When Dr. Stranges met his friend from the planet Venus for the
first time in December, 1957, he was taken to a non-descript room in
the Pentagon where he was greeted by a man who was about six feet
tall, perhaps 185 pounds, brown wavy hair and brown eyes. His

from Earth and the man from Venus that continues to this very day.
Dr. Stranges has met with Valiant Thor many times since 1957 and
has been given some amazing information for his fellow inhabitants
of this planet; that is for those who are willing to listen.

Valiant Thor has told Dr. Stranges that there is life on many
other planets of which people on Earth know nothing.

"There are more solar systems for which man has not even
given God credit," he said. "There are many beings that have never
transgressed the perfect laws of God. Man does not possess the right
to condemn the whole of God's creation because he himself has
broken the perfect laws of God through disobedience."

At one point Dr. Stranges asked Valiant Thor about the
inhospitable conditions on the surface of Venus, noting that scientists
have determined that the surface temperature reaches in excess of
800 degrees Fahrenheit. Valiant Thor said that this was correct, but
that the inhabitants of Venus actually live in the hollow interior of
Venus, coming and going through openings at the North and South
Poles; just as has been described in legends about the hollow Earth.

PS: I don't know how much of that story is info and how much is disinfo (there are inconsistencies and contradictions) but I find those pictures interesting.

It would be interesting to interview Dr Colin Ross on the subject as this field appear to be
tightly interwoven with various projects that he was aware of

I wasn't to successful, so great job locating what you did. Do you by chance have a date on when Dr. Stranges did that video? I'm sure there is an amazing story in the pictures alone. Who are they? "One of the people who it has been my pleasure to meet personally is Harley A. Byrd - a person who knows a lot about Valient Thor (a space man living here on Earth). Here are some of his statements in regard to Val;

"During the winter of 1956-57, the Washington, D.C. area was extremely cold, but it was a good feeling to be working in a high security position in the Pentagon. I lived only a short distance away in Georgetown, the old section of the Nation's Capital. Senator J.F. Kennedy lived on "O" Street just a block away from our house on Prospect.

During a successful tour with the U.S. Naval Ceremonial Honor Guard, we had met with astronauts Glen, Cooper, Waly Sherrar, who were the first wave of successful space travelers. Also we had visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier numerous times. It seemed like every time a visiting dignitary came to Washington, they lay a wreath at the tomb.

We had met the Queen of England several times at the airport, as these were some of the duties I performed as a young officer in the Navy. After carrying the 2-Star flag at the funeral of my late uncle, Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd, I was recommended for a security clearance and was granted a Top Secret Clearance after a lengthy six-month background study (B1 complete 1957). After being transferred to the Chief of Naval Information (CHINFO), I worked in the Security Clearance section before being indoctrinated into the branch office of the Air Force called PROJECT BLUE BOOK. It was a joint service office; that is, two Marines, two Army, two Navy and three Air Force officers.

The work was routine, opening incoming mail, sorting out what was called actual sightings as opposed to many fake UFO photos. We also acted as a Public Information Office (PIO), much like a public relations office. Everypublisher's dream was to get the real low down on the UFO situation, which was suppressed by the group that dictated national policy on the UFO matter.

In mid March, 1957, we received an urgent message from the Alexandria Police Department. The message indicated that two of their on-duty police officers had picked up an alien who had landed some 14 miles south of Pentagon Boulevard, and the occupant was transported to the Pentagon to meet with the Under Secretary of Defense and then shuttled underground to meet with President Eisenhower and Vice President Richard Nixon. The meeting lasted for nearly an hour and then, the alien visitor was put on

VIP status and was shuttled back to the Pentagon where he spent the night in the Army reception office on the first floor near the concourse. This alien's name was Valiant Thor.

Commander James was on duty at the Security Clearance and Review for the branch officer of the Project Blue Book.

He oversaw the meeting through official channels and reported the landing and meeting of the "space emissary", as he was labeled by the Department of Defense, to a governing group of high military officials including Secretary of Defense F.F. Forestall and other scientific men of which there were twelve. They in turn made recommendations to the President and Cabinet members, the CIA, FBI, NSA, and so on. The landing of Valieant Thor was perhaps the first documented landing of a human-type alien by military officials. He contacted an individual in the Pentagon who was an advocate of the UFO alien situation. "Nancy Warren" in turn contacted a minister, who was also a private investigator and theologian, a Dr. FrankE. Stranges, who then met with this individual. Dr. Stranges had been a guest speaker at the National Evangelistic Center for two weeks.

Val Thor landed in Alexandria and met with the President to discuss the world's problems and offer advice and counsel on how to deal with and eliminate them. He indicated to Mr. Eisenhower that the world was in a precarious situation and that if the world continued to proceed on a war footing - it would cause an economic imbalance throughout the world. Val Thor stayed on Earth until March 16, 1960, and then disembarked to his home planet Venus. He indicated that his race of people lived and dwelled underground and that many of the planets throughout the universe sustain life in this same manner. He also mentioned the waves of aliens who would land around the world to help with the Earth's seemingly insurmountable problems. He stated that a group from a distant planetary system would be coming to give aid and data to help the Earth's progress. Val Thor spoke of Christ's presence in the universe and that it was heartwarming to see Christ's advanced teaching continuing.

This visitation at the Pentagon marks perhaps a new era in knowledge, wisdom and understanding on our planet.

When Did Some Space People First Visit Earth.

When Frank Stranges talked to Val Thor he found out the people from Venus came and visited Earth many thousands of years ago. Val explained it like this:

There had been occasions which presented a dilemma to both the "observed" as well as the "observer". These included several pilots being "beamed" into the ship in order to save their lives. This was a far cry from the first incidents of men throwing rocks in an attempt to repel the ship. It was during 1945 that the Earth was surrounded by 100 ships in order to protect the fragile atmosphere which surrounds it. A chain atomic reaction could easily have resulted because of the separation of the elements of the air. Earth could have been destroyed thus creating many problems , a ripple effect so to speak, throughout the universe. After reporting the observations of various voyages, several recommendations were made. The first was that an aerial display be performed in order to provide evidence of the physical existence of life, as it is known here, on other planets in the solar system. This happened during Truman's time.

Newspaper reported the occurrence complete with details of "the chase". What they didn't report was that the UFO's were not visible below the planes, which had been sent up...they were only visible to those on the ground. The second recommendation was for physical contact with world leaders, beginning with the United States.



The First Meeting

March 16, 1957, in Alexandria, Virginia, one of the finest leaders of the planet Venus, operating under the direction of the Central Control and who had been chosen to make the contact as well as direct the project, landed his craft and was met by two police officers, weapons drawn. A thought transference quickly convinced them that he meant no harm and he was ushered into the back seat of their patrol car. After crossing over into Washington, D.C., they were met by the secretary of Defense along with six of his staff members. Soon police from every conceivable district and agency had joined in, all trying to claim their right to escort him to President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Through his own version of the power of positive thinking, he was to dismiss them all and soon passed through the security posts followed by an Air Force Captain.

