Interview starts aprox 37 mins.........I have not heard from the 'mole' for a while
and when I found this interview I thought , I would annoy myself by listening to his
usual waffling about nothing and he did not disappoint. He actually starts off by
commenting about having his 'MOD hat on'....LOL

Why this bugs me, is the access he was given from the start to the media and
admits he could not say anything secret because of his security oath which he is
still bound by.

The only positive thing is that it has put the fact there was UFO desk , which Nick
says has closed but that's only the PR dept , not the actual interest in UFO's.

Jimmy you fell in the trap by asking about his other case the RAF Cosford incident.
All jimmy got was another Nick 'waffle' . He has talked about it on camera
and in presentations before and its his 'secondry' validation case when he
first came out if the MOD filing cabinet.....

He said he was in charge in security and when he signed off he had a reminder
that his security oath lasts for life . Nick has said this before he cannot divulge
any classified information as he would be arrested. He even says people think
he is working for the MOD and when as he says when he was on the BBC he
is an official spokesman for the MOD by definition of his security oath.

To gain some credibility on the UFO circuit , thus giving him the access to
get on to most UFO mainstream news programmes and the many documentaries
he has appeared on . He needed a signature case, which is the Rendlesham Forrest
incident that was in the public domain well before he came on the scene.Other than
that I have not heard him comment on many other cases he must of come across.
He says in the above interview that he did not believe in the Ancient Alien theory,
and subjects like 9/11 or any other related alternate articles , he tows the
mainstream political line and is as he has said himself he is a sceptic on most

Nick Pope is a British government official who has worked at the Ministry of Defence
since joining in 1985. He had many different postings and had undertaken a series
of jobs within the Department, including work in the Joint Operations Centre during
the Gulf War, where he was a briefer in the Air Force Operations Room.

When Jimmy asks if the Royal family knows about UFO ? Nick says
he cannot comment . Jimmy then asks jokingly is the Queen a reptile

As I said earlier and Nick himself says he is a sceptic on most aspects

material already declassified . So if he found out
anything classified about the Rendlesham case he
would not add it to what is already known,

It sounds to me he is undercover to report back

project. He says all his books have to be examined
by the MOD before publishing, which is routine.

To be fair Nick does not hide the fact that he is a sceptic and say he is ' agent
Scully' in the X files comparison. In the the interview with Jimmy he says the best
place to hide a book is in a library.Basically saying the best place to hide
mole/plant/spy is in plain site . All the major conspiracy issues he tows the
government line and is a 'Yes Minister man to the core'.

Again this is fine and everyones entitled to their views and opinions , yet he is
treated and invited as guest speaker at these events with basically nothing new to
say on top of his opening MOD briefing dossier about Rendlesham Forrest and how
its his job to monitor any new evidence from the UFO sources and report back to

Edward Snowdens , as he says he does not believe in whistleblowers in national

Is this an unfair accessement ? not judging by the amount of " No Comments"

As a broadcaster and writer well-known for his media interviews and articles on conspiracy theories, Nick Pope is often asked about the assassination of JFK. In the run-up to the 50th anniversary of JFK's death, Nick Pope's position statement on the issue is as follows:

The assassination of JFK was a defining moment in American history and marked the birth of the modern conspiracy theory era. The Warren Commission, set up to investigate the killing, concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald killed the President and that he acted alone. The evidence was overwhelming, in particular, the so-called "backyard photos", which showed Oswald posing with the murder weapon. Even the House Select Committee on Assassinations (which did later support the idea of a conspiracy - albeit on dubious evidence) concluded that the photos were genuine, as did Oswald's wife, who took them. However, almost immediately, some people began to question the official version of events.

The Warren Commission was not without its flaws (exactly the same can be said of the 9/11 Commission), but this does not render their fundamental findings unsound. Aprox 101 mins in they are talking that the Soviets were looking into
energy directed weapons , and other stuff. Nick says he cannot go
into details from other sources. This is where he say his hiding a
book in a library quote. Nick knows a lot more than he will disclose

does occur to me that Mr Pope shouldn't really be talking about this, so soon after his

He is basically a MOD yes man to the core. His comments about other issues like JFK have come about in answer of
the more and more people seeing thru his agenda , which is not difficult after you have heard him speak a few times.
I noticed this years ago when I first heard him at one of the UFO conferences , this would of been after I had the
net and finding project Camelot around circa 2006/7 . The comments from Gary Heseltine in the interview above
sum him up quite well. Gary also mentioned the BBC interview above and it all ties in with intelligence operation
to monitor the Rendlesham disclosure . This is Nicks signature case and free ticket to infiltrate the UFO circuit,

British MoD Still With-Holding Secret UFO Documents

‘The British Ministry of Defense is still withholding high-level UFO public
policy papers, along with other key information, despite the public stance
that all material has been transferred to the National Archives, according
to John F. Burroughs, a retired USAF security officer. Burroughs, 54, was
stationed at RAF Bentwaters in 1980 and witnessed one of the most
significant UFO events in English history.’


