Dear Avalonians first of all i can not debate and further more discussion just wanna share my thought just now and this is may be can help my heart heal because i am very sad that every see the news about the air asia.....
here it is :
mh370 and air asia have the same clue that elt or ulb or blackbox did not working at all never sent a single signal and never have a mayday..........
but the air asia let the people found ....... this is may be :
making changes the public opinions that mh370 clue have a same result as air asia crash to the ocean........
this is involve very advance high tech.... (et tech ??)
and the victims is 90 % indonesian minority race (chi*n*s and crhis*ans) and what goverment threat to them very special .... (big search and rescue very rare event to minority in this country ...but....)
this is may be a conspiracy.........and is about malaysian airlines.

some of the points I gathered from your post:

~the black boxes on the Malaysian flights malfunctioned, were disabled; the transponders did not work either, there was no distress signal and all the normal procedures/protocols and fail-safes were circumvented

~Airline is trying to get details to the public that to this point have been hush-hush

~it could well be a conspiracy or coordinated effort to destroy a specific airline/gov't/ethnic group, or all of the prior points combined

~the events are so rare yet so close together in this case, that it has caused major damage to the Malaysian public psyche and Asia as a whole.
in fact it's many more times more disturbing than 9/11 was for Americans, to have these planes crash into the ocean under these circumstances, before holidays.

Octobpra you are not alone, there are many across the world that share your sadness deeply, you just need to give yourself time to find some balance again .

On a separate note, I'm not very happy to say that the glass cockpit of a 320 maybe a weak point if energy weapons were involved. And since the flight recorder is wired into the same systems a blast of laser radiation may have a very negative effect on the electronic system, the sad thing is some planes have systems fitted to stop an energy weapon having an effect, but you've guessed it, military only, same old story, well unless your a very well funded private individual.

Could you imagine if everyone contacted there airline and demanded they fit countermeasures or they aren't going to fly again.
