Remember 12/21/2012 when nothing happened? Well this years 12/21 I noticed something HUGE. People talking about the REAL REASON we celebrate Christmas. The same reason our ancestors celebrated Christmas. The re-birth (ascension) of the Sun from its lowest point on the Northern horizon.

"... and the SUN OF GOD died on the cross (the southern cross constellation) and on the third day arose from the dead and ascended into heaven. On 12/25 the SUN rises 1 degree on the horizon and ascends for 6 months..." *

Huge? Yes I say HUGE! IMO this single fact, properly presented has the ability to turn traditional religious dogma(s) UPSIDE DOWN in a short period of time.

...and The Awakening continues to gain speed.

Am I anti-Christian? Not IMO but picking a dogma is like a cat choosing what box it wants to hide in. Fact is its still a box. Stick your head in a box and you can't see very much.

In conclusion I love Avalon and your opinions are constructive for me sooo what do you think?

Is it time for the congregations to have a sit-down with their pastors?

My guess is some of us have abandoned religion for our own personal beliefs. About the stupidity of conventional religion -all demand obedience subservience & money- a slave. If I follow religion -I will never find out who I am until I break free of doctrines and hypocrites who watch the Creators children die -instead, walk in gold trimmed vestments. I love true Christianity so I will try to be Christian -the hard part for me has always been turning the other cheek, forgiveness comes easier after I remove myself from a bad place.

I do know that we are each of us where we need to be.

Yes I, too, am noticing that people seem to be doing some internal searching. Hopefully they are gaining some new perspectives.

Religion is not evolving, what’s happening is the lies we tell ourselves are beginning crumbled. Truth stands, becomes apparent…and it is harder for the inventors and maintainers of religions to keep up the false reality we find ourselves.

Truth = love = light = information

It does seem to be emerging from the darkness more rapidly recently, imo….it’s an exciting to be incarnated in this form, in this place, in this time.

Merry Christmas everyone!

every religion is a doctrine, if it would evovlve the doctrine would change and thus become a new religion, so a religion can not evolve. But can give birth to new interpretations/religions.
ex.
Judaism=>christianuty}=>catholicism => reformed, etc,
" "}=>Orthodox
" "}=>Islam

Understood. So it can be said that the people in their awakenings, are evolving beyond the religions that were instituted upon us. Religions don't evolve but people do.

When a pastor studies theology in college, graduates and becomes a pastor, then preaches everything he's been told to believe without question, then how is he NOT a religious fascist??? Furthermore how are the congregations not fascist as well?

I think it'd be wiser to perceive them as brainwashed and fear driven.

The thing to be careful about is intent, like specifically: projecting motives on to others.

One man's terrorist is another's freedom fighter...

That's funny, I just posted about religion at the end of my post on Apple Tree's from this morning, and then came here and read this. Interesting vibe today.

Hi Donk,

I believe that the pastors are teaching what they were taught, and that is what they know. Personally, my search was on my own. I looked into different religions, and found imho that there is no one that was perfect for my search.. I finally realized that our spiritual growth is a personal thing, not a group thing. So, I had to do something start the process. I am sharing my path, noting that there are many paths. If you like, try it.

I started meditation and prayer, and working with crystals, and the energy of the stones. I always prayed before meditation, and then, I would meditate to music.
The music was something that I could listen to, without words to distract, but I would 'feel the love energy' through the notes when I heard the music. So, I would meditate, and and concentrate on "feeling the Love Energy" in the music. This is a beautiful meditation, as it enabled me to pull in the Love Energy from the music down into my crown chakra, down into my heart, and send it out into the world. It would send me into Nirvana, or the Sea of Love, where one connects with the
Ebb and Flow of the universe. The more I practiced this, the faster I went into Nirvana. There is so much so see and encounter in this state. All that is not
important falls away when one is in this state. It is pure Love and Joy. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This is also and especially good meditation for someone who is troubled, as all thoughts can be given to the notes in the music, as one concentrates on "Feeling
the Love Energy" in the music.

This meditation raises your frequency, and you can "Feel it". It is because Love Energy is the highest energy. The more one does this, their personal auric field grows outward. We can raise the frequency of the World, one person at a time. This how I bring in the 'Light'. It is but one method. "Healing" is another.

After I was using this meditation for awhile, I went to a meditation meeting, and, as I was going through the isle to get to a seat, someone took my hand. I turned, and someone said I can feel your aura...they said yes, and the person next to them said the same thing. Then they said they could see it. I asked,
do you normally See and Feel auras? They said no. I pass this on to you, as this meditation really does what I say it does. :)

One can also use crystals in meditation, as I use a pink quartz. I just hold it as I meditate.

Donk, I don't know if talking to pastor will change anything. It depends on how open he/she is to change, and what the church rules allow. One can try. I am not
anti-church either. I think we all have to follow our own instinct. You made some good points about looking 'outside the box'. I am Christian, but I like to look
outside of the box too. :)

Religion is not changing, it sure has a lot of room to though.