According to Burroughs, the MOD commissioned a Top Secret Technical
Memorandum 55/2/00 in 2000, which was intended to provide the pretext
for closing down the MOD UFO desk. That Memorandum included a Key
Recommendation that "It should no longer be a requirement for DI55 to
monitor UAP reports as they do not demonstrably provide information
useful to Defense Intelligence."

Subsequent to the internal release of the Technical Memorandum, the UK
MOD shut down the public UFO (UAP) reporting desk and began a process
of transferring all of the UFO reports to the British National Archives.

According to the National Archives web page dated 21 June 2013 they stated
they had today released its tenth and final tranche of UFO files, containing
4,400 pages of UFO policy, correspondence and UFO sighting reports covering
the final two years of the Ministry of Defence's UFO Desk (from late 2007
until November 2009).

The files reveal for the first time the reasons behind the closure of the UFO
Desk and how sightings had become a social phenomenon making tabloid
headlines and sparking a disclosure campaign for 'the truth'.

Dr. David Clarke, author of the book 'The UFO Files', said: 'The last pieces of
the puzzle have finally been revealed with this insight into the last days of the
UFO Desk. These files spell out clearly why the Ministry of Defense decided -
after 60 years - it no longer needed to keep tabs on sightings, even those
made by 'credible' people such as police officers and pilots. The last files from
the UFO desk are now all in the public domain. People at home can read them
and draw their own conclusions about whether 'the truth' is in these files or
still out there.'

This seeming act of transparency was apparently a ruse, as FOIA requests by
Burroughs have revealed two further versions of the truth.

In an initial response the MOD admitted the existence of 6 crucial UFO/UAP
public policy papers which have NOT been released. According to that version
UFO/UAP Policy papers dating from 1971 through 2004 have been held back.
These papers contain the MOD public information policy for over three decades,
including a change from the use of the term 'UFO' to 'UAP', in June of 2000.

Burroughs feels this change was an attempt to conceal MOD information on the
UFO issue from June, 2000 onward by referring to the phenomenon in question
as Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, (UAP) rather than the well-understood
"Unidentified Flying Object" (UFO). The change would allow the MOD to make
the claim that no further information on the UFO is being held, while maintaining
information on the UAP.

In response to a follow-up FOIA request, the MOD revised its position to say that
they were still maintaining 18 UFO documents as classified.

The MOD said that the documents were being 'prepared' for public release -- meaning
reviewed for material that should remain redacted -- at a later date. When Burroughs
submitted a request for early release of the classified documents, the MOD declined,
claiming that doing so would 'delay the planned public release" of the material.

"This makes little sense to me," Burroughs said, "as releasing them to me would
accelerate access to the information contained, not delay it. The MOD is clearly
dragging its feet on full disclosure, while presenting the illusion to the public that
it has already happened."

Nick Pope, Co-Author of the book Encounter in Rendlesham Forest with James
Penniston and Burroughs, and former Directorate of Defense Security, Ministry
of Defense who's gone on record saying Rendlesham might be the turning point
in history that leads to the explanation of the UFO phenomenon" stated this when
he learned of Burroughs FOIA discovery.

"I knew for sure that not everything had been released, because by the MOD's own
admission, some files/documents had been lost, some destroyed, some redacted and
some withheld altogether. Also, material where the information owner is a defense
contractor (e.g. some of the Project Condign working papers) is exempt from disclosure
altogether, as private companies are outside the scope of the Freedom of Information
Act". The bottom line is this: whether it's exempt from the FOIA entirely,
withheld/redacted under exemptions to the FOIA, destroyed or lost, some material on
Project Condign and on the Rendlesham Forest incident has yet to emerge, and some
may never come to light”.

Burroughs will be presenting the results of his active FOIA request program and his
analysis of MOD Technical Memorandum 55/2/00 at the Woodbridge Community hall
Station Rd Woodbridge Suffolk IP12 4AU on Saturday September, 20th at 7:00pm.
Also appearing with Burroughs will be Richard Dolan, Larry Warren and Gary Heseltine.

According to Burroughs, the significance of the contents of the Memo 55/2/00 has long
been overlooked by the research community because it was deliberately obtuse in nature.
The Memo is technically complicated and the writing was adroit in the process of stating
key facts while presenting a facade that the phenomenon under study was one of several
forms of rare, but naturally occurring weather aberration.

