK helps to control the problem, claiming the town has been "taken hostage" by more
than 1,000 migrants who want to cross the channel.
Mr Brokenshire said it was France's responsibility to maintain security of their port
"but we want to do what we can to help".
He said: "We have increased staffing levels in the port and extended security patrols.
Our security checking for freight includes up-to-the-minute heartbeat scanners and
wave sensor technology to detect bodies in lorries, alongside the good old fashioned
sniffer dogs.
"But there is more we can do. That is why we offered the Port of Calais £3m three
months ago to help improve security further and to provide more booths to keep the
travelling public moving. We now need to see the improvements we have committed
to fund implemented swiftly."
Mr Brokenshire said immigrants "should be under no illusion" about arriving in the UK illegally.
He said the Immigration Act 2014 prevents them receiving benefits, housing, bank
accounts and driving licences and European countries were working to break up
criminal gangs involved in people trafficking.
