Maybe I'm seeing this wrong but as I had a quick look at my local newspaper online today, I was startled by a picture of school children at a local school here in Lexington, Ky.
Anyone else see anything peculiar? Am I just seeing things? I don't believe that's a hair style.

Maybe I'm  or been hanging out at PA too much? ;)

If it is really what it looks like I'm wondering if we have other examples of modern people with this?

Here's the link to the actual page:

Don't be silly mpennery, there's no such thing as coneheads, let alone living examples, that's crazy talk! <kidding!>

Funny thing is I was focused on the girl in front thinking maybe a kind of partial. Then I saw the real one behind her. Awesome find.

I saw a guy the other day, kind of middle eastern looking and from head-on, he looked normal but sideways, holy cow! I couldn't stop thinking wth! it was hard to describe but if you saw this on TV you'd say they did something with this guy's head to make it look alien, it was like someone grabbed his skull from the back and pulled it back but left his front to make it look normal... kinda like that little girl in the front but the flow from front to back was more pronounced...

cute pic btw, it once again shows how we ARE naturally nurturing, naturally caring, full of love... but not for long... if we keep allowing government run puppet institutions to set criteria we vehemently disagree with and wouldn't even apply to slaves...

I've been interested in this ever since reading Drunvalo Melchizedek's Flower of Life Book. In his book Drunvalo has photos of tibetan monks in silhouette and many of them have naturally elongated skulls. I believe this relates to expansion and awakening of parts of the brain that are undeveloped in the population as a whole. Perhaps these kids represent awakening abilities in mankind.

You could chalk it up to some sort of plot or government conspiracy... not to mention alien plots or reptilian breeding programs. However, there are many elongated skulls which have been unearthed in archeological digs throughout the world. Egypt and South America come to mind immediately.

Perhaps we really are coming out of the Calle Yuga and into a new epoch where enlightenment will again be the norm rather than the rare exception. I think is is interesting and not at all scary.

It also could be the result of forceps delivery, sometimes it slightly difform the skull.

It also could be the result of forceps delivery, sometimes it slightly difform the skull.

One of my friends went through a particularly rough birth with her first daughter. The baby had a big head and she was a petite Asian lady and the baby got stuck for a long time. They used forceps which failed and a vacuum which also failed. She ended up pushing it out on her own after they told her there was no more drugs for the pain ;)

She was born with an elongated head, this was due to the length of time being stuck in a tight place - not necessarily the forceps or the vacuum. In jest we called her the "alien" baby - especially since she didn't grow hardly any hair until she was three - but the skull did eventually go back to pretty much normal by the time she was 10 - and not noticeable after she was in puberty. She's 21 now and has a perfectly normal (but slightly large overall) head.

I would say in most of these types of cases, the skull will go back to normal before they get most of their growing done.

Interesting find mpennery, that one girl really does appear to have one of those elongated skulls ...
