Joe Simonton shows the place where he says a flying saucer landed in front of his house in 1961. Mr. Simonton shares his experience of an encounter with 5 foot tall aliens on the UFO. He says that he gave the alien some water to drink after it held out a jug and motioned like it wanted a drink. He shows a piece of a very thin pancake which he says one of the aliens was frying on a special hot surface. He comments that he ate one of the pancakes and they tasted like cardboard, which he notes may explain the small size of the aliens. USAF Major Quintanilla speaks regarding Mr. Simonton's case. He says the Air Force cannot comment on the veracity of Mr. Simonton's claims, but that the pancakes were analyzed by food and drug people and found to be pure buckwheat pancakes.

To me it was rather need to get the sample of water for tests than feeling thirsty. But if he is telling the truth about them making pancakes then they should come more often and learn to make food with taste;).

Way too creepy there, and even stranger, looks like "popular media" resuscitated the rumor (perhaps more than a grain of truth here lol) in recent times; Hellboy stories by Mike Mignola OFTEN feature ETs... hmmm..

Everything on earth is unique...mostly because of the density of its resources as a whole.

Jacques Vallee in "Passport to Magnolia" mentions a similar story. I couldn't find the specific details in my e-book copy so this is what I remember from reading the book several years ago:
A shepherd or farmer (somewhere in Western Europe) is startled when an unknown type of vehicle lands near him. An occupant ( around five feet tall approx., dark-complexioned, wearing dark pants with a vertical stripe) approaches him and using sign language seems to be asking for water. When the peasant gives him some, the visitor reciprocates by offering him an oatcake which he eats and finds quite tasty.
Jacques Vallee comments that accounts of a stranger offering oatcakes is also found in faery lore.

and then few years later the "Space cake" is born in Amsterdan....

The water is unique on earth because of it's "heaviness" scientists have said ... which seems to support the "density" perspective.

Of course the ETs may have made the pancakes out of grains they had harvested on Earth. Otherwise how would they know they were OK for him to eat?
