Some of you remember people saying turn of the TV!!!

But many are replacing it with there computer like youtube or other distractions
I see it also on this forum here where people looking at every conspiracy or physical
event outside of them like ET stuff And technologies ets

None of this is going fix the problem ,because everything is a creations of the people and most of them are
living a Hu-man experience and they are manifesting this reality.

You can't change them only you can change your self and you should be focusing on how to live

Look you already know what they are doing ,but focusing on getting proof or details is not going change anything , but helping the PTB

There are many threads that I don't read on Avalon, I usually only read the ones that I am drawn to. Most of the negative news and conspiracy ones I am not drawn to...this is not why I am here but it's different for some others who make difference in different ways...I am mainly drawn to the spiritual, relationship, loving, and fun ones...but at times I do think it's good to and read up a little on some news or conspiracy or truth things...

What if the negativity itself keeps (blocks) us from going on... I look inside for guidance, its all there... I don't really need the science either, but for me its way better than all the conspiracy and negativity, because science at least tends to be 'neutral'...

I agree, I am talking about 'observation, logic and experiment (science)', not 'paranoia'. You push the car because the battery may be flat or the spark plugs not working too well. If you can't even push it, no one in their right mind is going to blame the gasoline.

So Im really glad and grateful for that, because for me it's hardly ever about either-or, but a matter of BOTH. All co-existence is possible once people understand that the universe is big enough for all of us.

Yes I agree, there are scientist who don't abide by the strict code of conducting valid science, but that doesn't mean 'science' as a principle is invalid, as many are preaching here. It only means the work of the practitioners is invalid, not the entirety of science.

I get your analogue... I just wonder if the fear and negativity that come a long with the conspiracies justify the inherent incomplete, possibly false, truths. Because you can't really tell the truth if you can't observe, feel and experiment with the subject at hand.

Sure a lot of people are willing to take in the fear that comes with certain half-truths, but one should't really underestimate the power of fear in the psyche...

Yes I agree with you Ulli, but for me it feels tiresome if I see a thread that is hinting towards some alternate truth, with negative implications, but doesn't follow through to solid evidence (based on the scrutiny of scientific evidence). It induces fear because your not quite sure (paranoia).

I'm struggling to stay open, and remain unaffected at times... but i'm watching, and taking it in anyway. So I feel a bit like the dog in the image below, which is also suggested by the OP.

Everyone is impressionable, some more than others. As sensitivity levels rise it is a good idea to make wise choices, as to what impressions one wants to subject oneself to. The choice is ours, but due to our dual nature the force of habit can be so great that we can't even press the button on the TV clicker. Even though the higher self screams 'turn it off!!'

This is all very personal for sure. I click on a thread the way I would pick a chocolate. If it looks good on the outside, I take a bite. Either I like it or I don't. If I don't, I'm outta there. There's something for everyone.

I don't watch TV. For myself, there is a distinct difference between TV and this forum, for example. Yes, both can be unhealthy distractions. I go by my gut feeling on this -- the forum can rile me up, but all in all, it's been a positive influence. TV simply infuriates me. Here, I can 'control' the channels and decide what I want to be 'programmed' with. At the very least I think I have some room to maneuver... unless it's all some big illusion of choice. :tongue1:

Note: I don't eat chocolates anymore. That was just for illustrative purposes. :biggrin1:

As I was reading this post, ploughing through this thread at 4:30 AM, as has become my habit lately, I heard a loud crash from my kitchen.
So I got out of bed to check....
One of my cats had forcefully removed the barricade we put in front of the cat door,
which was to stop intruders coming in at nights and raiding the trash can, cat dishes....
And suddenly behind me a second crash, with the last of my three cats jumping off a counter
to head for the now open door and while doing so knocking down a tray full of fresh eggs, a dozen eggs, we had just bought yesterday from the village school next door...
Every single one broken ...gaaaah!!!!
So here I am being punished for not being more careful of what I am focusing on.

My main focus these last two weeks has been
A) to get a tour of the Village school next door, and see their amazing Eco projects being developed, where the kids are growing medicinal herbs, veggies, decorative plants, even trees, and now have some laying hens. They sell their produce to the community, and the money goes to each group, to reinvest for whatever next project they want to develop.
Brilliant principal, and Im glad she is doing this.
So we are offering our support, by becoming customers.
B) as always, checking Avalon threads. I have become careful not to read the dark stuff,
as I learnt years ago that this gives it energy. Which is why this thread is so important to me.
But as always, I have found that there's a limit.

I have to avoid looking at Ninja cats.
Talk about manifestation!!!!! Geeez ....

P.S. wow...this is getting still freakier...the next post after being rudely interrupted by my egg-smashing jumping cat was about

As I was reading this post, ploughing through this thread at 4:30 AM, as has become my habit lately, I heard a loud crash from my kitchen.
So I got out of bed to check....
One of my cats had forcefully removed the barricade we put in front of the cat door,
which was to stop intruders coming in at nights and raiding the trash can, cat dishes....
And suddenly behind me a second crash, with the last of my three cats jumping off a counter
to head for the now open door and while doing so knocking down a tray full of fresh eggs, a dozen eggs, we had just bought yesterday from the village school next door...
Every single one broken ...gaaaah!!!!
So here I am being punished for not being more careful of what I am focusing on.

My main focus these last two weeks has been
A) to get a tour of the Village school next door, and see their amazing Eco projects being developed, where the kids are growing medicinal herbs, veggies, decorative plants, even trees, and now have some laying hens. They sell their produce to the community, and the money goes to each group, to reinvest for whatever next project they want to develop.
Brilliant principal, and Im glad she is doing this.
So we are offering our support, by becoming customers.
B) as always, checking Avalon threads. I have become careful not to read the dark stuff,
as I learnt years ago that this gives it energy. Which is why this thread is so important to me.
But as always, I have found that there's a limit.

I have to avoid looking at Ninja cats.
Talk about manifestation!!!!! Geeez ....

P.S. wow...this is getting still freakier...the next post after being rudely interrupted by my egg-smashing jumping cat was about
JUMPING CATS!!!!!!!

Near immediate manifestation of thought is quite the thing to be hold! How interesting and messy (egg loss and clean up etc.) at the same time.

It doesn't happen very often but I have come to value those moments of near immediate (or close thereafter) manifests of thought. Maybe it's a potent reminder that I am not just a passive participant in my own existence?

For a thread, this thread really has the feel of a spring to it even before Pris so THOUGHTFULLY (thanks Pris) brought in the Pogo sticks and invisible cousins!

Lets continue to 'go ahead and jump'.....celebrating LIFE but putting the eggs in a safe place too. Need to save those for the breakfast omelets etc. in the morning after the all night PARTY! :)