Meanwhile, his presence in the area had thrown everyone into a dilemma. The introduction he held from the High Council worried them because, though not written in any Earthly language, their minds were given power to properly translate the inscribed message. Captain Gould (not his real name) asked him to remain and after downing two plain bourbons muttered.. "My god, why couldn't this have happened on my day off.



Nixon Meets Man From Space.

There is a book in the Calif. Library System which states that our former president, Mr. Richard M. Nixon, once carried on a conversation with a man from space. I wonder what he would say about the information stated in the book? Here is the information;

...At that moment, another gentleman rushed into the room. It turned out to be Vice President Richard Nixon. He appeared to Val to be very sharp, quick-witted, with fixed, eyes and an amazing aptitude toward speed and profiency. "My name is Valiant," he said as the Vice President thrust his hand without hesitation.

"You have certainly caused a stir...for an out of Towner." The Vice President smiled as he continued, "Of course, we are not totally convinced of anything just yet. But suffice it to say we are checking and double checking everything you say and do. When Sergeant Young from Alexandria radioed in and stated that you had just landed in a flying saucer, we though," he continued, "Sergeant Young had flipped. Say, were you in on that UFO flap over Washington? You certainly had us all in a dither, if you were."

After assuring them that this planet had been under close scrutiny for hundreds of years before the 1945 bomb blast and with his special letter still in the slightly quivering hand of the President, he was requested to follow the Secret Service back the way they had come.. to the Pentagon and into a beautifully furnished apartment where he would spend the next three years. Fortunately, he was prepared for such a lengthy visit and kept in constant communication with the starship.

There were many occasions during which he teleported him-self in and out of those quarters often exercising "trans-imagery" to cause the security guards to visualize his face on a nonexistent I.D. badge.



Photos Taken

Soon after his arrival, together with three members of his crew, he joined a "convention" in the back yard of the home of Mr. Howard Menger in High Bridge, New Jersey.

The month was April, 1957. A certain group of individuals who were interested in UFOs were meeting that day. Val and his crew members, Donn, Jill and Tanyia, had changed into the same type of clothing worn by their Earth friends. The meeting was very interesting and these people were on the right track. He was dismayed to learn the undignified manner in which these people were treated by the press. Neverthe- less, these people were pursuing their beliefs and is was good. A curious young photographer, August C. Roberts, snapped several pictures, thinking he was doing so without Val's knowledge. The photographer seemed to be greatly troubled when he attempted to talk to him. Yet, it was those very photographs which were to bring me together with this unusual man on that cold December day. Holding the message from the High Council in his hand, the President stated that Val's offer to help the human family would upset the economy of the United States and could plunge her into the abyss of chaos. In brief, he politely told Val that the people of this planet were not ready to cope with such conditions as would come into existence if the recom- mendations of this unearthly visitor were put into action. Nevertheless, he was invited to assist a number of scientists who were out working on medical projects directly associated with the space sciences.





The Spaceman's Offer.

One might wonder why you late President Ike didn't take the offer that was given to us for help by the people from Venus. Here are some of the reasons why he didn't take them up on the offer for help...... ....His last meeting with the President did not reap any last- ing results. He wanted to let the world know of Val's pro- posed plan, but the Secretary of Defense, the head of the Central Intelligence Agency and the Military Chiefs of Staff were opposed to his suggestion. The President attempted to effect a joint meeting before the General Assembly of the United Nations. But this plan too was rejected. He was informed that the U.N. would receive a special "press release" in the form of a memorandum to the Secretary General no later than February, 1966. These leaders of the U.S. Gov- ernment argued long into the night, fearing that if the people of this nation learned of the plan Val was offering, they might choose to follow him instead of them. When a man feels that his personal peace and tranquility may be threatened, the human reaction is always that of swift self-preservation. At one point, the Vice President insisted that the "pressure boys" allow the President make the choice. He was vetoed with- out even a chance complete his statements.



World conditions were not growing any better. Much international pressure was being brought to bear upon the administration. They fought diligently and enforced rigid regulations with stiff penalties for revealing Val's presence. Even a major newscaster who inadvertently learned of his visit through one of his paid informants was silenced by none other than the Central Intelligence Agency, which has con- sistently disclaimed all knowledge concerning UFOs. Mean- while, they maintain secret files that could actually prove the existence of intelligent life in the universe beyond all doubt.

The morning of March 15, 1960 saw Val meeting with "Nancy Warren" who would continue to work inside the Pentagon and be one of his contacts in the Washington, D.C. area. She would continue communication with others who would become part of his Earth contacts. There are still to this day many adversaries to human freedom. These parasites have imbedded themselves in all phases of human society and will never be exposed except by extraterrestrial intervention. There are confused individuals who have perfected a saucer-type aircraft. Some of these are the result of an attempt by some to institute a master race. Remnants of this group still exist. These craft which they designed are still seen from time to time in areas of South America where some of those involved in the original plans still reside. These should not be confused with e spacecraft originating from other worlds or those coming from the inte- rior of this planet. Nor should the occupants of craft origi- nating from other worlds be confused with those "evil messengers" who do not originate from Earth but were cast INTO it after the first "war" ever recorded.



UFO On The Water.

It has been stated in the past that Val Thor has a space craft that is on the water of Lake Mead near Las Vegas. Here is some information about that UFO:

"Then I saw it. An actual, saucer-shaped vehicle was sit- ting on the water. I noticed a strange phenomena. The waves were gently rocking a power boat tied to the rough mooring, causing the boat to rise and fall. However, I noticed that the space craft DID NOT MOVE. I was to be informed later that the ship was equipped with a pencil-fine beam that when fixed on any solid object kept the ship from moving even one degree from that fixed position. As we neared the ship, it glis- tend in the light of the sun that was beautifully setting, rapidly. We sailed close to the craft with the motor cut off. Then an aperture opened, revealing two smiling faces. One man and one woman greeted me by name, took my hand, lifted me into the ship and then reached down for Val. A short time later, the small power-craft was also raised aboard and stowed in a compartment where a much larger power craft was also seen. My first impression was one of great exhilaration min- gled with joy and excitement. I had read from time to time true accounts that had changed the lives of other UFO researchers and investigators. I have read many books that carefully outlined the experiences of those who had experi- enced actual space contact. But now it was different. It was happening to me. I remembered how my colleagues in the Christian ministry looked with disdain upon anyone who would dare relate incidents about "space people", "space vehicles" and such. But now I found myself caring less what anyone would possibly think of me because of my own expe- riences. I was there!!!"



Purifying Sensation.

I was ushered by these wonderful people to a room where I was requested to completely disrobe. I did so with- out question. I then walked through a compartment that resembled a shower...only without water. I felt a purify- ing sensation all over my body. I no longer required my eye- glasses to see. This is another phenomena on board the ship that was quite "unscientific". I felt extremely good in body, soul and spirit. After walking through the "shower compartment" I was issued a white outfit that resembled what we would call "overalls". The fabric was lightweight just as Val's garment had been when he showed it to me at the Pentagon. However it was a different fabric than his.