"You have to know what you are looking for," Burroughs said, and understand what is
actually being stated. The memorandum is a masterpiece of bureaucratic double-speak."

Among other points Burroughs will cover in his talk are the fact that there is an international
race to weaponize the technology employed by the phenomenon.

According to Burroughs, "The memo states clearly that 'Russian, Former Soviet Republics and
Chinese authorities have made a co-ordinated effort to understand the UAP topic.' and that high
level scientists, astronauts and senior pilots have been appointed to study groups."

The most significant accomplishment Burroughs has made to date is to correlate the described
characteristics of the 'true phenomenon', as he puts it, under study by the MOD, with a 2003
paper by Jaques Vallee and Eric Davis and a 2010 paper printed in the Journal of British
Interplanetary Science by Hal Puthoff.

Puthoff's paper, published a decade after the MOD memo, describes a theoretical propulsion
system for interstellar travel, based on the Alcubierre 'warp drive' concept.

"It boils down to this:" Burroughs stated, "Puthoff's predictions for effects of a drive capable
of interstellar travel match the effects of the UFO Phenomenon noted by Vallee/Davis and they
match the effects described by the MOD of the UAP Phenomenon under study." "Most significantly,
the predicted effects of the theoretical interstellar drive on humans in close proximity match those
of the MOD - which could not have known of Puthoff's theory at the time of the writing -- and they
match the symptoms I exhibit from a close encounter with the phenomenon while on duty at Bentwaters."

"I am convinced that this is the reason the DOD has classified my medical records and attempted
to doctor my Service Record to show I was not in service at the time, to allow the VA to deny me
benefits, but more importantly, keep the medical information about my condition a Classified secret.

The interviewer also misinterprets Gary's possible deal early on , and that
the US would not put the plea deal in writing. Nick points out that Gary
was probably singled out as a deterrent to other hackers in the mainstream
Nick goes onto say that this does not effect the US/UK special relationship
as we are linked intelligence and military wise, this interview is pre Snowden
and we knew before and has been confirmed GCHQ is a hub for intel for
several NATO countries.


The interviewer was not very good unfortunately, other to reinforce Nick
is certainly not a 'disclosure truth seeker' just a MOD intelligence plant.
Neither of them could have re watched Gary's interviews before the show and

Gary watched the 2001 Disclosure Project National Press Club conference
testimonies and decided to look for the evidence himself. He claimed the
administrator passwords on most of the computers were unset making it

There are various types of researchers and whistleblowers , Richard D Hall
is one of the genuine ones imo , I do not agree with all his conclusions,
but he is willing to put ideas forward and challenge others in a constructive
way. Of course much is speculation but educated and if you follow the
sources they make sense in many cases.

Thanks limor two very good segments , and in the 45 -48 seg
he is saying exactly what I'm trying to make everyone see.
There is probably several intel agents in the disclosure field and
most of the main researchers have been accused of this including
our own Bill and Kerry , and some are probably genuine. The thing
with Nick Pope it is so obvious and he has monopolised the news
reports and been on all the TV docs in the last few years.

As I also say Nick does not deny it and the Fade to Black interview

My main gripe with Nick as a 'gate keeper' he knows more than he is
prepared to disclose until he is allowed to. This is a interesting little
segment from a interview from 2007. When George asks him if
he is able to discuss what he knew ? Nick says only what has been
declassified of course....This is my problem with him and he has
never denied it that his disclosure is selective and authorised
either by his employers or self censorship. Unless he has changed
recently.

Meaning for me he is paralleling/monitoring official disclosure , never
really disclosing anything that has not been fed to him.

Its like he is a Trojan horse put into the UFO community to act as a
conduit between the intel agencies and the public so that being an
ex MOD employee it gives them the perfect spy hidden in plain sight
which as we have seen the mainstream media go to first for limited
information from Nick whatever the event. Yes he does drop bread
crumbs and his work on Rendlesham could be looked as keeping an

For sure, Pope is saying only what the government lets him say. But his admitting to spinning stories is interesting....if I have that right. Either this is part of a greater disclosure agenda or it is a limited hangout....as in, it is meant to give the impression that he is no longer spinning.

I must admit, I feel kind of bad for him as lately he looks rather ill. Maybe it's just age. Does anyone else get that impression?

Nick has been involved in many UFO shows and documentaries and in this latest
one UFO's The Lost Evidence Nick does come over as more positive and he makes
good comments on the cases discussed but he still not pro active only reactive
considering his position. Though credit where credit is due , I wonder if/when
