Get up out of your chair or whatever, walk to the door (put a coat or clothes on if necessary) and go outside.
Breathe. Listen. Don't think.
Stop reading and GO! ^_^

OK. I did. Now what?;)
I manage to get outside and walk for an hour 5 days a week to spend time in beautiful nature by the beautiful pacific ocean. I appreciate living in paradise.

I suppose that's acceptable then,... but still,....
What's going on? Everyone who is reading this - by virtue of their ability to read this (let alone write it!) - is sitting in front of a computer! Go outside! <promptly gets up and goes outside>

I go out most days. This time of year the temperature runs about 15 to 25F/-9 to -3C. The wind chill is a challenge. One big motivator is that I feed the pigeons and sea gulls. They know my car and several times they’ve flown across to greet me before I get out. One little guy waits patiently on the car hood while I put my gloves and hat and grab the bird seed and bread.
Some chaperone me along the way to their dinner spot. Often in the cold weather, the little guys meet me back at the car. So I carry a couple of extra jars of seed.
It’s one of the highlights of my day. I feel them flying in my auric field. It makes me giggle. If Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer, saw me he'd say that I'm not a good pack leader because I'm moon walking the last ten-twenty feet to their spot. If I accomplish nothing else that day, it’s still golden.

Have we forgotten that this can be read from a smart phone while outside?

;)
In an ironic twist, if no one created a post would there be anyone to read it?

In response to the ‘don’t think’...
On those walks when I notice mind chatter, I put focus back to heart.
Sometimes, I notice that the heart region is much bigger than I once thought.
Sometimes I hear it’s silence.
Sometimes I feel it’s smile.
Other times, it’s a strong beat.
And other times it warms me.

I would go outside but was enjoying updating a thread about the discrepancies between the Reuters Air Asia crash story and the CNN one.

I spend eight hours a day outside ... it clears your mind quickly ... and you get to feel the awe of nature , birds , wind , blue well sometimes blue mostly chem trailed skies ... and the best part is the amazing power of the sun rising and setting , feeling the Earth turn slowly as we travel through space on a giant spaceship easing it's way around the spiral arms of the outer rim of our Milkyway ...

It's dark and raining, but..........
As my father used to say, " there's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes ".
Enjoy your day Avalonians, whether inside or out.
Regards.

Ok, I got outside and living in business district of Istanbul, I saw this scene :)
Of course this photo is taken on 5 a.m. or something. Think of here in rush hours, with thousands of cars, busses, people trying to go to their offices. And it snows now..
I immediately got inside with a warm coffee! ;)

Your father speaks wisely! I hope you won't mind if I use that myself!

I'm there already.
But since I don't like to take orders I think I will go back inside now.
Out of spite.
Spiteful woman that I am.

By the way, my avatar picture was taken in the same place. The best of outdoor experience I can imagine. I love beautiful gardens even more that raw wilderness.

I am in direct lust slash envy slash jealousy of your growing season and zone.
That is all. ;)
