Randy Quaid: Conspiracy to kill him and other Hollywood stars

The Randy Quaid story got even stranger on Thursday, with the actor telling reporters outside the Vancouver immigration office that there’s a conspiracy to kill him and other Hollywood stars to gain control of their millions.

Quaid and his wife Evi, who’s a Canadian citizen by way of her father, were arrested last week on California warrants for vandalism and released from custody Wednesday.

On Thursday, the actor claimed that for the last 20 years he and Evi have been the victims of criminal activities by people trying to embezzle him, kill his career and even murder him to gain control of his royalties.

He became emotional as he told reporters that in the last five years eight actors he's known have been murdered, including Heath Ledger, Chris Penn and David Carradine.

“I believe these actors were whacked and I believe many others, such as Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Mel Gibson are being played to get at their money,” Quaid said.

He said about $40 million of his earnings have been stolen from him.

The Quaids are due in court in Santa Barbara next week, and their lawyer said the couple will attend if necessary.

At the end of his statement Thursday, Quaid made a pitch to producers in Canada. “I would like to announce my availability and desire to (work) immediately — legally of course.”

Drama Queen. What does one expect from Hollywood? This belongs in the who cares category. It's a tabloid type distraction.

Quaid never seemed this fanciful, or offbeat, as a person, to me.
Plays weird guys, but level-headed himself.

Drama Queen. What does one expect from Hollywood?

Not even sure what that means. Do you mean he is delusional or merely over reacting to people er.. trying to murder him and take his money? lol. I live in Hollywood. I guess I should expect an extortion plot against me.

This belongs in the who cares category.

And yet it warrants your response.

It's a tabloid type distraction.

From..? And by whom?

I would not ignore this sort of statement from him. These sorts of statements are quite rare. He's not so foolish to fail to understand what this sort of move has on his 'hollywood' career. After all, he's been at it most of his life.

I think he is truly being a whistle blower, there was a big case that involved racketeering a few years back... involving racketeering and espionage with actors and performers in LA. Garry Shandling went to court on it. looks like pretty dirt laundry to me ~ http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/content_display/business/law/e3ia51ae029511c6ba90f698d6df0303644?pn=2

I have no doubt that there is a conspiracy on killing off certain celebs.
When you consider especially the ones who seem to die from cancer, I mean cancer types like Hodgkins is curable, yet there seems to many who die from it and you know these guys have the cash to get therapy for it.
So ya I know that these certain celebs are marked for disposal.

>> Corey Haim - check out, his lungs were full of fluid, very swineflu-like, past drug use works as a pretty good cover... maybe I am being paranoid.

This was in our papers for a few days when it all started. I saw him a few days ago while I was walking around downtown, and Ive had a few other friends say they've seen him around since too.

I think there is a lot to this issue. If you think about the time and money we all have and what we're able to learn about (re: truths), then think about what someone with lots more free money would be able to learn should they want to? And I agree, Randy doesn't seem to be one who would throw away or put his career at such risk for anything less then something as serious as this.
