Emirates president and CEO Sir Tim Clark made world headlines in October when he revealed his doubts about the fate of the missing plane, which disappeared early in the morning of March 8 this year.

In an interview with German newspaper Der Spiegel, Sir Tim voiced his scepticism about the complete lack of wreckage from the incident, and the electronic satellite “handshakes” which positioned the plane in the southern Indian Ocean.

Now a second senior airline industry source has voiced his doubts about the fate of the plane, with the even wilder claim that the Boeing 777 may have been shot down by US military personnel who were fearing a September 11-style attack on the US Navy base on Diego Garcia.

The former boss of Proteus Airlines, Marc Dugain, put forward his theory that the Malaysia Airlines plane crashed near the remote Indian Ocean island in a recent edition of Paris Match.

Dugain speculated that the plane’s computers may have been subject to a remote hacking, or an on-board fire, which prompted a diversion from its flight path.

Diego Garcia is a British territory but has been used as a significant US military base and refuelling stop since the 1970s. It is currently home to 1700 military personnel and 1500 civilian contractors.

Many conspiracy theories about the island have been aired since the disappearance of MH370, but the US government has repeatedly denied that the plane came anywhere near the remote territory, which is 3600km from Africa’s east coast and 4700km northwest of Australia.

Dugain said the downing of the plane may have come about for a range of different reasons, including the possibility that it may have been shot out of the sky by the US military, who were fearing a September 11-style attack on the base.

He pointed to the testimony of residents of the Maldives, who reported seeing an airliner travelling towards Diego Garcia on March 8, but whose claims were largely dismissed.

Dugain said a fisherman on Kudahuvadhoo island told him a “huge plane ... with red and blue stripes on a white background” had flown overhead at a low altitude.

The former airline boss claimed he had also been shown pictures of a strange object that had washed up on a beach of neighbouring Baraah island.

According to Dugain, two aviation experts and a military officer believed the object was an empty Boeing fire extinguisher, but the mystery object was subsequently seized by the Maldives military.

In the Paris Match story, Dugain also appeared to dismiss the “handshake technology” evidence supplied by the UK company Inmarsat, saying that such organisations were “very close to intelligence agencies”.

The wild claims come as grieving family members of MH370 passengers accused the Chinese government of failing to provide them with regular updates on the search for the aircraft, which was carrying 239 people at the time that it disappeared.

About 30 people, many of them elderly, took part in a recent protest in Beijing in which they demanded to speak to government officials.

“My son is alive and I want to know what the government is doing to find him,” said Liu Dianyun, the mother of one of the passengers.

Australia’s Joint Agency Coordination Centre recently announced that it had scoured 20 per cent of the search area where MH370 is thought to have gone down.

On Sunday investigators said they could finish scouring the priority zone search area by May if there were no delays with vessels, equipment or weather.

Search efforts will continue during the festive period.

The Fugro Equator is scheduled to depart for Fremantle on Wednesday after finishing its current survey, and the GO Phoenix continues its underwater search.

More than 200,000 sq km has been surveyed and 11,000 sqkm of the sea floor has been searched.

‘Former airline boss and famous French author Marc Dugain argued Thursday that there
had been a cover-up in the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, speculating
that the passenger jet could have been hacked and then shot down by the US.

Dugain, a well-respected French author, argues that the Boeing 777 carrying 239 people
crashed near Diego Garcia, a British island in the middle of the Indian Ocean used as a
strategic air force and intelligence base by the US military, in the six-page article in Paris Match.

The US has always officially denied that flight MH370 came anywhere near Diego Garcia.’

John Lear said, in one of his recent interviews, that MH 370 landed on Diego Garcia. It was repainted and subsequently shot down over Ukraine. If this is true, the fate of the MH 370 passengers is rather obvious. My experience is that 80% of Lear's revelations are factual. Pretty good considering the material he covers.

if this plane had been shot down by any faction of a particular nation both Malaysia/China (and probably a few other nations) would have long been screaming this from the rooftops (and rightly so) accusing the US or whoever/whatever faction for being responsible;

but yet no one particular nation has yet to point an accusing finger at another nation- WHY?-

no-one has yet found plane wreckage anywhere of this plane; even if a plane crashes into the ocean there is still wreckage but yet none has been found ('officially')-

so if no wreckage of this plane has yet been found (they've had enough time) why can't people yet get it through their thick skulls that this plane just simply... disappeared;

there is no earthy explanation (yet) for this phenomena; just like the unexplainable disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle...

