Last night I went to bed with a blanket I had just pulled out of the dryer and don't remember falling asleep. I woke up the next morning to find that blanket thrown across the floor and a different blanket on top of myself. I don't sleep walk so I don't think that is the case. Also later in the day I found a long piece of blond hair with even fluctuations and a pattern of blonde and silver color in my underpants (sorry for the absurdity of what I just said but I needed to share.) I have no idea how this hair could have gotten there as I haven't had (for lack of a better explanation) an experience where a hair like this could have gotten there. Nor could it have gotten there from any other means as these garments were freshly washed and no one in my household has long enough hair for this occurrence to be a result of the laundry machines and etc.. I'm just curious as to whether or not anyone else or any abductees have had an experience like this. Any insight is welcomed. After I discovered the hair I was plagued with a melancholy feeling and the thought of possible abduction has been hanging over my consciousness all night. Thanks for any reply as I am totally confused by this experience and would like any input.

Hi there! and sorry to hear you had an odd experience. I've had a lot of those weird moments near/around sleep. Some of them remained mysteries for many years but as some were witnessed by multiple people, I've wondered about faeries.

Dryads, Nymphs and Other Faery Folk.

Nymphs
Tales of Nymphs in Greek mythology and religion abound, there were revered as the spirits of specific natural features - and often were identified with the part of nature in which they dwelled, The Oreads, were mountain nymphs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incubus

An incubus is a demon in male form who, according to mythological and legendary traditions, lies upon sleepers, especially women, in order to engage in sexual activity with them. Its female counterpart is the succubus. An incubus may pursue sexual relations with a woman in order to father a child, as in the legend of Merlin.[1] Religious tradition holds that repeated sexual activity with an incubus or succubus may result in the deterioration of health, or even death.[2]

...some people even believe that an incubus has to rob one person to supply another, if you get my meaning.

I would recommend exercising enough to go to bed tired (no energy left to share w/ anyone), not drinking any alcohol for a while (!!!) (some spirits fixate on this according to some folks),
and maybe looking into some rituals or furniture arrangements that block negative energy and welcome good energy.

I think native americans had a lot of dream lore and remedies for bad dreams.
If it wasn't a negative entity perhaps it was just scared.

Maybe the person who shed the hair was stressed out and having it close to you caused a quantum effect while you slept,
temporarily you experienced some of the stress of this person -- a possibility :)

in LOTR hair had some power (didn''t one of the dwarves save a hair from Galadriel?)

In the Fellowship of the Ring Gimli asks Lady Galadriel for a single strand of her hair. She then honors him with three. The surrounding elves seem very astonished by the gift she bestowed upon Gimli.May 26, 2014google fact

If you’ve read the Silmarillion, you know who Fëanor was. If you don’t, Fëanor was the dickhead who created the Silmarils: three indescribably beautiful and magical jewels that contained the light and essence of the world before it became flawed. They were the catatlyst for basically every important thing that happened in the First Age of Middle Earth.

It is thought that the inspiration for the Silmarils came to Fëanor from the sight of Galadriel’s shining, silver-gold hair.

He begged her three times for single strand of her beautiful hair. And every time, Galadriel refused him. Even when she was young, Galadriel’s ability to see into other’s hearts was very strong, and she knew that Fëanor was filled with nothing but fire and greed.

Fast forward to the end of the Third Age.

Gimli, visiting Lorien, is also struck by Galadriel’s beauty. During the scene where she’s passing out her parting gifts to the Fellowship, Galadriel stops empty-handed in front of Gimli, because she doesn’t know what to offer a Dwarf. Gimli tells her: no gold, no treasure… just a single strand of hair to remember her beauty by.

She gives him three. Three.

And this is why Gimli gets to be an Elf Friend, people. Because Galadriel looks at him and thinks he deserves what she refused the greatest Elf who ever lived—- and then twice* that. And because he has no idea of the significance of what she’s just given him, but he’s going to treasure it the rest of his life anyway.

Just look at that smile on Legolas’s face in the last panel. He gets it. He knows the backstory. And I’m pretty sure this is the moment he reconsiders whether Elves and Dwarves can’t be friends after all.http://scifi.stackexchange.com/questions/27210/is-there-a-hidden-significance-behind-the-fact-galadriel-gave-3-hairs-to-gimli-i [ source: http://i.imgur.com/rVwq6.png ]

http://www.councilofelrond.com/content/tolkiens-catholic-inspiration-for-galadriel/

Tolkien’s Catholic Inspiration for Galadriel
When one considers J.R.R. Tolkien’s sources for ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and its accompanying mythology, one must not neglect to examine Tolkien’s Catholic faith.

