These clouds could be seen over most of southern Norway to day. Just normal clouds, or something to wonder about?
Never posted with pictures before, hope you can see it.

These are polar stratospheric clouds (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_stratospheric_cloud) that shimmers like mother of pearl hence their other name "mother of pearl clouds". They form at a high altitude often in cold weather just like the weather is today in southern Norway in higher altitudes. They are quite rare and very beautiful so it is a privilege to see them, you are lucky!

Today I saw, for the first time, clouds that had some of the colors of the rainbow (near the ocean in southern Norway). An amazing sight!