Having read all of the various theories about this, my own conclusion is that the most likely cause of this was one of the following:

A) Onboard the plane was one or many passangers trying to escape the cabal with above top secret information. In response, the plane was remotely hijacked and brought to Diego Garcia. Because all of this is illegal the whole thing was then covered up. I find it very likely that the flight ended up at or near Diego Garcia.
Probability: 65%

B) Onboard the plane was two Iranian guys travelling with stolen passports, seeking asylum, wanted to go to Germany so they hijacked the plane. The flight was flown to Diego Garcia for fueling, the hijackers did not know they came to a military base, as it approached there it was either safely landed or shot down due to a suspected terrorist threat. Probability: 35%, cover-up story

The truth is in what is missing/what is kept hidden from all of us, and what is missing here is that the owners of Diego Garcia have so far not released any useful information, details are missing, another fact is that the plane is missing, the combination is very interesting. Of course they have military radar/satellite tracking on all activities around Diego Garcia, but they are silent. Why?! Because of the communication/information traces, I find it's more likely than not that the plane was not shot down. Another import thing about this is the phone call communication history to and from all passengers on board. Since the authorities made the conclusion that the plane crashed in the Indian Ocean, did that also correlate to all phone communication?! Where's the evidence of that?!

Now, what we might be witnessing here is a power similar to that one engaged in the 911 attacks, we are talking a very dark force, possibly with ET origin. So keep your eyes open.

When the plane disappeared , Ion was asked on Bob Dobbs show what happened
to the flight and its passengers and the reply was that it went thru a portal which
is happening more frequently now to parallel earths. Most of the time they come
back but some stay. Ion says the Authorities know about this phenomenon but
cannot disclose it . I think they landed in a parallel Hanoi......I don't know where
it is now ? This is obviously a outlandish claim , make of it what you will but is
definitely different and Ion says it as seriously and matter of fact as any other
subject they discuss .......

able to call the cellphones of their loved ones or find them on a Chinese
instant messenger service called QQ that indicated that their phones
were still somehow online.

A migrant worker in the room said that several other workers from his
company were on the plane, including his brother-in-law. Among them,
the QQ accounts of three still showed that they were online, he said
Sunday afternoon.

Adding to the mystery, other relatives in the room said that when they
dialed some passengers’ numbers, they seemed to get ringing tones on
the other side even though the calls were not picked up.

The phantom calls triggered a new level of desperation and anger for
some. They tried repeatedly Sunday and Monday to ask airline and police
officials about the ringing calls and QQ accounts. However unlikely it was,
many thought the phones might still be on, and that if authorities just
tracked them down, their relatives might be found. But they were
largely ignored.

According to Singapore’s Strait Times, a Malaysia Airlines official, Hugh
Dunleavy, told families that the company had tried calling mobile phones
of crew members as well and that they had also rang. The company turned

A former airline boss and writer claims the U.S. downed Malaysia Airlines flight
MH370 because the military feared it had been taken over by hackers and was
about to be used in a 9/11-style attack.

Marc Dugain, the former chief executive of now-defunct Proteus Airlines, said
the jumbo jet was shot down near a U.S. military base on the remote island of
Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean after it was hacked.

He told Paris Match that islanders in the Maldives near Diego Garcia told him
they saw the missing aircraft flying low.

Dugain spoke of a fisherman on a small island who spoke of a 'huge plane' in
Malaysie Airline's colours on March 8.

The Senegal-born Frenchman, who is now a successful novelist, also told a
radio station he was warned not to investigate MH370 by an intelligence
source, who spoke of 'risks' and counselled him to 'let time do its work'.



Last week grieving family members of Chinese passengers from a missing
Malaysia Airlines flight protested outside the foreign ministry in Beijing
Friday accusing the government of failing to provide them with regular

They demanded to speak to government officials in a bid to get more
Information on the search for flight MH370. Police manhandled and
pushed protesters that attempted to enter the gate and warned
passersby to leave the area immediately.

'My son is alive and I want to know what the government is doing to
find him,' said Liu Dianyun, the mother of one of the passengers.

Some drove for two hours to attend the demonstration, despite
acknowledging that their efforts were unlikely to produce results.

Chinese passengers account for about two-thirds of the 239 people
who were aboard the Boeing 777, which vanished on March 8 en
route from Kuala Lumpur to China's capital.

Dozens of their relatives were reportedly beaten and arrested earlier this year.

Australia has been spearheading the hunt for the plane, which is
believed to have crashed in the southern Indian Ocean off
western Australia.

"They've" also done everything possible to distract and deter every one and all searching completely from the Maldives and Diego Garcia area from day one.....and pointed everyone basically in the opposite direction to search, basically saying the witnesses in the Maldives that claim they saw this jet were hallucinating.

There may be something to this "shootdown" claim near Diego Garcia......
