Not just the interview, but the whole experience. Doug is no crack pot. I believe he saw something. It is very interesting that the craft was so big. I have heard people explain how colorful and iridescent they are, but never that large and low to the ground. The fact that he shot at it with a gun made no difference. I was sure some sort of vibratory reaction or color change would have taken place.
Doug did explain some history of the area that was interesting. It is a high desert. Where he saw the ship was just west of Carlsbad. This area is known for some of the longest and largest underground caverns in the world. Happy valley is about 3 miles from town. Perhaps the ship was came out from the ground unassuming of Doug and Conrad.
