Multiple shooting in Ottawa Live

A series of shootings have taken place in and around Canada's parliament, leaving
one soldier wounded.

It is unclear how many gunmen there are but one shooter is believed dead.

An assailant fired at the National War Memorial and then ran into parliament
nearby, continuing the attack. More shots were fired at a shopping mall.

The incident came hours after Canada raised its terror threat level following a fatal
hit-and-run attack on two soldiers on Monday.

The latest incident began when soldiers guarding the memorial came under fire on
Wednesday morning.

"Shots fired at War Memorial at 9:52am today; one person injured," Ottawa Police
tweeted.

Canadian broadcaster CBC and several MPs report that one gunman has been killed
but that is unconfirmed.

Witnesses described a scene of chaos in the parliament.

One gunmen inside the parliament has reportedly been shot dead but there are no
reports yet of anyone else inside the building being hurt.

Earlier, Ottawa Police told the BBC there could be more than one shooter. The
nearby University of Ottawa has been placed on lockdown, as well as all local police
buildings and the US Embassy.

10 years ago, anyone could walk into the Parliament buildings of Canada.

Obviously they are looking to increase the size of the gap, and increase it's inherent alienation, where the politicians are entirely separate and disconnected from the public. The problem with Canadian politicians, is that they are generally connected to the people and a Icelandic situation has a chance, albeit a small one...of actually happening there, if things go too far, too fast.

Thus the need to ween Canadian FEDERAL politics off of it's last vestiges of capacity to identify with the public.

I live 7 minutes from the downtown core in Ottawa. Impossible to go downtown at this point after what has happened . Maybe I am just too synical but this is beginning to feel like a false flag . Last week after the first shooting of two Canadian military officers in Richaleau Quebec, the Harper Government was supporting the request of CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) concerns over security in Canada required more laws to help prevent these types of occurances, regarding so called "terrorist"/ "radicalized" individuals from attacking Canadian soldiers at random. Lest than a week later the events of today transpire, was all of this a false flag build up to create support for more draconian laws and take away more freedoms from Canadians. This sounds and feels so much like the multitude of American false flags that we have all read about and researched, in the USA. Ok so here's the scoop from a Canuck. Snooki can probably contribute as well.

We have been VERY fortunate in Canada to be able to have a lot of free and uninterrupted access to our institutions and we've been very proud that we can walk into our house of commons and listen to the proceedings. Where I live, if I want to hear the local provincial legislature proceedings, I walk to the front desk, usually an elderly commissionaire takes me up to the public gallery, and I can sit an listen. Could sit and listen.

I don't think kids will be playing tag football or extreme sports around the legislature anymore. I also don't think that certain freedoms we had will be there in the morning. Who to blame? Ourselves.

There was a question period at Parliament today. Half an hour they talk on shooting, when a question raised on "Canadian companies role" on Ebola issue, they cut the transmission and turned the TV spokesperson commenting on shooters religious.

This is heavily misinformation bombardment by all Canadian main media CTV, CBC, Global TV.

I can understand, the management side(editors) has their order, but I do not understand how technician level get their order and not questioned or resist the flow.

All the more reason to start learning the difference between what it means to be a "Person" under the presumed jurisdiction of the corporate statutory Government and exercising your inalienable rights... I haven't looked into the nuance, but the principle is always the same... They are trying to reduce everyone to the status of a military officer of a corporation (military social order)

Using a legal interpretation based on your actions, which are recorded in the form of signatures on documents held as legally binding contracts, which they are holding in trust for you. (and you didn't even get a copy for yourself! :o ) These "actions" allow them to create a presumption of jurisdiction, that you are the acting surety for the corporation property they also created, (the BC) and if you know how to "fix" those "actions", they will take it right to the court, which they will try to drag you into, and create a determination once again, based on your actions...

you see the theme here is that it is always based "on your actions" (they need your consent) You are taxed, fined, jailed and your property taken, all based on "your actions" Whether YOU agree with this or not... Don't you think at the very least you should AT LEAST KNOW HOW THEY ARE DOING THIS????

i.e. sitting on your butt, waiting for Santa Claus (or Jesus) isn't going to help you... We are going to have to get a lot smarter a lot faster if we want to stay ahead of this coming intrusion into our standard of living and quality of life... to me this hints at economic hard times coming in the near future... the government will need to give the police more powers so they can extort more money to pad themselves during the hard economic times ahead... (since fewer and fewer people are committing crimes, they will have to introduce new statutory codes and regulations, so what was "legal" last year is now a "chargeable offence today" and so it goes...

i.e. the answer isn't just "keeping your nose clean" and walking on eggshells, and praying it will just happen to the other guy... the answer is understanding the "system" and taking back our power which can ultimately never be taken away... (EXCEPT BY OUR OWN IGNORANCE...)

They have finally given up looking for the second shooter in Ottawa and they now say that Michael Zehaf-Bibeau acted alone, a “lone gunman” if you will, yet they know not his particular motives for this attack of his.

No motive? Never heard that one before, did ya?

More information is seeping out on Mr. Zehaf-Bibeau and frankly, it’s beyond strange, bordering on infinitely odd or highly suspect depending on how you look (or choose not too) at things.

Let’s start off with his name.

Early in the story, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau was reportedly born Michael Joseph Hall in 1982 and that he had only been “using” the name Zehaf-Bibeau since his “recent” conversion to Islam.


“The gunman, identified as 32-year-old Michael Joseph Hall, was a convert to Islam and had been using the name Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, sources told NBC News.” MSNBC Oct. 22

Well now, that is pretty interesting considering the fact that his mother’s name is Susan Bibeau and his father’s name is Bulgasem Zehaf; hence Zehaf-Bibeau. They were his natural parents and divorced in 1999 when Michael was 17 or so. So where does the name Michael Joseph Hall come from? How does the last name of ‘Hall’ work into that equation?

You’ll notice the name “Hall” has been dropped from the storyline. I wonder if the mistaken name was used to keep people from looking more closely at his family ties. Did he officially change his name after the divorce? I don’t know, but it is very odd.
