In case of High Blood Pressure, read this article:

Of course, the biggest theory (or conspiracy) on the main cause of high blood pressure is too much salt in the diet. I really love this one, simply because there hasn’t been enough solid evidence to actually prove it!

In fact, here’s the results of a 20 year study that may help to uncover the real cause of high blood pressure…

In the first part of the study, 5000 people with high blood pressure were taken off their medication and put on a salt restricted diet. Every single one of them died! In the second part of the study, another 5000 people were taken off their medication, and instead, given calcium supplements at double the recommended daily allowance. After six weeks the experiment was stopped as 85% of these people were cured of their high blood pressure!

Calcium is the Best Natural Remedy for High Blood Pressure There is!

For calcium to work effectively you need magnesium and plenty of vitamin D (coral calcium supplements are the best along with receiving lots of sunshine).

There are various theories as to why and how calcium acts as a natural remedy for high blood pressure. The main theory is that calcium prevents the body’s pH level from falling into an acidic state, and instead, keeps it alkaline (see the “natural cancer cures” section for more information on this).

And why is this significant?

Because high blood pressure cannot occur when the body is alkaline!

Other High Blood Pressure Cures and Home Remedies You Need to be Using...

Baking Soda: This natural remedy for high blood pressure is so simple and cheap it almost seems ridiculous. But don’t be fooled, baking soda is one of the quickest and easiest ways to naturally reduce hypertension.

And the reason for this is simple… baking soda is the ultimate pH booster!

Nothing will spike your body’s pH level (and make it highly alkaline) as fast as baking soda. Mix up 1/8th of a teaspoon of aluminium free baking soda in a full glass of water with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (see next cure on potassium) and take this two to three times a day. And be sure to test your pH level regularly and keep it above 7.25. If possible, also check your blood pressure before and after so you can measure the difference.

[SIZE=3]Remember this folks; as a home remedy for high blood pressure there are no negatives associated with taking baking soda every day (as long as you don’t have more than one teaspoon a day and you combine it with apple cider vinegar and plenty of water). It is considered safe for everyone to use so be sure to get some into you as quickly as you can!

Wow, thank you for this information. I needed this one, being sort of an 'alkaline fan' LOL
Never too old to learn :)

I will have to watch it a few times, to really take all this information in, also because of the rapid talking of the two gentlemen ;-)

It's up to people what they try, but I personally will not take baking soda...I'm sure that it has helped some people as they have said that it has and there is some science behind it...it does concern me a little bit how baking soda can interfere with the acid/alkaline balance in the body and this may be more important when the person has certain health conditions...I have seen that video that you posted, Skyhaven, and I am glad that I watched it...I won't use something unless I feel that it is right (for me) to use it...

The Budwig diet of cottage cheese and flax seed oil also reduces acidity and has remarkable cancer curing effects. I not sure if simple baking soda would be more or less effective but it would be interesting to know. Just a shame the governments don't fund research for the things like this that actually need researching.

I had high blood pressure for a while then some divine intervention happened on a plane out west as I sat next to a professional body builder. He told me to get with this program to get my blood pressure down 1) NO FAST FOOD 2) NO SODA POP 3) NO DEEP FRIED FOODS 4) NO ALCOHOL DRINKS WITH DARK LIQUOR . IN 3 MONTHS I WENT BACK TO THE DOC AND SHE ASKED ME WHAT I DID TO GET MY BLOOD PRESSURE PERFECTLY NORMAL - This was what I did , she couldn't believe it.

I have great appreciation for that vid.

So ...

That leaves us wondering what ... exactly ... is it that saved so many from the 1918 Spanish Flu who used baking soda ...

There is so much documentation that is hardly in doubt ... yes???

thud ...

do those that suggest otherwise have any evidence against what happened with baking soda in the 1918 flu situation???

I personally, have not studied the Spanish Flu outbreak so, I have no comment to the contrary.
