Did a search for this but found nothing.

These people are pushing a one-way ticket to Mars with no plans to return, and with private financing are evidently ahead of schedule in their preparations for a 2023 human landing. Since they first hung up a help wanted sign for astronauts, they have received over 700,000 applicants for a job that includes 7 years of training.

In January 2014, German former astronaut Ulrich Walter strongly criticised the project for ethical reasons. Speaking with Berlin's Tagesspiegel, he estimated the probability of reaching Mars alive at only thirty percent, and that of surviving there more than three months at less than twenty percent. He said, "They make their money with that [TV] show. They don't care what happens to those people in space... If my tax money were used for such a mission, I would organise a protest."

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin in an interview said that he wants to see humans on Mars by 2035, but he does not think the nonprofit organization Mars One will be the first to achieve it.

Of course, Laura Eisenhower declined the same offer in 2007.

Hi everyone,

connecting the dots, this project it actually does make sense, but in a different perspective. Here´s a possible explanation of an otherwise absurd mission.

Background:

- there are currently human bases on mars, according to the statements of Sgt. Mjr. Robert Dean, Mr. Andrew Basiago, and David Wilcock.
- the connection between these bases and planet earth is through jump gates using alien technology
- the powers which created this are no longer receiving support from their home planets (see the The Project Avalon interview with Simon Parkes at 41 minutes )

Given this situation, what would you expect if the jump gate breaks down, and you can´t get a spare part from some distant planet?

You have to organize a supply shipment to mars, for those people to not die of starvation.

How do you send a massive amount of supplies on mars without anybody noticing? Not easy, huh?

Unless you make that part of something everybody knows, and accepts. Just like this Mars One mission, so impossible, which really suggests a second, hidden purpose. :spy: Hidden, that is, until Avalonians take a look.

So, send your food cargo :plane: Then, after the supplies are delivered, just find an excuse, and cancel the rest of the mission (lost contact with the rover, discovered an error in the calculations, etc.).

light and love!

(lost contact with the rover, discovered an error in the calculations, etc.).
and or that sudden unexpected, in-explainable sudden take-down by some mysterious-object again, like the Russian-Mars--Probe disappearance!

I would so go for it , travel to Mars and remain there ??? Hell yes ... If it was just me , and wasn't married , no grandkids , I would be the first to go , I'll go ahead and be the first to try everything ... Spending my final years on Mars , hopefully they could solve all the problems with traveling and living on Mars , then I die and re-incarnate there forever ...

Is it possible that the atmosphere of Mars is somewhat different than we are being taught?

My interest was stimulated by this project too but for a different reason. I think that a serious attempt will show
that 'physical' interplanetary travel is not possible. Space is not that empty and trying to fly faster and faster will
only endanger craft and crew (even by the smallest micro-meteorites).

So unfortunately it will end with fatal casualties but it will undeniably prove that NASA and authorities are the
biggest liars in this universe. So, which private space enterprise that announced operation did successfully start
in the recent years?
