Now people can finally see, with their own minds and then cognate that digits on bodies are not the only shape that can utilize tools.

This is a critical and fundamental milestone for the human mind, regarding potentials in 'other' possibilities of intelligent critters. The design of the 'manipulator' of the given species can also play big into mental design and orientation, as we have seen in the research of/on human design parameters.

What does this say about the potentials within 'blob mind'? :p

Thats a bit unfair for some ;) well those that tend to think in the box that is "their reality"

IE our planet, the things in it, and us, all played a part in us having fingers and thumbs today.


Say 250034631412 gazillion lightyears away, there's another planet with life. but the planet, gravity, atmosphere, EVERYTHING about the planet was completely different. Would they even need fingers and thumbs?


I guess what im trying to get at here is... in you're mind... try and picture a brand new color... one that noone's ever seen before, its unique only to you!

you cant.. realy... can you? You're limited to what you know! You're enviroment, ie the world around you, ie the planet, has set... a "field of vision" of which is applicable to you, and what is not.

whatever is outside that field of vision.... is allways going to be hard for someone to sit down and think of something that's complately different or outside you're general field of view. Because it's stuff you're brain never thinks about? New playing field, you dont konw the rules, hell, you dont even know what the playing field looks like!