First, Mary is often portrayed in much the same way as Galadriel: ethereal, bathed in light, gentle, beautiful, and inspiring. Each is viewed as a “queen”: Mary as Queen of the Catholic Church and Galadriel as the Lady of Lothlorien. Much as Galadriel is held in reverence by the Elves and the other inhabitants of Middle-earth, Mary is beloved by Catholics. Many in the history of the Catholic Church have been converted and reconciled through Mary’s grace and gentleness. In the same way, Gimli, a Dwarf, a race that does not get along with the Elves, has a change of heart after meeting Galadriel. Tolkien wrote:

“And the dwarf . . . looked up and met her eyes; and it seemed to him that he looked into the heart of an enemy and saw there love and understanding. Wonder came into his face and he smiled in answer” (LOTR).

Gimli is thereafter known as Gimli Elf-Friend. The light of Galadriel inspires grace, just as Mary does.

and in the Bible hair has some power (samson lost his strength when hair cut off lol)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samson

Samson (/ˈsæmsən/; Hebrew: שִׁמְשׁוֹן, Modern Shimshon, Tiberian Šimšôn, meaning "man of the sun"),[1] Shamshoun (Arabic: شمشون‎ Shamshūn/Šamšūn), or Sampson (Greek: Σαμψών), is one of the last of the judges of the ancient Israelites mentioned in the Hebrew Bible (Book of Judges chapters 13 to 16).

According to the biblical account, Samson was given supernatural strength by God in order to combat his enemies and perform heroic feats[2] such as killing a lion, slaying an entire army with only the jawbone of an ass, and destroying a pagan temple. Samson had two vulnerabilities, however: his attraction to untrustworthy women and his hair, without which he was powerless. These vulnerabilities ultimately proved fatal for him.

Samson is believed by Jews and Christians to have been buried in Tel Tzora in Israel overlooking the Sorek valley. There reside two large gravestones of Samson and his father Manoah. Nearby stands Manoah’s altar (Judges 13:19–24).[3] It is located between the cities of Zorah and Eshtaol.

could be something very important about hair, lmao

in Greek myths there were also the Graces or the Charites, it's not beyond reason that these can visit people, lol,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charites

In Greek mythology, a Charis (/ˈkeɪrɪs/; Greek: Χάρις, pronounced [kʰáris]) or Grace is one of three or more minor goddesses of charm, beauty, nature, human creativity, and fertility, together known as the Charites /ˈkærɨtiːz/ (Χάριτες [kʰáritɛːs]) or Graces. The usual list, from youngest to oldest is Aglaea ("Splendor"), Euphrosyne ("Mirth"), and Thalia ("Good Cheer"). In Roman mythology they were known as the Gratiae, the "Graces". In some variants, Charis was one of the Graces and was not the singular form of their name.

The Charites were usually considered the daughters of Zeus and Eurynome, though they were also said to be daughters of Dionysus and Aphrodite or of Helios and the naiad Aegle. Other possible names of their mother by Zeus are Eurydome, Eurymedousa, and Euanthe.[1] Homer wrote that they were part of the retinue of Aphrodite. The Charites were also associated with the Greek underworld and the Eleusinian Mysteries.

The river Cephissus near Delphi was sacred to them.

didnt ya say the clothes had just been washed?
interesting stuff here lol.

:)

Although the Graces usually numbered three, according to the Spartans, Cleta, not Thalia, was the third, and other Graces are sometimes mentioned, including Auxo, Hegemone, Peitho, Phaenna, Pasithea and Charis or Cale. An ancient vase painting attests the following names as five: Antheia ("Blossoms"), Eudaimonia ("Happiness"), Paidia ("Play"), Pandaisia ("Banquet"), Pannychis ("Night Festivities") - all referring to the Charites as patronesses of amusement and festivities.

Pausanias interrupts his Description of Greece (book 9.xxxv.1–7) to expand upon the various conceptions of the Graces that had developed in different parts of mainland Greece and Ionia:

"The Boeotians say that Eteocles was the first man to sacrifice to the Graces. Moreover, they are aware that he established three as the number of the Graces, but they have no tradition of the names he gave them. The Lacedaemonians, however, say that the Graces are two, and that they were instituted by Lacedaemon, son of Taygete, who gave them the names of Cleta ("Sound" or "Renowned") and Phaenna (“Light” or “Bright”). These are appropriate names for Graces, as are those given by the Athenians, who from of old have worshipped two Graces, Auxo ("Increase" or "Growth") and Hegemone ("Leader" or "Queen"), until Hermesianax added Peitho ("Persuasion") as a third.[2] It was from Eteocles of Orchomenus that we learned the custom of praying to three Graces. And Angelion and Tectaus, sons of Dionysus, who made the image of Apollo for the Delians, set three Graces in his hand. Again, at Athens, before the entrance to the Acropolis, the Graces are three in number; by their side are celebrated mysteries which must not be divulged to the many. Pamphos (Πάμφως or Πάμφος) was the first we know of to sing about the Graces, but his poetry contains no information either as to their number or about their names. Homer (he too refers to the Graces) makes one the wife of Hephaestus, giving her the name of Charis ("Grace"). He also says that Sleep was a lover of Pasithea ("Hallucination"), and in the speech of Sleep there is this verse:--
Verily that he would give me one of the younger Graces.
"Hence some have suspected that Homer knew of older Graces as well. Hesiod in the Theogony (though the authorship is doubtful, this poem is good evidence) says that the three Graces are daughters of Zeus and Eurynome, giving them the names of Aglaia, Euphrosyne and lovely Thalia. The poem of Onomacritus agrees with this account. Antimachus, while giving neither the number of the Graces nor their names, says that they are daughters of Aegle and the Sun. The elegiac poet Hermesianax disagrees with his predecessors in that he makes Persuasion also one of the Graces."[3] Nonnus gives their three names as Pasithea, Peitho and Aglaia.[4][5] Sostratus gives the names as Pasithea, Cale ("Beauty") and Euphrosyne;[6][7] Pasithea for Aglaia and Cale for Thalia, Euphrosyne is unchanged.[8]