How To Defecate On A Flying Saucer.

...later I was shown to my own guest quarters which were quite unique. Again no square corners. The color was pale blue made even softer by the indirect lighting which appeared to come from the ceiling. Walking across the floor was like standing in the thickest, puffiest clouds you can imagine. It seemed to "fit" the form of your foot as you walked. The room actually looked quite bare when you first walked in. Everything to serve your needs was located in the wall and with the push of a button, it was at your service. The bed, the desk, all at your fingertips. A view screen was visible in the wall at eye level as you sat in the chair provided for your com- plete comfort. One amusing incident occurred when the needs of nature had to be attended. I went into the bathroom and was embarrassed to note the obvious absence of toilet tissue. Then it happened. I heard a voice within my mind which I immediately recognized as belonging to Val. He said, "Frank, look to your right. You will find three buttons. Push the first, then the second and then the third, in that order."

I could hear Teel's laugh (Teel was pretty space lady) as I proceeded to press the first button. The sensation was that of a rapid warm wind similar to a jet of air, blowing beneath the seat. the process entirely crystallized the waste matters and caused it to drop from me. Then the second button was another jet blast of a different pressure and temperature. Finally, the third button. This pro- duced a pleasant, fragrant substance that made me feel as though I had been washed, cleaned, powdered and perfumed. As I came out of the bathroom, no one paid any atten- tion to me although I had a strong feeling that everybody in the room knew what had happened. Suddenly Teel broke the silence by saying, "Well, do you want take one home with your?" A few of them laughed and went on about their business. After meeting privately with Val, I proceeded to sleep for a few hours and in the morning, Val drove me back to San Diego where I again boarded a plane bound for Los Angeles.



Their ships

The space craft that Val Thor has on Lake Mead is parked in a certain place. Here is some information about it: Parked near the shore of the western-most reach of Lake Mead, east of Las Vegas, Nevada, is VICTOR ONE, a space- craft from an extraterrestrial culture in which the name Commander Valiant Thor is prominent. This is the craft which he commands and uses as his "home" on Earth. VIC- TOR ONE is northwest of Hoover Dam, southeast of Nellis Air Force Base, northeast of the town of Henderson, Nevada, and south of the Gypsum Plant. As of early December, 1988, it was just south of Las Vegas Wash about a mile northeast of the junction of Highways 147 and 166. It can move about.

VICTOR ONE has been in this vicinity for eleven years. There are other Victor Class spacecraft which have been observing Earth for thousands of years. Several thousand peo- ple of Earth know of VICTOR ONE... approximately 2000 are U.S. Government officials currently in office. A limited number of people of Earth have visited VICTOR ONE, including several scientists. No government officials have ever visited VICTOR ONE. The "Victor Class" Sector A space craft of the Victor Class is a 300-foot diameter discus, twenty-two feet high at the rim, increasing to ninety- seven feet on the axis. The permanent crew is approximately 200. Its audio-visual-laser-type camera can select and pick up any person's actions and words as well as record them, all this up to a distance of 1200 miles from the spacecraft.

There are presently about 450 persons under surveillance by VICTOR ONE. Only 20% are of a positive nature. The rest present some kind of threat to the planet. Approximately 103 victor Class spacecraft are on or near the surface of the Earth, active between some 287 locations The first Victor Class ship visited Earth nearly 6,000 years ago. When Albert Einstein's four papers of technical develop- ment first appeared in 1905, the need for close scrutiny increased. Deployment reached the present level of 103 in 1981 during the peak threat of nuclear war. All of e Victor Class ships were carefully constructed on board the Starship. There is a level compartment on the very bottom of the Starship where these ships are constructed and housed until they are dispatched. The crews are carefully chosen with the ranking officers being those who are consid- ered seasoned to command such a craft. The design of the Victor Class ships is constant. There are no variations. There are other scout ships that are smaller (such as the one which Val used to go to Alexandria, Virginia and visit the Pen- tagon).

These have a capacity of one, two, three, four, six, eight or ten persons. All of these are also constructed of the same basic material as the Victor Class ships. The shapes vary. As a mater of fact they have been built in every shape known to man. A mini-class ship with an elongated configuration in shape of a torpedo is used to transport supplies. These are those which have been seen coming out of the sides of mountains in California, Nevada and Arizona. Bases inside these mountain areas house these craft as well. You may have heard some of the stories the Indians tell of these bases. All of the Victor Class ships have the capability of inter- planetary travel if and when it's necessary.

The total number of crew on VICTOR ONE, as previ- ously mentioned, is 200. With Valiant Thor as Commander, there are four crew members who serve in the capacity of Vice Commander. These include Donn, Thonn, Teel and the Medical Officer who is known as "Doc". These com- manders have been chosen to serve until further advised. The rest of the compliment are those from the home planet Venus who have elected to serve under the direct command of Commander Val Thor. From time to time, however, there are those from other systems who volunteer to serve on VIC- TOR ONE for short periods to time...about three Earth months. This is done so that those of the crew members who wish to return home for a time may do so without disrupting the vital functions of the ship. Remember, life is not the same on their planets as it is here on Earth. No person or job is looked upon as any more or less important than any other person or job.



Cosmic Teachings

Three to five crew members directly assist V.C. Teel in the preparation and teaching of the various classes conducted aboard VICTOR ONE. Most of these classes are conducted by her and pertain directly to the following subject: A. Earth Sciences B. Earth people and their habits C. The fall of mankind and the Salvation of Jesus Christ D. The psychology of the human being

His/their tasks:

1. Command the starship as well as VICTOR ONE

2. Head the Venusians Council of Twelve

3. Control certain outposts around this planet

4. Oversee the task forces used to contain radiation around your cities

5. Make regular journeys to and from the planets

6. Conduct seminars on the Starship for the indoctrina- tion of those visiting from other star systems

7. Monitor discussion and plans by world leaders

8. Prevent atomic holocaust by exercising certain limits on certain human agencies

9. Work in full harmony with our Heavenly Creator Please do remember that there are at this time seven per- sons, of various backgrounds and experience on this Earth who have been gifted with a keen insight regarding matters pertaining to the future of this planet. It would do you good to listen to these four men and three women, one of whom is Dr. Frank Stranges. The others will make themselves known to their groups in their respective parts of the globe.

As i did a search on these two pics..Interesting thing is that with all the pictures taken, no one has come forward after all this time to claim it was somebody else. Would be easy to verify one way or the other, just compare photos from that same time period. "Like they did for example with Billy Meier Dean Martin Girls-Pledeians :) " this guy just seemed to vanish away..And as a kid growing up in Ohio I never even heard about him..And I briefly read about him on a UFO site..but this thread is really the 1st time I 'really read about him"

I read over at I believe it was David Ickes forum awhile back, about some of these new diseases being alien in nature. And some say they were implanted here by aliens? What I've been thinking is this: If certain ET's are so far more intelligent than we are then why oh why do some of them live underground? It doesn't seem to me such a clever thing to do. If they are way more intelligent than we are and of course they can travel faster than light, and there are millions of planets like ours why don't they find some planet to live happily ON the surface instead of living as moles do?

