Thank you so much for posting this. I was born in Scotland and I know how important it is for Scotland to become independent. I feel that the voting was rigged but I also feel that we should not be dependant upon such a voting system to recognise our need for independence.

My grandfather emigrated to Canada from Scotland after serving in WWI. He was in the Black Watch, an ambulance driver. I'm third generation Canadian, but I still consider myself to be Scottish, a kind of strange expat if you will. The reality is even within the boundaries of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, even within the borders and the distances of time here in Canada, I know why I am distinct as a Scot.

I am so glad that the Scotland Independence vote was rigged! I was saddened thinking that Scotts feared independence. I was concerned that we would have to replace the movie "Brave Heart" with another named "Chicken Heart". But now we will really see what the Scotts are made of.
