A Rude Awakening And Shocking Reminder

At 5:30 AM this morning I awoke to a knock on my front door:

FIRE!

Only four units down from me, it took only 45 minutes to burn
this Mobile Home almost completely.

They lost just about everything they owned. But thankfully all
of the family got out safely, including their pets!

I apologize for missing this, crosby!

I don't know these people personally, and they have relocated out of this neighborhood. But I was told that they were given another place to live, plus there was an outpouring of donations and offers of help on the day of the fire.

Really warms the heart to see people of all kinds come together in times of need, doesn't it? :)

Still, that kind of loss is really traumatic.