Living underground isn't a bad thing, and many cultures through out time have done it. It certainly is a way to remain on Terra/Earth and not be subjected to the harsh radiation, chemicals or (depending on the time frame) dangerous animals that are on the surface. Or What about for example the ET's that live on Venus, under ground. I really think if you broaden your scope and perception a little Stan, that you would come to see it's not a bad thing or show a lack of intelligence/advanced technologies to desire or chose to live underground.

Valiant Thor certainly isn't the only Venusian known to have visited earth during that time. I certainly remember also reading about Adamski and his experiences with not only Venusians but also Saturn or possible one of the moons? Maybe there will be more information in his books about the Venusian?

There was an article done by David Wilcock with a substantial amount of evidence, video, photos, etc etc. That talks about the high amounts and almost open disclosure from the 50's-60's time period. But ultimately apparently they decided to "back off" do to many of the contacts getting an unintended and unwanted (specially by the ET's) Messiah like complex.

It's not that I dismiss the idea of Venusians, or that they may visit here. John Lear you may recall has said that NASA has spread a lot of BS about the conditions of other planets in this solar system. He says in fact they are all what they'd call "M Class" on Star Trek :). I don't know if this story is true or not but:

1. It takes many years of training before an astronaut can go into space.
2. I read a book by a Peruvian curandero (type of shaman) who claims he is in contact with a group who maintain the ancient Incan knowledge and he talks about an underground city which is very technologically advanced with very modern buildings with amenities that we would envy and where they live much better than we do, beautiful gardens, spacecraft which they use to travel around on Earth and out in space. These people do not age as their technology allows them to purify the human body and they live for hundreds of years. There is a strange correlation here. Billy meier mentions some folks known as the giza intelligence. Meier mentions these folks lived in two locations one was here on earth under the great pyramid in Egypt the the other being the moon ganymede. I met and talked with Al Bielek and Phil Schneider on three different occasions back in the mid-90s. I don't recall what Al specifically said about Val Thor but I do remember asking Al why the picture of his "Val Thor" looked different than Stranges' "Val Thor". Al didn't have any answer and didn't seem to be aware of that.

Perhaps there is a clear picture of Al's or Phil's "Val Thor" somewhere on the internet. The one that Phil shows in one of his videos is too fuzzy to discern the image.

I got to listen to Al & Phil talk at a very small gathering of about six people in a small room. I neglected to bring a video camera and I am still kicking myself in the butt today about that because it was really something special. Phil opened his locked metal case with all the exotic metals, implant, pictures, etc and I got to handle them. Also, Phil and Al got into a conversation about Phil's invention that created some kind of energy beam. Phil threw something into the beam and it disappeared. Al talked in great detail about the electronics involved in the Philadelphia project. This was just shortly before Phil was murdered (and shortly after he had been shot in his left shoulder).

. These seven volcanic domes were discovered in Magellan's radar images. They all have round shapes that are about 25 thousand meters across, and steep sides that are less than 750 meters high. Their central vents may be lined up along a crack in the surface. These domes are interpreted as very thick, stiff and sluggish lava flows, rather than the fluid and runny type. Eruptions of the pasty, viscous lava, coming from a central vent on a relatively level surface, would form the circular, flattened shapes that resemble giant pancakes. Prof Ksanfomaliti, from the Moscow-based Space Research Institute, analysed photographs taken by a Soviet probe that landed on the planet's surface.

The 79 year-old claimed the pictures, taken by the probe Venus-13 in 1982, show a giant scorpion-styled insect that he claimed proved to life on the scorching second-closest planet to the sun.

But the views of the member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, published in Solar System Research, have been cast into doubt.

Experts say the features described as a disc and a scorpion appear to change locations from one photo to the next.

Prof Ksanfomaliti said the images show a scorpion shaped body, a disc and a "black flap" which apparently move as the probe's camera records the scene.

NASA describes Venus (based on their spacecraft’s findings and the findings of Russian spacecraft) as:

At first glance, if Earth had a twin, it would be Venus. The two planets are similar in size, mass, composition, and distance from the Sun. But there the similarities end. Venus has no ocean. Venus is covered by thick, rapidly spinning clouds that trap surface heat, creating a scorched greenhouse-like world with temperatures hot enough to melt lead and pressure so intense that standing on Venus would feel like the pressure felt 900 meters deep in Earth's oceans. These clouds reflect sunlight in addition to trapping heat. Because Venus reflects so much sunlight, it is usually the brightest planet in the sky.

Sulfur compounds, possibly attributable to volcanic activity, are abundant in Venus' clouds. The corrosive chemistry and dense, moving atmosphere cause significant surface weathering and erosion. Radar images of the surface show wind streaks and sand dunes.

More than 1,000 volcanoes or volcanic centers larger than 20 kilometers (12 miles) in diameter dot the surface of Venus. Volcanic flows have produced long, sinuous channels extending for hundreds of kilometers.

John Lear, however, begs to differ with NASA. Based on information John has accumulated, including data from George Adamski who was afforded a ‘bird’s eye view’ of Venus and several remote viewer friends of John’s he believes Venus is more like this:

Now, based on NASA’s record of reporting, what sounds more plausible? The Venus described by NASA or the Venus described by John Lear (using George Adamski’s quotes, and descriptions from John’s remote viewer friends)?

EVIDENCE OF CIVILIZATION ON VENUS

It is scientifically possible for material plane beings to live in an atmosphere on another planet, that is too hot or chemically fatal to Earth humans, by constructing underground air-conditioned bases or cities protected from the elements on the surface. It is also feasible to create air---conditioned domes on the surface of other planets that have artificial atmospheres exactly like on Earth, and American scientists admit they already have the technology and plans to create these bases on Mars and our Moon. Therefore extraterrestrials with the superior technology to create disc--shaped U.F.O.s, that are detailed in dozens of photos and documents in the U.S. Air Force released Project Bluebook files, could logically possess the advanced science to create such bases on the surface of the planet Venus.

The physicists William Plummer and John Strong stated that Venus may have large areas of bearable temperatures. The regions near the Venusian north and south poles would be much cooler than the areas reportedly monitored by space probes. Furthermore, according to Professor Alexander Lebedinsky, in the Soviet Union, in data suppressed by the United States Pentagon complex, the usual surface temperature of much of Venus must be about 110 degrees Fahrenheit, even though "radio---electric" measurements indicated 700 or more degrees. Similar observations can be made on the relatively COOL surfaces of gas tubes used in neon signs, because the radio--electric equivalent of those tubes is also several thousand degrees!

