I really feel that people need to seriously study global warming and the effects/results. WE are witnessing a merging of seasons, where planting seasons are shorter and cooler sunshine on the crops in areas where weather was more stable. We have massive cloud cover preventing the veggies from fully maturing or producing good yield. Hence, "one ye cannot tell one season from another." Glacial ice ages form when winters last too long, and heat waves when summers are earlier melting ice, and creating more precipitational days of rain, storms tornadoes, and crop damage. Droughts in areas that once had enough rainfall in areas of high population, that now have to compete with industry putting water on warehouse shelves and charging for it, leaving less and less for the human populations to live on. Poisoning the waters with toxic metals that go back into the air and drop to the ground. Isn't it just smarter to do the energy thingy right for our children, rather than risk a few political deniars who have a bunker/shelter to go to?

The lake effect in the winter in Buffalo causes mind blowing winter storms where a 3 hr. drive from Cleveland to Buffalo has a good chance of turning into a 6 hr one when having to travel the back roads to get to or back from a popular ski resort near that area due to the main inter-belts being closed down due to weather conditions.

I'm just south of Buffalo. Not being on the shoreline, we didn't get that much. Friends have been sending pictures of snow up to 7 feet!
Not only is it a big mess to deal with now but the temps are going to be in the 40-50 range on Sunday and that's going to be a lot of runoff!!!

Financing both sides of an argument is nothing new: the Venetians were doing it back in the 12th century (See Joseph Farrell, The Financial Vipers of Venice). The advantage is that it just becomes a pointless argument that people get stuck in. Global warming is not science because it predicts chaotic weather patterns. Hence if it’s hot, it’s global warming, but if it’s unduly cold, that too is due to global warming. When you get past all that, you see that anthropogenic/manmade weather changes are very real in generally unsuspected, including deliberate ways. It is a modern version of original sin: we are all guilty. Not true: certainly we are all responsible but the general public is increasingly aware of and demanding the things like cheap, non-polluting energy that will take us forward, as well, of course, as a stop to such things as HAARP and chemtrails.
