This is a subject that was recently referred to my be a sibling-in-law, who is actively participating in the protests. Much if this information is available at Infowars.com, and I would direct interested readers to continue their review of information there.
Apparently, recently a Spokane valley sheriff made an uncharacteristic and/or unwise assertion to a reporter during an interview that a recent surplus of MRAP (mine-resistant something something) would be beneficial in confronting the threat of "Constitutionalists and gun owners".
This statement has resulted in a large-scale public outcry against the professed ideology of this Sheriff's deputy in particular, as well as the long-term indoctrination of Sheriff departments by the Southern Poverty Law Center which - while opinions of the group may vary - can conclusively be said to be operating with a particular bias that might not necessarily be aligned with true and/or accountable conveyance.
I would hate to add fuel to the flames by misquotes and misinterpretations, so I would instead allow readers/viewers to see the deputy's own words.

I will likely be updating this post/thread at intervals throughout the day/weekend, but in the meantime I wanted to bring this event to light if any (like myself) were blissfully nescient of this 'goings-on'. Until next!