Furthermore, highly intelligent dolphins, with a brain capacity larger than the humans are underwater in an environment that would kill us humans very quickly without a dive suit and oxygen supply. These dolphins would also die within a half hour in our atmosphere, which is deadly to them! This proves that flesh and blood physical intelligent beings can live in an environment that would kill us and vice-versa! So how can so- called "experts" claim that intelligent life absolutely cannot live in another kind of an atmosphere on a different planet? Furthermore, 7,000 feet under the ocean in pressures that would instantly crush us humans without a heavy diving suit, biologists have found crabs, shrimps, snails, and worms living in 530 degrees F. temperatures, and large worms living in poisonous chemicals from vents erupting from the sea bottom. These creatures ate the deadly chemicals to live! (Honolulu Advertiser newspaper, June , 1990). This discovery proves that heat and pressures and chemicals that would kill us are perfectly livable to types of physical beings. So why couldn't creatures live on the surface of Venus, where the NASA space program officials who have misled the public about the truth of interplanetary spacecraft tell the public it is too hot for physical life with too heavy an atmosphere and dangerous gases?

Why did a number of American orbiting spacecraft transmit data that Earth itself is too hot for human life with a deadly atmosphere, insufficient oxygen, and hostile elements, and then they expect us to believe their Venus probe data is accurate? Temperatures up to 180OF. have been recorded in Earth's ionosphere 180 miles up. Could it be that the NASA official temperature readings on Venus originated in the Venusian ionosphere.

The temperatures given to the public from the American and the Soviet Venus probes contradicted each other by hundreds of degrees, and the temperatures given off by different American Venus rockets also were in conflict, proving all this data is very unreliable. If a probe orbiting Earth sent back a temperature reading of Alaska that was as conflicting as the Venus data, we could be told it was 200 degrees there in the ice!

We were told that the atmosphere of Venus is over 100 times denser than Earth, so how would it be possible for a parachute to be used to slow the landing of the Venus craft, when in pressures that great the space rocket would FLOAT slowly to the surface without the need of a parachute like boats sink in an ocean? That pressure is like trying to parachute the spacecraft 2,000 feet to the bottom of the ocean! Why also did NASA contradict these releases by claiming that a parachute would not work on the moon Titan, because the atmosphere there(similar to Venus) is too dense(just like Venus). That data was in a press release December 12, 1980 with space expert James Murphy.

When the Soviets landed their spacecraft Venera on the surface of Venus, it sent excellent photographs showing a bright landscape of hills and rocks, much like our deserts on Earth yet an atmosphere that dense was expected to produce photos of total darkness. How can Venus be mapped by radar in such a dense atmosphere, the equivalent of using radar to map the bottom of our oceans at a depth that is impossible?


CANADIAN SCIENTISTS CONTACT VENUS

In January 1972, the Department of Interplanetary Affairs was created, to research into the scientific investigation of UFOs and attempt to contact UFO occupants if possible. Extensive files on reports of UFO landings, sightings, and contacts in Hawaii were soon accumulated, and it was discovered that many UFO researchers desired our reports. We began to trade data, and were amazed when former officials of secret government and military intelligence agencies came to our office, and
offered to trade us what THEY KNEW for what we knew. The information was often classified TOP SECRET and beyond, they admitted government and military UFO secrecy, and much of the information alarmed us then! Regardless of whether they came from NASA, were government commissioned civilian scientists, military pilots of intelligence agents, or from the United Nations, THEY ALL TOLD THE SAME SHOCKING DETAILS. There were no contradictions in these reports of alien bases on Earth, other planets, crashed retrieved saucers with bodies, and secret alien government contacts. And most of these informers, who wished to remain anonymous due to threats of assassination, fines, court marshals, or mysterious disappearance warned that we could get in big trouble for publicly releasing what they told us!

In the early 1950s, the Canadian Government established PROJECT MAGNET to investigate UFOs. The director of that project, Wilburt B. Smith, publicly wrote that a top U.S. Pentagon official said that UFOs was the biggest secret they had, even greater than the H BOMB(the ultimate weapon then). We were able to obtain a copy of Wilburt B. Smith's research on Project Magnet.

This research was so startling he could possibly have been assassinated for releasing it, so it was not available to us until he died. PROJECT MAGNET has been able to work with Canadian scientists who had continued working on inventions of Nikola Tesla, one of the most prominent scientists in history. Tesla, who invented the AC/DC electrical current, helped invent radar and much military technology, was the holder of hundreds of successful patented inventions. He had told some associates and friends he had invented an interplanetary communications device with ideas given to him by Venusians

PROJECT MAGNET took Tesla seriously. This report details a formerly secret experimental UFO landing site built by the Canadian government during their attempts to contact UFOs their air force had monitored in the skies. Former Canadian Defense Minister, Paul Hellyear, later publicly admitted that project existed. However, he did not mention what Smith reported. the project had actually detected a real UFO with their scientific equipment, and later a scientific research group he directed established communications with a landed interplanetary ship from what their pilots said was Venus. Tesla's closest scientific assistant at one time, Arthur Matthews, was involved in this contact. The Project Magnet report added that Matthews had been trying to complete some of Tesla's incomplete inventions, when the Venusians helped him with instructions on finishing that work. The report also details several inventions the Venusians gave to Project Magnet through Dr. Matthews' committee, which were tested and worked perfectly. The Venusians were also seriously concerned about our environmental damage and danger from nuclear testing and fossil fuels, warned the government to try to stop these practices, and offered alternative non-polluting nearly-free energy systems that government leaders, kept in power by multi-billion dollar oil, gas, coal, and war industries all rejected for "Economic reasons."

I was listening to last weeks cash flow with Bob Nevritt based in Maui today 7hrs long,

I met and talked with Al Bielek and Phil Schneider on three different occasions back in the mid-90s. I don't recall what Al specifically said about Val Thor but I do remember asking Al why the picture of his "Val Thor" looked different than Stranges' "Val Thor". Al didn't have any answer and didn't seem to be aware of that.

Perhaps there is a clear picture of Al's or Phil's "Val Thor" somewhere on the internet. The one that Phil shows in one of his videos is too fuzzy to discern the image.

I got to listen to Al & Phil talk at a very small gathering of about six people in a small room. I neglected to bring a video camera and I am still kicking myself in the butt today about that because it was really something special. Phil opened his locked metal case with all the exotic metals, implant, pictures, etc and I got to handle them. Also, Phil and Al got into a conversation about Phil's invention that created some kind of energy beam. Phil threw something into the beam and it disappeared. Al talked in great detail about the electronics involved in the Philadelphia project. This was just shortly before Phil was murdered (and shortly after he had been shot in his left shoulder).



I knew both Al Bielek and Phil Schneider (when they were traveling around together) and Al Bielek said he also met Val Thor.

I do not know about alternate time lines. But there is a contact story called "I visited Ganymede". It's pretty good, and strangely enough, the folks initiating the contact in the story state they are the survivors of the Meldek destruction and now live underground on Ganymede.

So yea, I personally have felt for a while that if this whole Venus thing is true, it's probably the same deal. Refugees from Meldek living underground in/on Venus.

