Today the "Here and Now...What's Happening?" thread (AKA THe Village) is celebrating it's third anniversary.

I'm aware that to some Avalonians the light tone which permeates the Here and Now thread may appear somewhat superficial, in the context of the serious events happening all around us.
So I just want to re-emphasize that there is a reality and design behind this...and not only that there is life after the often shocking awakening, but furthermore, that as a united, happy-camper group we can make more of a difference in this world than as revolutionaries who want to overthrow the old system.

The effect of someone who has transformed themselves to a higher level of consciousness cannot be overestimated.
And in a group where these transformative processes are shared, as well as the joys and blows which life bombards us all with, the shared joys are magnified and the shared sufferings are diminished.

So today is a joyful day, where we can celebrate our Avalonian companionship. I want everyone to feel free to come and join in the fun, and even wear their favorite and most outrageous clothes. Wear a mask if you don't want to be recognized...we respect that some people want to protect their anonymity and privacy. Just don't be shy.

Hi Ulli, thank you and congratulations!!!!!! I usually seem to pop in at odd times and don't know what the current topics of conversation mean so I quietly exit. That said, it is this specific thread that really shows off the human side of the forum. It's kind of like the glue that holds the puzzle pieces to the frame!!!!
