Creation of Money

This is a topic that has been discussed ad infinitum here on PA, however, I haven't yet seen any reference to what was an important event in the UK last week. I support an organisation called Positive Money http://www.positivemoney.org/ that aims to educate the public on how money is created. They posted on YouTube the complete Money Creation debate at the House of Commons last week and here are the highlights. Sadly you will see very few MP's even bothered to turn up and it didn't go far enough. Nonetheless it is a start and interesting listening.

Love the way they talk about sovereign money creation as an alternative............ IT ALREADY EXISTS ..... ROFL another words they want to go back to the original system and stop the money creation by BANKS now that would be a novel idea considering who is pulling the strings AKA Bank of England a PRIVATE company owned by PRIVATE individuals