Last nite on C2C George was interviewing a casting director (Craig Campobasso)
He talked to him about several of his current and former projects but the one
that caught my attention was a short film which won Best Sci-Fi Short Film at the 2014 Burbank Film Festival.( Stranger at the Pentagon )

It's based upon the popular UFO book written by Frank Stranges in 1967.
In the book Stranges described a divine being named Valiant Thor who allegedly came to Earth from Venus with a mission to help eliminate disease and poverty, and extend people's lives. Thor was said to meet with Pres. Eisenhower in 1957, who put him on a VIP status, so that he could live at the Pentagon for a three-year period in order to work on implementing his plan.

I find this whole Val Thor story extremely interesting.
I first came across this stuff when Phil Schneider said he'd met Val Thor.
Back then, Phil had been making 'staggering' claims about human-ET hybrid experiments at Dulse.
Subsequently more testimony appeared (concerning Dulse) .. including John Lear's contributions.
Today, having spent hundreds of hours researching the Dulse claims, i rather suspect it's all true.
So what should i believe ?
That Phil Schneider lied about Val Thor but told the truth about Dulse ?
As you might imagine, i'm much readier to believe the Val Thor story today, than i was back then.

Does anybody know, what's the most recent evidence we have of Val Thor's existence ?

In the first half, Emmy-nominated casting director Craig Campobasso talked about his film career and current projects, including his directorial debut, Stranger at the Pentagon, which won Best Sci-Fi Short Film at the 2014 Burbank Film Festival. Campobasso, who also wrote and produced "Stranger at the Pentagon" based it upon the popular UFO book of the same name written by Frank Stranges in 1967. Stranges described a divine being named Valiant Thor who allegedly came to Earth from Venus with a mission to help eliminate disease and poverty, and extend people's lives. Thor was said to meet with Pres. Eisenhower in 1957, who put him on a VIP status, so that he could live at the Pentagon for a three-year period in order to work on implementing his plan.

In 1959, Stranges said he met a woman from the Pentagon who introduced him to Valiant Thor. Earlier, retired Air Force photographer August Roberts took images of three beings at contactee Howard Menger's home, whom he believed were "space people," including Valiant Thor, who was said to have no palm prints. Mike, you should check some of Carmody's threads, you would understand why he does not tell. And this is when I can understand his threads, after 2-3 readings.

What I mean is that I/we are not at the level where we can understand what he writes, most of the time. My brain is certainly not at par with his, and I am definitely over average.

However, when I/you read him with your heart at the same time as your reason, sometimes, light suddenly appears in front of the tunnel and Eureka!

I have questioned my own origin in meditation, and I feel that something similar has happened to me. Whether it was my soul that was beamed into a baby born by mum, or whether I was already incarnate and somehow swapped in hospital. I have been given visions of being traded between beings on a far away planet, and I have tremendous feelings of love for a certain ET being. A memory even actively entered my waking consciousness without my searching for it, which seems to affirm it's validity, in my mind.

I am half way through reading 'The Wall of Light' by Arthur Matthews. It was very interesting and believable, even when Matthews speaks of the space ship taking him to Venus.

But it gets weird when he describes being taken to Mars by his Venusian friends. His descriptions of Mars is not at all believable based on what we now know of the US secret space program.

Also he gets weird in talking about Jesus and the Bible and the Venusian' 'preaching' about Biblical scriptures.
There is an obvious disconnect between the first half of the book and the second half.

Anyone have knowledge of Matthews' writings on Tesla besides "The Wall of Light?"

I have questioned my own origin in meditation, and I feel that something similar has happened to me. Whether it was my soul that was beamed into a baby born by mum, or whether I was already incarnate and somehow swapped in hospital. I have been given visions of being traded between beings on a far away planet, and I have tremendous feelings of love for a certain ET being. I am half way through reading 'The Wall of Light' by Arthur Matthews. It was very interesting and believable, even when Matthews speaks of the space ship taking him to Venus.

But it gets weird when he describes being taken to Mars by his Venusian friends. His descriptions of Mars is not at all believable based on what we now know of the US secret space program.

Also he gets weird in talking about Jesus and the Bible and the Venusian' 'preaching' about Biblical scriptures.
There is an obvious disconnect between the first half of the book and the second half.

Anyone have knowledge of Matthews' writings on Tesla besides "The Wall of Light?"

Interesting, as Chris Thomas says that he found about this particular race of Velon ETs from reading the DNA memory of a client that came to him with health problems that were connected to past-life memories arising in his present lifetime, which he wasn't able to understand - memories of having traveled back in time to Sumeria to plant the Anunnaki Story to a clay tablet scribe.

So yes, even semi-physical races (such as Anunnaki/Velon), when they take on human physical bodies, also lose consciousness, experiencing a loss of awareness. What I've been thinking is this: If certain ET's are so far more intelligent than we are then why oh why do some of them live underground? It doesn't seem to me such a clever thing to do. If they are way more intelligent than we are and of course they can travel faster than light, and there are millions of planets like ours why don't they find some planet to live happily ON the surface instead of living as moles do?

This is an excellent summary video for anyone not familiar with this extremely interesting story.

For the record, I don't discount it: though I'd be pretty sure he and his colleagues weren't from Venus. (In the 1950s, that may well have been a plausible and workable cover story.)

I'm not saying I disbelieve what has been posted here, but some Venusian offered such good things to the head of state of one country? Why would they make an offer apparently based on good will and charity and make it only to 4.5% of the worlds population?

I wonder also why he was so easily put off. Countries aren't dairies; it's not the cream of the crop that rises to the top. That such selfish people were allowed to decide on behalf of the US is not consistent with a benevolent extraterrestrial. I tend to agree that the story of valiant thor is a hoax. From listening to the vid in the OP the part that i can verify from my own experience as being self-serving BS is the description of Richard Nixon, who is not the 'sharp witted intelligent man' illustrated. Nixon was a shifty liar.

The book 'stranger in the pentagon' was apparently published in 1967, well after any of this could be verified. Listening to a bit of a vid on Rev. Dr. Stranges doesnt give me a warm and fuzzy feeling, sounds like he uses ufo tales to stir up fire and brimstone, and i'd question his honesty in this affair. Also, Richard Dolan has difficulty accepting some of Phil Schneider's testimony.

I also question the narrative of a well meaning alien from venus (they didnt know that world was a scorched world until the seventies). If you are well meaning and want to provide the Earth with lifesaving medical and agricultural tech, then wouldnt you contact independent researchers who could get it out instead of taking up residence in a lair of military paranoids. The story doesnt make sense. It feeds the control mechanism that aliens must go thru the government to save us. This sounds like a cia con job.

I only dug a little, and found this critique of the valiant thor story. This guy claims to have identified who the pictures are of. He identifies discepancies in two photos. He also identifies inconsistencies in Schneider's claims.

There's a wonderful story told by Timothy Good in his seminal book, Above Top Secret. He was in New York, with a little time to kill, and was sitting in a hotel lobby. The thought occurred to him to reach out telepathically to any ETs who might be in the area. He invited any ET who could 'hear' him to come and meet him in the lobby where he was sitting.

