This post isn't a CURRENT EVENT but it reflects what a current event is to the general populous to a large extent.

Its not that the information/ news doesn't get out but it like only a few drop gets out of the faucet when it should be rushing out. If water symbolizes the information on what is actually going on in the world and a field of seedling plants symbolize the people of the world. Then it is no wonder that growth/ change needed has not occurred in proportion to what is really happening in the world today.

It seems almost comical that Russia Today talks about the "mainstream media" as if they are not part of it. RT is more mainstream than almost all mainstream media. I have no love for the mainstream media but I have a particular distaste for a mainstream media outlet that disguises itself as alternative media.

RT broadcast through 30 satellite and 500 cable operators to 550 million people in over 100 countries. RT has over 2 million viewers in the United Kingdom and has rivaled Al Jazeera as the most popular English-speaking foreign channel in Britain. RT America is available to 85 million people in the United States. It is the second most-watched foreign news channel in the U.S. after BBC News. It is the number one foreign station in five U.S. urban areas.

RT makes other media look honest
This is a Russian Government Network with a Russian Government agenda. They make CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX, NYTIMES, LATIMES etc etc look downright honest. Yes, they are a slick network that has patterned themselves after CNN, even hiring some of their employees. They are huge mainstream media made to look independent of the government but nothing could be further from the truth.

Lets be clear about this – this is a news station owned (and undoubtedly influenced) by a government that has murdered journalists and political opponents, acts in a framework of institutionalized corruption, rigged elections, and committed war crimes against the Chechen people. This government is no friend of freedom and democracy, yet you would think that it is – from the trendy, glitzy, and anti-establishment Russia Today. Former KGB officer Konstantin Preobrazhensky described the channel as “a part of the Russian industry of misinformation and manipulation” with an objective to create a smokescreen around Russian interests.

Think about this for a moment, if there were a network called America Today, where all the programming content is set by the government and the entire network were funded by the government and they attempted to disguise themselves as a small alternative network................well you get it!

Often when an entity (in this case RT) reveals something external to itself, it inadvertently reveals something about itself as well.

It's the revealing that should be of interest, not the one doing the revealing.

It's like when the opposition fires a weapon from an unknown position. It may do this in an attempt to attack the opposition but it also does this at its own peril having now revealed itself.

(The engine of a train and its caboose have a lot more in common then what is readily apparent). Just because RT omitted itself in the segment doesn't mean it is not IN the segment by proxy. In fact, it only strengthened the proposition that "The News Will Be What Ever We Want It To Be". See how RT CONTROLLED that news piece by conveniently omitting themselves from within it? RT made that segment what it wanted it to be. Case in point.

Yeah you know it's alot like cutting down trees to feed livestock just so we can kill them :(. or when there is a sanctuary in the woods; dispite this forest wanting to live it has to come down. they want to build a bridge over the river. the bogs are terrible :\

This Earth needs regrowing and the knowing that when the time is here we will humidify the Planet & bring Gaia back to life.
yeah you do make the news
how fin radical
:)

new newwwws oha!

Edit

I'm sorry this was a little out of context, I was referring to tree huggers and people who cut down those trees despite protest. That's never news. We should most definitely be making our own news and
also making reference to some of the studies on how terrible animal agriculture eaffects the environment, animals and humans
