I've been having some great dreams lately, long intense and wonderful. I don't think I can really describe these dreams as words don't seem sufficient. Had one last night that woke me up, full of incredible, creative images and ideas. Upon awakening the thought flashed through my mind about "downloading". Someone here recently stated that they felt they had been downloading info during their dream state.

And at first that seemed to describe what was happening to me, as these images and ideas seem to be way beyond what I can imagine and think up. Upon further reflection, I feel that maybe what is happening is that this is me, opening up. Me connecting to source. A greater me. As these ideas/images do reflect my nature as artist, creator, maker/builder, homesteader, (collector of the old, strange, and unusual), music maker, nature lover, and recent hermit. So I really feel it is me connecting to my higher self or potentiality.

In the past I have sometimes had dreams where I was seeing incredible art, that blew me away. Upon awakening I would be thinking about how great the art was, when it would slowly dawn upon me that it was my dream, therefore it was my art, my mind's imaginings. So in a way, I guess this is a continuation of that kind of occurrence, just much greater and farther.

As a member of Project Avalon here, I often read threads that I cain't personally relate to. They are beyond my experience. People receive information that I can't relate to. That doesn't mean it's not real. Maybe it's just not part of my mission/work/assignment this time around. I've often heard it said, "we create our own reality." It's just nice that we have a safe place here to communicate our experiences!

Thank you for sharing Joe. You are certainly not alone in how you feel. Over the past 13 months or so I too have been having some really intense dreams. In fact when I sometimes describe them to people, I don't refer to them as dreams but more like experiences. Its not like I haven't had dreams in the past, just never of this caliber. Its the quality of the dreams/experiences I've had over the past 13 months that have left me wondering. Dreams so vivid and real and with people I know but a lot with people I have never met, that whether right or wrong has made me believe in the whole parallel universe & different time lines concept. Perhaps this may be insignificant to some but things like being able to read vehicle license plates or read something as small as the expiration dates on milk gallons, which I have never ever been able to do I can do frequently. Throw in my first astral projection, mysterious hand prints on my chest, several dreams/experiences which I think might have been an ET abduction (perhaps one of these days I'll share that story on a new thread) and like you, I am left wondering why this has started to happen over the past 13 months. These days I really look forward to sleep, not for the sleep itself but as I explained it to someone else, to wake up in this alternate reality. My two cents would be (which you probably do already) is to simply start logging your dreams and so as long as its not affecting you in a negative way just hang on for the ride Joe. When reading your initial post, I was reminded of a novel by Philip K Dick called "VALIS" where the protagonist was hit with a pink beam of light from the sky and suddenly able to perfectly diagnose a condition with his daughter. I need to start dreaming again.