A short while later, a well-dressed man, looking 100% totally human and normal, entered the lobby and came to sit down right next to him. This was highly strange: there were many other chairs free, as the lobby was practically empty. The man said nothing, and got out a newspaper and started to read. Fairly soon after, the stranger folder his newspaper and left again.

Timothy Good said that one of his greatest regrets in his life was that he never opened up a conversation.

There is also the case of Sir Peter Horsley, Senior Equerry(Advisor) to the Queen and Prince Philip, and the strange Mr. Janus:

Sir Peter Horsley was a former World War II pilot and squadron leader. He entered the service of the Royals in July 1949 before returning to the RAF in 1956 where he rose through the ranks. His final role in the RAF was as Deputy Commander in Chief RAF Strike Command in 1973 before he retired. In 1954 Horsley was invited, by a British Army General Martin, to meet an extraterrestrial being in a flat in London. The property belonged to a Mrs Markham at the time. Sir Peter was taken to a dimly lit room where he encountered one very mysterious Mr Janus.

Horsley recalls very little about any features of Mr Janus in his autobiography, Sounds from Another Room.

"What is strange is that I have no lasting impression of him. He seemed to fit perfectly in his surroundings. If I have any impression it was his quiet voice which had a rich quality to it. He looked about 45 to 50 years old and was wearing a suit and a tie. He was quite normal in every way except that he seemed to be tuning into my mind and gradually took over the conversation. …by the end of the meeting I was quite disturbed really".

The conversation started with Janus asking Horsley about everything he knew about flying saucers. Janus explained that man was going through a Dark Age. Humanity was using technology like a child with new toys giving scant regard to his surroundings, nature and his fellow humans. He explained that in 20 or 30 years, (remember this was 1954) that rockets and satellites would become commonplace and miniaturization of our technology and advances in communication would grow rapidly. However, he stressed that Earth was in a backwater of the galaxy, inhabited by half civilized beings who posed a danger to their neighbours. Earth was visited from time to time but mainly by robot controlled probes. Occasional physical interference was necessary, but that a general rule of space exploration applied throughout the galaxy.

At the end of a long conversation Sir Peter asked Janus what his specific interest was. To which Janus replied:

"You do not interfere with the natural development and order of life in the universe".

Horsley made a full verbatim report of his meeting. He was disturbed by the fact that Janus could seemingly read his mind and had a significant knowledge of nuclear installations in Britain. Michael Parker, Prince Philip’s private secretary, treated the whole affair as a joke but commented that the Duke of Edinburgh had actually kept an open mind to the whole affair.

When Horsley published his memoirs in 1997, a senior official at the Ministry of Defence commented:

"How unfortunate that the public will learn that the man who had his finger on the button of Strike Command was seeing little green men".

There is no chance I made a mistake, as I originally needed the address to pick up this "person." He was at that address.

Yes. I can report the experience, that a [non-forum] friend had many years ago, whose account I'm 100% certain was sincere. She described it to me in detail, and has been utterly bewildered by it ever since.

She was at University in Chicago when she was 18, and, walking down the street, she came on a small second-hand [used] bookshop she'd not noticed before. She went inside, and the owner there seemed to recognize her, or even be expecting her.

He greeted her warmly, and GAVE her a book that he thought might be interesting to her... that she still has to this day. It was all a pleasant and curious experience for her.

I would be interested to know more about Mrs Markham. Interesting story. How did she come into the picture. How did she come in contact with Mr Janus? How was he first encountered? Or seen to arrive on British soil? Who was Mrs Markham? Was she ever seen again? If there is more, I would certainly like to read it.

Also, after listening more closely to the extract from the book by Frank Stanges, the details of how Val V Thor arrives, how the police vehicle happened to be there when his craft arrived .. those minutiae details, I think are important. Was there a police report? There were the references to the press of the day as well being present. There must be some corroborating evidence from newspaper libraries.

Wonder if Val still visits. He and his posse are all so good looking too. The men remind me of versions of Cary Grant. Which reminds me of a mysterious ‘family’ of very tall people who suddenly appeared in the room of a UFO conference I once went to, not a big one but held in a smaller intimate function room on the eight floor of a Hilton Hotel. The session speakers were Peter Davenport (then MUFON) and Jamie .. what’s his name, the journalist from Brazil (sorry his surname escapes me at this time) and just as the lights dimmed - in walks this amazing statuesque family and they took up seats in the back two rows. I was mesmerised by them - there was a discernible change in the energy of the room. I was heavily pregnant and quite sensitive too I suppose. They were like super human .. and one of them who I assumed to be a daughter had a gravitas about her that I have never experienced before. They looked well heeled too. And my sense was, not of here. Debra, I had experiences like that a few times, but before I knew they had et's here. I would know there was something not quite "human" and it was very confusing. They have a very noticeable presence. Stuff really started happening after I went to D.C. and NYC in December 2012. Well heeled. Yeah.

I have just ordered Peter Horsley's autobiography, Sounds from Another Room, which details his career in the RAF and a lot more besides. There is quite a hefty chapter dedicated to the whole Janus affair.

Of course. The book was dispatched yesterday (Saturday), so hoping to have it by mid-week.

I'm pursuing a couple of angles if this case in the hope of gleaning some solid evidence that may shed some much needed light upon this fantastic story. With the help of a much respected UK researcher I'm busy preparing a FOI request for a letter that was sent by Michael Heseltine from Whitehall (when he was Secretary of State for Defence) to the Rt Hon Merlyn Rees MP in response to an official question asked in the early 80's regarding this case. Also, BA General Martin. This seems like a most obvious lead as he was the point-man between Janus and Horsley. I have my line of inquiry ready but am waiting to see what further detail can be gleaned from Horsley's autobiography before pursuing it further.

Yes, I remember that, too. I think (but I may be wrong!) it was in a YouTube interview with someone (was it David Jacobs??) who'd also told the story of someone being approached, after accidentally having his mind read and realizing it, by a striking, telepathic couple in a Las Vegas casino. I'll try to hunt it down. :)

I said I wanted a cup of coffee and we went into the coffee bar there. Strangely, there was not a soul in there but the bartender, my friend, me and two impeccably dressed tall thin oriental looking [I](not entirely oriental but it is the closest description I can think of) sitting on a beautiful couch in the same room. I felt I was being watched as we sat there and turned around. The men were talking excitedly but quietly and yes, they were observing me. There was something very different and quietly obvious about them. They were dressed in beautiful, expensive dark suits, identical, with thin ties. They did not have hats on.

To this day, it stands out as odd and different.

i think that if we pay attention, we all have strange experience with strange people sometimes. Those Asian guys dress alike make me think of body guards, taking a coffee while waiting for their boss for example. In fact, it could be anything.

The strangest up to no for me must have been Simon Parkes lolllll kidding, he is strange (different) but fully human.

Just get your vibration higher, you may meet nice strange people. I now refuse entry to lower ones, personally.

This was reported as being extremely disturbing for Peter Horsley, by all intent and purpose, a very serious man, although, and perhaps tellingly, his integrity was never once doubted by those who knew him.



