Hi all
I watched the Ed Dames video the other night and something sparked in my head, the idea he gave about crop circles marking safe zones for when bad things happen made me begin plotting the reports on a map.
Now, in my area wiltshire seems to be the most prominent spot for circles and I have come up with an area surrounded by them.
The locations are: 51°23`13.1N 1°52`57.8W
: SU08277 65494
Well, this is what I have come up with so far and the area is ringed with 5 circles that seem to be quite equally spaced apart.
Just my thoughts and thought I would share them..
Rip this to pieces if you find errors.

I have transfered the map as a pdf file if anyone wants it, send me email details.
I am not claiming this to be a safe zone but just seems weired that it does follow a pattern.

If I was looking for a safe zone in the UK, I'd head for mid-Wales, the Scottish Borders, or Central Scotland.
Somewhere with a good water supply, fairly remote yet sheltered, and where I could grow stuff and establish a strong exchange network with farmers, crofters and other locals who know how to fix things, improvise, and make things go right.
Of course, others may have strong, valid personal reasons (or intuitions) for being elsewhere, but purely logically the above would be my clear choices.
Look within for your own answers to these possibly important questions: don't listen to anyone else - and that includes both Ed Dames and myself. :)

Thanks for your response Bill, it is appreciated.
Dont missunderstand me, I was purely researching things that I hear. And I believe we all should research things we read and hear as one day it just may show a nice little gem. I do agree that wales seems a good location, but I feel more drawn to the highlands, of which I have a map ready ( from intuition ).

I would only suggest that things like landscape and climate have been known to change abruptly.
Say, 12k years ago, Britain was part if continent, as sea levels were often 100m lower than nowdays.
There were orchards where now sands of Sahara roam. There are traces of SEA port on Thiuanaco site.
Point is, stuff changes.
All data points that it tend to make quite abrupt changes. Far more abrupt that our mainstream science lead us to believe.
Do not be like generals, that always plan to win last war, not current one. Extending current trends do not cut it.

Very true Luke.
But having some sort of information to hand is better then none!!
Only 2 places that I feel a draw to is actually stone henge and scotland.
I was told at a seminar held local to me by David Kingston that the french pirinees were the safest place , if you could get to it....

I'm not sure of the "safe zones" in the UK, but the best place to be in the event of social unrest/natural disasters would be locations with a strong growing season and abundant fresh water; preferably located far from large population clusters, highways, and rail tracks, etc... And you'd certainly want to be on friendly terms with your neighbors!
Over here in the America's, I was told that small, established communities among the Appalachian Mountains (one of my favorite places to visit!) were a "best bet," as well as several locations in Washington, Oregon, and western Idaho.

I live in the southwest of Norway, Europe.
Here it is countryside and 200 meter above sea,
with plenty of water and fresh air.
It feel safe to me, no indication of anything else.
I think the social unrest and collapse of societys
infrastructure is a bigger risk than natural disaster.
Do not believe the predictions of supertsunamies
around the world, if it happens I think it will be
smaller local ones, and a generale rise in sealevel
will be a so slow process, it will give time to react.
In general it seems to me that a lot of the doom
and gloom prophecies are highly exaggerated,
and poorly founded. Some of them are likely to
be memories from the past mistaken for visions
of the future, and some are likely to be nonsense.
I have done some small preparations to have food
and light and heating for some months in any case,
but do norm worry too wuch. It is a bigger chance
that my life will be ruined by worry, than anything else.

This might sound a bit selfish.Be careful who you tell about your safe zone.
If it all does kick off, your safe zone might get a bit crowded.

Hi Ammit,
I'm not too sure there is a safe zone in the UK. Not in the Highlands nor the Lowlands. That is because the government has gone too far. There will only be a safe zone in the UK in the aftermath of things to come, when push comes to shove and all that. In the days of WWII it was safer to be in the rural areas, however, nowdays the rural areas are taken over by the rich and I suspect that these people will be in the most danger, as it's the rich that seem to be the brunt of everyones anger. Of course the inner cities will be the first to go up as dense populations always will.
If I lived in the UK I would be tempted to move over to the rural areas of a small east european country, where life is already tough. In my experience, these poorer areas always make the outsider welcome, if the outsider is humble and polite. They will also teach you the things you need to know to survive, after all, they have nothing to lose, they're already suffering.
Also try South America. Here in Brazil, for example is a good option, or Argentina, even Chile.
But don't forget, we're thinking worst case scenário here. I'm sure that even if the going gets tough, it's still going to be easier than most of the rest of the world is today.
Best regards,
Steve
