Today is my birthday in this body, and I find I am still here, in this dimension :o To me, it is proof of failure to move upwards, I suppose. . . .I am listening to Jonas Kaufmann singing Wagner´s Wesendonck Lieder, which are usually sung by a female ) NB please pardon typos, this keyboard will not respond and is set for spanish right now . . .

This music is sublime, but I truly do not want to be born here in this dimension again, yet am afraid that I may well be, because of music. . . . .

Music is my life, my reason for living.. . .yet it is still a material expression of the inexpressible. I am referring to REAL music, not the auditory treacle that is piped out of radios or produced for so'called entertainment.

How do we avoid reincarnating here, does anyone have an answer, not just a speculative theory. Apologies, there is no question mark available.

Does anyone else feel depressed on their birthday? Ñ:madgrin:

Yes me too, birthdays are artificial to me... chaining me to a digit , while in essence we are all infinite, undivided and unbounded... So I will wish you a happy infinity instead :o

Happy birthday Kirolak:
You can be sure the schuman resonance is rising and, for sure, you have to see the end of this movie with us, since you allready came until here.
Makes me happy that you are here. Thanks and please enjoy

I round up my age to the next number four to six months before the birthday. By the time it hits it’s just another day that I can’t wait to begin.

The number no longer matches how I feel. In the many respects, I’m younger now than I was twenty...thirty years ago.

There was a year in Seattle where I was feeling the same way -- that my life was purposeless, that our comings and goings have no meaning.

Well, after having that thought and walking down the stairs toward my old bedroom, another thought came to me. It was a strange one!

It went something like this: "Did you know that July 4th is not America's Birthday"?

So I went into my room, picked up a really old American History book, and flipped through. Eventually I ended up on a page that said something similar to:

During the American Revolution, the legal separation of the Thirteen Colonies from Great Britain occurred on July 2, 1776, when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a resolution of independence that had been proposed in June by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia declaring the United States independent from Great Britain.[4][5] After voting for independence, Congress turned its attention to the Declaration of Independence, a statement explaining this decision, which had been prepared by a Committee of Five, with Thomas Jefferson as its principal author. Congress debated and revised the wording of the Declaration, finally approving it on July 4. A day earlier, John Adams had written to his wife Abigail:

The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.[6]

It warmed my heart to see that at least ONE of the founding fathers recognized the actual date of America's birthday :)

The others got it wrong and settled on July 4th.

And if this mortal coil fails before my work is done, something tells me that like Arnold's TERMINATOR,

"I'll be back"

and so shall you   :alien:

edit: until your work is done (your Magnum Opus)

Kirolak,

Feliz Cumpleanos ! Estas son las mananitas que cantaba el rey David.....hoy por ser dia de tu santo de las cantamos a ti...! I forget the rest of the song but it's the birthday song we sing in Mexico... Music is beyond form and in my opinion the best evidence of humanity's beauty in this dimension....when the sentiment behind the music is powerful it can penetrate the core of the soul....

Hay mucha belleza en este mundo no te enfoques en lo feo pero entiendio tu perspectiva.....

Saludos,
Gloria

Have a blessed birthday kirolak, I think the difference between loving life and being attached to life is the answer to your question. Attachments to the physical illusions on the journey of the soul is what binds you to recycling life after life. This is different from choosing to reincarnate because you wish to make a difference and you wish to experience. If you love life and everyone you meet in life in the here and now, you shall surely love what comes after life on earth.

So cheer up Sister and have a blessed birthday. :cheer2:

Much love.

Wagner is heavy going, try Poulenc or Eric Satie for lighter fair.

I never cared for my birthday, so I don't celebrate it anymore. And though I don't celebrate the following, I observe the date of my metaphysical rebirth, which I deliberately and meticulously commemorated on my 33 1/3 birthday. Where once I celebrated May 23rd, I now observe Sept 23rd. I've only observed it once so far, but doing so was like a reaffirmation of all the sentiment, realization, understanding, etc. that went into the initial decision. I highly recommend it,... though utilizing other significant numbers (unless one happens to be <34 y/o).

@Kirolak

Hey, hon, I go through the same thing every yr. with my birthday in June; as Johnny Cash (ever noticed how his staged sur-name deals with money?) sang: "one day older and deeper in debt"-

let's hope things will change soonist for the better-

please be well-

Larry :-)

Happy Birthday my friend. Birthdays to me are special but another day in our lives. Learn, love and live in the moment because everyday is an experience

We are not bodies who have souls, we are souls who are inhabiting these bodies. The physical age doesn't define you, but the the nature of your spirit does. For me birthdays have lost their meaning in their traditional sense, but if you feel like cherishing life then go ahead. So all that being said, happy birthday! :p

"The astronomer Galileo Galilei observed in 1623 that the entire universe "is written in the language of mathematics", and indeed it is remarkable the extent to which science and society are governed by mathematical ideas. It is perhaps even more surprising that music, with all its passion and emotion, is also based upon mathematical relationships. Such musical notions as octaves, chords, scales, and keys can all be demystified and understood logically using simple mathematics." (http://www.spaceandmotion.com/mathematical-physics/mathematics-music-waves-vibrating-space.htm)

"May not music be described as the mathematics of the sense, mathematics as music of the reason? The musician feels mathematics, the mathematician thinks music: music the dream, mathematics the working life." ~ James Joseph Sylvester

"As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones.”

Happy Birthday , I know what you mean , so many of us are of Lyrian origin , having that longing feeling you don't belong here , and can't understand why humans on earth do the things they do ... it's so obvious , live in peace , take care of nature , try balance in all things ... it is said to incarnate on another world , your material body must die on that world ... Hence the reason space travel and knowledge about space is so important , we must leave this rock , to truly go home ... everyone gazes up at the night sky and has that feeling , there's more out there , here seems so small , out there seems the possibilities are endless ...
