Great post Maia!!

Bruce WAS an extrodinary individual. One of my favorite stories about him that I recall, was written about him by a close friend of his. The friend said he stopped by Bruces home to have a chat and his wife told him that Bruce was in his basement exersise room, so down to the basement he went. As he rounded the corner from the stairwell into the basement he could plainly see Bruce, sitting there in the "Lotus" position... 3 feet off the floor!!! He said Bruce, whos eyes were closed, opened them... lowered his feet to the floor... and was standing, without his body moving at all!!!

This is an excellent video; it deserves more attention than what it’s currently receiving. It amazes me where the majority of us put our power….then wonder why things are the way they are. The lack of recognition and acknowledgement of this video (and similar subject matter) says a whole lot. The silence can be deafening. But I hear ya… loud and clear!!

Thanks, truly.

Peace

There's another thread called, Bruce Lee’s Teachings (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?77859-Bruce-Lee--s-Teachings&p=910765&viewfull=1#post910765).

Terra posted (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?77859-Bruce-Lee--s-Teachings&p=910820&viewfull=1#post910820) this:

A true master of chi. His mind was tuned as well as his physique. Love the way how he demonstrates this in the one inch punch and his unsual ping-pong style.

And from an article called: "Five of Bruce Lee’s Teachings that will Change Your Life" and an extra video and graphic.

My nephew is learning martial arts and they are not teaching the respect they should be teaching with it, I think I will try to find all Bruce Lees teachings and make a DVD for him., There is stuff here even I never saw,and that is saying something, always up for more learning..

P.S. I cried for 2 weeks when I found out the that Bruce was no longer with us.

My son, who is now 30, has been training in various martial arts since he was 14. He is a big fan of Bruce Lee. One day, when he was about 18 he asked me if I had seen Bruce Lee's one inch punch. I said no... then I felt it, right in the centre of my chest. I thought I was going to die and could barely breathe for two days. Thankfully, my son has grown up a bit since then and doesn't mess around with his deadly skills.

the matrix doesn't like people who have a real effect on others in a positive way , Bruce Lee , Martin Luther King , so many killed for their potential to make people think and act for the better ...

That was unexpected, joeecho! Honestly? It's a good thing you added, "Wait for it."

It was worth the wait.

I also enjoyed the lesson in perspective.

Once you have the perspective you see it before you see it (per say).

Perspective, one of the great secrets of the sages of old....
