View Full Version : 3 BOOKS TO GIVE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS (A time capsule Project)

Hi Avaloners,
I am trying to collect 3 books that definitely will teach our future generations about the time we are living in, the idea will be to purchase those 3 books that will come out from your votes and I will put it in a time capsule and buried it on an undisclosed location for the future people on this planet know the truth about our times.
So, I would like to kindly ask you to name 3 books that you think it is a MUST to be on this capsule. Here are 2 considerations to have in mind as rule:
1) Religion books are OUT (Bibles, Koran , Buddhism scriptures ...) the reason is because those books are not from our time (it was not written by someone in our time) and it does not reflect our times.
2) Think about 3 books that defines our times but it is not misleading of it. No novels please, I am looking for books that will allow someone in the future to have a concrete idea of the real reality we faced in (all we have learned from Avalon so far allows us to have a good sense of the real reality around us right?) so when the history be re-written in the future, these future people who find the capsule can know at 100% how the history was manipulated. Think about "The Book of Enoch" of our times (but again without religion focus)
So, please answer this thread like :ear::
1) Book 1 Title & Author (Your Best choice :first:)
2) Book 2 Title & Author (Your 2nd choice :second:)
3) Book 3 Title & Author (Your 3rd choice :third:)
I will count the 3 books that appears more often and let you guys know later about the capsule project.
Thanks all in advance

How about a scrapbook of articles from around the world, of disclosures or revealings we've learned. Some MSM only when they've prosecuted or an ending to the situations we face has faced justice. If perps haven't been prosecuted, it stands to reason that they'll pop up some time in the future by hiding in some crack or crevasse. Let's hope not, but forewarn future people of the names, secret societies, military rogue corporations and expansion of a facist worldwide government. Also put what we as a conscious group of humans, can view the articles or video. You know with the scan disks as small as they are with gigs and more gigs, a whole library of information, can't be put in that capsule to help.

I have considered USBs , SD disks and other tech stuff before but I have realised that it may not be very reliable as it will depend on a technology that might be wipe out in 100 to 200 years ... A book is tech-free and perhaps it is a better gift (just like a volume from Alexandria library would be nowadays)

Idea is good. But the capsule has to be placed on land where there is not a risk of submersion in water or sinking in the ocean (we have not recover most Atlantean artifacts)
One book of David Icke, because not only does it describe part of the manipulation, but also it may give clues to those still Under some of these spells in 100s of years. Which one? up to you.
1984 could be an idea. Although it reads as a novel.
A collection or article on the surveillance state.
Ouf, I should read more!!!

Interesting post!
One factor to think of is how do you want to influence future generations?
So with the above in mind:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
One book showing the pitfalls and dangers of power and just how devious controllers (PTW) can be! Be aware and don't go down this path again!
If DVD's had been an option I would have added "From JFK to 9/11 The Rich Mans Trick"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
One book showing future generations how to be Spiritual or technical and or like Avalon Spiritual/technologically savvy and the benefits of!
(If you want to technically influence the future a book showing 'Building-Plans' for 'Free-Energy'. Said book would also have to start with basics of material making etc 0;0 Said technical book could also give details of our ideas/understanding of our universe/universes (Electro/magnetic/plasmic) might be of use!)
How to be "Awake and not a Sheep"
So if a technical book to be added I would add a concise Alternative-Encyclopaedia!
Technical book should also contain ways to filter water and produce good foods!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
One book showing the pitfalls of a monetary system and so promoting barter and service to each other, you can still achieve great tasks and feats and so civilisation!
So the OP question is so large, it will be interesting to see the end result and arguments along the way ;)

There is a thread here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?32471-What-books-have-expanded-your-consciousness-changed-how-you-experience-the-world&highlight=books) which discusses this topic and another excellent thread here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?1630-Top-5-Books-that-have-Impacted-you-the-most&highlight=books) which does the same thing. Or this one (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?8648-What-books-are-important-reads&highlight=books)
maybe the moderators could link these threads.

Good post to find good books ;)
Adding the observation about 'Electronic-data-storage' as being of not much use for future generations (can be erased to easily and needs complex tech to view it) Just shows how little of our knowledge would be passed on after some sort of 'Global-reset-event' as we have observed with our Pre-history/s. I think we all need to take 'Stone-carving-Lessons' get get chiseling ;)

I have searched for some books on this list and I was amazed on the prices asked by Amazon, eBay and other bookstores online, for example: The Ring Makers of Saturn by Norman Bergrun ... sells for 850 USD at Amazon ! Amazing I think there is a conspiracy going on on some books values, is it in order to stop us to acquire them for the future ?.:wizard:

I think those high prices for rare books are an artifact of the marketplace and not deliberate.
That is, the original 1986 print edition of “Ringmakers”, for instance, was probably a relatively small press run, perhaps fewer than 1,000 copies. Of the 1,000, probably 500+ copies have been destroyed, lost, trashed over the past 30 years. Most of the remaining are in private collections somewhere and only a handful ever come onto the open market. Hence the high price, since the book is still in demand.
At the same time, its publisher, Pentland Press is no longer in business. And the book’s author is likely dead, but his estate still owns the copyright for 50 years, so no one else may publish another edition, say, in paperback or by Kindle anytime soon.
And unless someone who owns or purchases the book’s copyright takes the initiative to publish a less-expensive edition, we’re stuck with this situation. That’s the problem with books.
Sorry for the digression. Back to this fascinating topic.
Books that describe the present situation with any clarity are a bit thin on the ground. Some of the best are actually novels or films. Nevertheless, as nonfiction:
I would nominate:
1. “UFO’s and the National Security State: Chronology of a Coverup” (2 Volumes) by Richard Dolan.
2. “Confessions of an Economic Hitman” by John Perkins. How the IMF steals countries for the banksters.
3. “The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine” by Michael Lewis. Inside the financial implosion of 2008.
In fact, almost anything by these authors is worthy of consideration.
Cheers,

Awesome choices, I'd expect a few George Orwells, and a bit of biblical stuff, but these are current to our situation and are most pertinent to 'deactivate' in the realms of possibility! Let's kick those 'nether regions' where it hurts, as we are not clueless any more. Get the words out!

1) A modern history book -- demonstrates how we look at the past and by extension look at our own place in time right now.
2) A book "debunking" new energy systems and endorsing oil and gas for fuel -- will show how limited our energy systems were and how close-minded society was towards advancing in this regard.
3) A book documenting all the changes that have taken place in daily life since the early 1990's, compared to, say, the 1950's, just because of electronics revolutions and the Internet, cellphones, GPS, etc.
