Someone used "flashlight analogy" recently :

At the beginning, you have a penlight, small beam, and you see a pillar here and there.

The more you know, the better the light.

But then there is the point when you have a searchlight that is really good, and you still see no end to the structure.

This is the point where most people freak out, and take cover in first safe haven they can find. Cult, religion, military, doesn't matter, as long as you do not have to confront the vastness.

As for above post about (s)DR, just skimming says it is written by somebody with clear agenda within J-Ch belief-control structure.. but that made me check history of Special Drawing Rights (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_drawing_rights) :)
