Because the media is owned by those who have shares in pharma. But....if you put it on yahoo blogs, twitter, fb and huffpo and news max, there's a very very good chance that it could finally get through their heads, why parents are concerned and will fight for their children's mental health even if America chooses not to. Wasn't there a story about .... some US govt body... funding the use of social media
to 'manipulate' public opinion?
That they were going to use fake accounts on facebook,
my space, twitter, etc. etc. to "drive" public opinion.

The accounts reacting ferociously to anti-vaccine advocates may very well be fake.

There's no guarantee, for example, that anti-russian sentiments expressed on
the internet belong to real people. There's a new 'cold-war' against russia
because the russians stopped using the dollar for international trade.

There's no guarantee that pro-zionist views aren't the result of 'zionist-bots'
So even after Israeli slaughters thousands of Palestinian women and children
(in 2014). You still get stunningly idiotic remarks like:
"Israel has a right to defend herself" and "they were all Palestinian terrorists"
You need an IQ in the lower 10% of the distribution to fail to see the irony.

The game is to influence the mass of the people via their tendency to
conform and follow along like sheep.

You have your own inner sense of what's right and wrong....
it's much better guide than 'apparent' public opinion.

That's a great and very important comment Lucidity. Public opinion has been professionally manipulated for many decades. I'd say it's worked really well, too. We have far surpassed many water marks that would have sparked revolution in days past in ours and most other countries. Our elections are no different than these fake public opinion polls and fake commenters. I remember people saying "How could so many people be so stupid to elect GW Bush...a second time??" when the election results were fake and the coverage was fake...and, therefore, the opinions and emotions generated weren't real.
That's why I love this vaccine database of published papers. It's the kind of ammunition we need to keep blowing holes through the various compartments of the fake reality control matrix.

Facebook is crawling with shills, unlike here on Avalon there is no screening process, any idiot can open an account and start collecting a paycheck to screw over their fellow man or undermine a popular figure or idea, or push a false scientific agenda, I was really offended by a YouTube advertisement with all these quasi celebrity type characters spewing how they had given their children vaccines...

The whole problem as usual gets down to people willing to trust those in authorities, who see no evil, and those of us asking why are thousands of babies dying, why is autism skyrocketing, why are children suffering from obesity, and diabetes before even reaching puberty, why is the US spending trillions on health care and yet still have the highest rates of stroke, heart attack, dementia, parkinson's, fibromyalgia, etc, etc, ad nauseum...

The very fact that they would use emotional based strategies is a good sign, that means they know they are losing the war on the scientific front... now we have to re-assess our scientific warriors like Mercola and Null and Health Ranger and get them to analyze and attack on this front as well... something that exposes their fraud and drives home our message... and so it goes...

Lucidity, I remember something like that, too, about government using social media for propaganda. Apparently it's really working.

Unfortunately, this pro-vaccine thing seems to be almost across the board with my progressive friends, agencies, and leaders. The propaganda has laid a strong foundation, and I never saw anything like this coming. I would expect Elizabeth Warren to be pro-human race enough not to pimp vaccines, but she did. So did Thom Hartmann and Bobby Kennedy, JR, himself, although he could hardly choke out the words.

Having been called anti-science by numerous friends, I posted to Facebook mpennery's excellent and persuasive link from above. People didn't even read it -- just started right out calling me anti-science. I pointed out that they themselves are ignoring science, because the post was nothing but scientific studies. These people were totally offended, but they sure didn't take the time to read any of it.

These are people who have been capable of plenty of critical thinking, but in this case they won't budge.
