Identification of dark orbs/spheres emitting red lights

Does anyone here recognise dark translusent orbs/spheres that emit red lights? What are these? Drones? Have filmed these before, see video link and just had one fly over neighbours house metres away and into large area of the bush/trees. Only see them at night. The red light goes off when they come down low leaving a dark shape, I guess the light is turned off down low to help avoid being seen as up high people would just assume it was a helicopter or plane. These are not chinese lanterns and are intelligently controlled. Have seen them in groups of 20 plus back in 2012 and one by itself tonight around 8pm - any suggestions?

against dark sky up close it is a dark orb/sphere that emits a bright red light... size of a large football but have seen them larger and also a white glowing sphere just like a soccer ball floating a cpl of metres over head. What are these spheres?

Sometimes helicopter circling sometime after or they just do it around this area.

Thoughts from those here appreciated.
