Since the rise of the internet people have changed from mere audiences into
authors and editors. With pieces of technology small enough to fit the whole world
into your pocket, a revolution might be on its way. The net is now mightier than the
sword. This presentation was delivered at the TEDxGroningen conference in the
Netherlands on November 20, 2014.

A brief summery of the history of communication and the duel role it has been
used for over the centuries from the sole domain of the elite ruling classes
scribes and monks who produced the beautiful illuminated manucripts , one
possible origin of the term ' Illuminati ' As thru the power of knowledge contained
within the pages , the few could govern the many. Later it was given to other
groups the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on
May 1, 1776.

At various times earlier cultures did let some of their citizens read and write but
on relatively small scales as they always needed their subjects or large parts
of the population to be the servile or peasant class. In exchange for basically
a 'Protection Racket'.....

The power of communication evolved to what para-media ecologist Bob Dobbs
calls the 'five Bodies'. 1)Chemical/physical body ,2) Guttenburg book body , 3)
Radio /TV media body , 4)Chip /digital body and 5) Astral / mystery landscape body.
http://figureground.org/interview-with-bob-dobbs/ , and how everyone
has the opportunity to be their his or her own lluminated one' as the old proverb
goes ' knowledge is freedom and ignorance is slavery ' in the modern sense
economic 'serfdom' from cradle to grave....There is obviously more nuances to it.
