Monday’s guilty verdict for former CIA officer Jeffrey Sterling is another example of
whistleblowers attempting to go through proper channels to expose wrongdoing, and
then being “flagged as troublemakers” and facing severe retaliation from the government,
according to transparency advocate Norman Solomon. Speaking to RT’s Ben Swann just
hours after a jury convicted the spy of espionage for revealing details of a CIA plot to give
flawed nuclear weapons schematics to Iran, the journalist and activist not only lashed the
administration for its prosecution of Sterling, but also offered a stark warning about the
state of whistleblowing in the US

Any potential whistleblower has to get it into their head that the Court system is not a court of justice, it is a Court of Law, and there is a massive difference.
Good find Cider.

The biggest problem with potential whistle blowers is what to tell the media or public about what is going on. Any media attention regarding unauthorised leaks isn't going to be looked on favourable by the intelligence services since it is an unplanned leak and it catches them off guard. Further intelligence matters and activities are murky to say the least. It is not a case of black or white, there are many grey areas, and activities which may involve classifiable directives which authorise normally illegal activities, which to a individual (potential whistle blower) without the need to know, would possibly be considered a worth while topic to be released since it would be illegal in normal circumstances. The current processes for whistle blowers isn't effective, and frankly no intelligence services wants to hang out its dirty laundry in the public arena do they regardless of whether it is justified or not.

The corruption and lies are at record high levels it's obvious when this kind of stuff happens, sooner or later this kind of play is going to have a big price!
I think that if this kind of behavior will continue - playing around with nuclear weapons and human life - the people will end up retaliating against every single individual with a democratic responsibility allowing this to continue. This is simply not OK, you cannot play the game of life like this and expect the people not to react, it just does not work like that. OBAMA WAKE UP YOU ARE SLEEPING!

I am afraid it does, this, 'system', that we find ourselves in. This is exactly how it works, but............... give someone enough time, give them enough to become angry, give them enough to ab-so-lutely say, "enough" and maybe, just maybe, we stand a chance.
Regards.

You know, in many countries people are literally starving to death and yet, there is no revolution - and Ptb knows it. The last revolution there was that was nailed in the butt may have been Allende in Chile in the 70's, with a socialist govenment duly elected that was crushed.
THe solution, weaken the brains and the bodies, enough to have people who can't think critically and cannot react physically.
Well, I think that today I am depressed, lol. I should wait to write another day!

the more complicated a system becomes, the less likely escape becomes,
without the collapse of the system.
i wonder who really wants collapse, us or them.
we just want peace, generally