I want to comment on the "disappearing address" in the account above. During the time I was running into strange beings and happenings, I was also keeping a journal. I have always kept one. After one such meeting where I was told to go to a certain address in New Orleans (which I double checked in my journal), I looked up the address in question, trying to make some sense of it all. The address I went to was a house; what in New Orleans is called a double shotgun. When I looked it up on the internet, it had morphed into a totally different building. Same address. There is no chance I made a mistake, as I originally needed the address to pick up this "person." He was at that address.

All those neighborhoods are hundreds of years old. They haven't changed. Very strange.

There is some kind of ability to manipulate our reality. Obviously.

Yes. I can report the experience, that a [non-forum] friend had many years ago, whose account I'm 100% certain was sincere. She described it to me in detail, and has been utterly bewildered by it ever since.

She was at University in Chicago when she was 18, and, walking down the street, she came on a small second-hand [used] bookshop she'd not noticed before. She went inside, and the owner there seemed to recognize her, or even be expecting her.

He greeted her warmly, and GAVE her a book that he thought might be interesting to her... that she still has to this day. It was all a pleasant and curious experience for her.

A few days later, she returned. The bookshop was no longer there.

BMJ, I don't wish ill on anyone but it IS nice to have the confirmation from others who have been through similar experiences. It seems they are trying to drive you into terror, fear and confusion, for reasons I don't completely understand. Maybe they are trying to prevent one from breaking through and it is a last ditch, all out effort by things I wish I understood better.

I love you Foxie. We don't understand it, we are just living through it. So true. That's why I feel it's important we share our formally impossible things that couldn't happen but did, experiences.

I remember telling one girl who had been a work friend and had unaccountably gotten locked up (she was otherwise normal; like me) what had happened and she said "Oh, you're in the club too." Well hell, I guess I am.

There is also the case of Sir Peter Horsley, Senior Equerry(Advisor) to the Queen and Prince Philip, and the strange Mr. Janus:

Sir Peter Horsley was a former World War II pilot and squadron leader. He entered the service of the Royals in July 1949 before returning to the RAF in 1956 where he rose through the ranks. His final role in the RAF was as Deputy Commander in Chief RAF Strike Command in 1973 before he retired. In 1954 Horsley was invited, by a British Army General Martin, to meet an extraterrestrial being in a flat in London. The property belonged to a Mrs Markham at the time. Sir Peter was taken to a dimly lit room where he encountered one very mysterious Mr Janus.

Horsley recalls very little about any features of Mr Janus in his autobiography, Sounds from Another Room.

"What is strange is that I have no lasting impression of him. He seemed to fit perfectly in his surroundings. If I have any impression it was his quiet voice which had a rich quality to it. He looked about 45 to 50 years old and was wearing a suit and a tie. He was quite normal in every way except that he seemed to be tuning into my mind and gradually took over the conversation. …by the end of the meeting I was quite disturbed really".

The conversation started with Janus asking Horsley about everything he knew about flying saucers. Janus explained that man was going through a Dark Age. Humanity was using technology like a child with new toys giving scant regard to his surroundings, nature and his fellow humans. He explained that in 20 or 30 years, (remember this was 1954) that rockets and satellites would become commonplace and miniaturization of our technology and advances in communication would grow rapidly. However, he stressed that Earth was in a backwater of the galaxy, inhabited by half civilized beings who posed a danger to their neighbours. Earth was visited from time to time but mainly by robot controlled probes. Occasional physical interference was necessary, but that a general rule of space exploration applied throughout the galaxy.

At the end of a long conversation Sir Peter asked Janus what his specific interest was. To which Janus replied:

"You do not interfere with the natural development and order of life in the universe".

Horsley made a full verbatim report of his meeting. He was disturbed by the fact that Janus could seemingly read his mind and had a significant knowledge of nuclear installations in Britain. Michael Parker, Prince Philip’s private secretary, treated the whole affair as a joke but commented that the Duke of Edinburgh had actually kept an open mind to the whole affair.

When Horsley published his memoirs in 1997, a senior official at the Ministry of Defence commented:

"How unfortunate that the public will learn that the man who had his finger on the button of Strike Command was seeing little green men".

When Peter Horsley reported back to the palace (Buckingham), and the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) heard of this, it was decided that any meeting between Prince Philip and Mr. Janus would be a security risk (Janus had wished to meet with Prince Philip). Horsley was immediately dispatched back to the house of Mrs. Markham in Chelsea to interrogate Janus further. Upon his arrival back at the address it had become completely different and not at all what he had seen on the night in question. The room had been vacated apparently, he could find no trace of Mrs. Markham and of course, there was no sign of Janus. This was reported as being extremely disturbing for Peter Horsley, by all intent and purpose, a very serious man, although, and perhaps tellingly, his integrity was never once doubted by those who knew him.

Peter Horsley stated to a trusted friend: "There is no doubt in my mind that Mr. Janus was an Alien, insofar as he was not of this Planet".

The Government file on the incident remains classified to this day.

What surprises me is this is one of the most highly publicized affairs of its kind, and no one seems to know about it. There should be some folks who remember it happening.

Now if Valiant has a slight Earthling look to him...and then you might debate if he had six fingers or prints, or what happened to him...something actually did happen at the White House.

Also, we are very susceptible to hallucinations. If Venus is a paradise, and they want it to look like a sulfur methane storm, we will see a sulfur methane storm. Same with the disappearing bookstores, time-shifting streets, mysterious strangers...you can be made to see or hear anything, or prevented from seeing something. No aliens are necessary. People can do that to you. Like a werewolf--man transmutes into a beast? Or man just makes you see him as a wolf. Telepathy and the image-making process are just too ethereal for the ordinary person to understand, let alone counter-act.

I could not explain why the Feds would want to cart around an actor or some other famous liar for a number of years. The "story" isn't quite sensible, but the actual evidence of some people just walking into the middle of government is hard to get around. It's probably the first or only story of an alien that looks human. Maybe the Air Force was just sending disinformation agents to "test the waters" as usual, but instead of testing the public, they switched it around. "War of the Worlds" was probably relatively fresh in the memory then. A totally fake thing caused a major panic, but something like this, or the Battle of Los Angeles, or Phoenix Lights, produces little effect.

In reference to Peter Horsley's autobiography, 'Sounds from Another Room'. Because of Horsley's close connections to the royalty, one of his close friends from RAF days was Peter Caddy. Peter Caddy pre Findhorn Community, Scotland had received ET communications that eventually was transcribed into a manuscript. This manuscript had an identical theme to 'JANUS', this was given to Horsley to give to Prince Philip, Horsley was retired by then.

Gorden Creighten, ex MI6, then one of the editors of 'Flying Saucer Review' (FSR), which was the first monthly publication in the world (before the use of the word UFO), had mentioned one time that Prince Philip was an early subscriber to FSR. Eventually, in later years both Prince Philip and Prince Charles were subscribers to FSR.
