Just happened to spot a headline on an day old newspaper local...(Lamar Alexander is from Blount county and has an office here)
http://www.thedailytimes.com/news/state_region/no-child-left-behind-gets-renewed-focus/article_34bd45f0-a1b7-5c6a-bdf7-c9a6d4bf18ac.html
I noted that he was stumping now to fix the Bush Era 'No child left behind' program...But a single line stood out .
'his goal....to get a bill signed by president Obama'
Not..'get a bill through the house, the Senate, get a majority, get a vote'...nothing
the goal was simply 'get a bill signed by president Obama'
Has it came that far that now if you want something passed, then got to the 'King of Executive Orders'...and just get you one signed.
Tell me please , did I miss something here

"If he [Obama] is a dictator he is not a very good one. He has used his presidential veto less often than any president since James Garfield in 1880 (who served for just 200 days before he was assassinated). He has signed fewer executive orders than any two-term president since Andrew Jackson, who left office in 1837."
Gary Younge, writing in the Guardian 17 November 2014. If what he says is correct then all this dictator stuff is just sour grapes isn't it. Of course Gary Young is black ....

David Icke refers to the phenomenon as the 'totalitarian tiptoe',... a phenomenon of progressive and steadily/gradually increasing severity whereby the target (the masses) are progressively conditioned and acclimated to the adversity.
It is the classic 'boiling the frog through a successive increase in temperature' rather than tossing it into an already boiling pot.
IMO, it seems to be working.

The only real answer to tyranny is to have vibrant communities with a high degree of self sufficiency.
In such communities individuals can thrive and make the leap which is the ultimate destiny for humanity.
And that leap is the realization of real personal power.
Then all fear of external tyranny dissolves.
Once the individual has recovered their personal power they can say "Be!" and it is.
It starts with honest self observation, and an ability to contemplate the death of the physical body.
That death is inevitable. This leads to facing one's deepest fears, and moving past them.
Then the cosmic, eternal self can be realized. Which contains all the elements.
As long as one can use that realization to keep an eye on one's inner tyrant then the outer tyrants don't really matter. The more people become empowered in this way the more the PTB will be left to their own devices, and soon there will be no one left to enslave.
To me who has lived through all these stages it's a no-brainer.