also before the crucifixion it's rumored that mary magdalene washed the clothes of Christ... :( cry

also it could have been more than just clotheswashing but that's between them. :jaw:

If I was to interpret this restless night I would say,
Fate is calling your number, trying to get your attention,
something great awaits you and is causing you a disturbance in your rest...

Last night I also had a weird dream in which I was in Romania and an old women approached me and said "I can see you believe, let me help you feel" (something along those lines.) She pulled me aside and put these light blue beads around my neck and stared at me as she lifted them up to my chin a few times. After that I was jolted with some sort of energy I had never felt before and it caused me to wake up after a few seconds and even upon awakening I felt this strange energy. Earlier that night before I fell asleep i felt aggravated that I had been devoting and investing a huge amount of thought and emotion into paranormal and supernatural research and enlightening myself with no results yielded. I don't know what to make of this other than that it was some sort of sign to keep trudging through the harsh times in hope of a better and enlightened future. Any thoughts?

The dream about the woman in black and the blue beads is extremely interesting!!!

In 2011 IIRC, my spouse had a dream about "women in black" (kinda like your Romanian lady!) on a train,
this was the night before he and I were supposed to see a Jungian analyst together about some problems I'd been having.
You can imagine the shock when the other member of the marriage had the bizarre dream before visiting the dream analyst.
What really sucked was that the guy didn't want to hear the dream! OMG. He thought there were more important things to talk about.
i think Jung would have slapped him...

In my husband's dream the women told him "She's one of us" over and over.

Some months later I had a similar dream, where the women in black invited into a house to eat dinner with them downstairs.
They told us it was a "safe people for people who shared our ideas" or something like that,

it was SO WEIRD, but these people wanted us to have a sense of resting along with the journey it seemed,
altho we were traveling in the dreams we were also at rest.

Dreams are so weird Kbrammmcdonald :)

the fairy story I mentioned, you might not believe me, but it had witnesses,
my cousin from Maryland and I were sleeping in a guest bedroom at our grandma's place.
we were talking, giggling, trying to get ready to actually go to sleep, maybe 10 years old.

Right when we got quiet and were done talking for the night,
the Madame Alexander doll on the tall hutch across from the foot of our bed,
it's eyes lit up neon green, just like something from a horror movie.

we ran screaming to wake up the grandparents, telling them, "the doll is possessed",
and when we all turned the lights on in the bedroom, two tiny firelies were sitting on the face of the doll

they had lit up their butts exactly the same time, sitting exactly on the eyes of the dolls.

Hollywood would have paid good money to see that ****

:)

the thing about the blue beads reminds me of one of the Biblical prophets, KA
in one vision i recall one Biblical prophet's mouth was touched by a glowing coal held by a messenger angel. the coal was from the brazier in front of the throne of God.

also the color turquoise was sacred to native americans, right?
it undoubtedly has some sky-god connection and certainly a meaning in dreams.

edit: aha:

http://www.indians.org/articles/turquoise.html

Legend has it that the Native American Indians danced and rejoiced when the rains came. Their tears of joy mixed with the rain and seeped into Mother Earth to become SkyStone Turquoise.

Turquoise, the "fallen sky stone" hidden in Mother Earth, has been valued by cultures for its beauty and reputed spiritual and life-giving qualities for over 7000 years. It is a true gem of the centuries. A long time ago someone noticed a clear blue line running through gray rock, and saw the imagery of sky and water in stone, and from that time on, turquoise has been cherished above all else in creation - turquoise, stone of sky, stone of water, stone of blessings, good fortune, protection, good health and long life.

it resembled their emotions.

perhaps someone wants you to carry a message. or to protect you.

Native Americans believe that the earth is alive and that all things, no matter how small or apparently inanimate, are precious. To the Native Americans, turquoise is life. There are stones medicine men keep in their sacred bundles because they possess powers of healing. Stones and crystals have unique attributed that support and heal us. Turquoise, especially, is known for its positive healing energy, an aid in mental functions, communications and expression and as a protector. If you’re wearing a turquoise ring and you look down and see a crack in your stone, the Native Americans would say “the stone took it”, meaning the stone took the blow that you would have received.

is it ever possible for malachite to be blue?
because it's an anti black magic gem that Romanian witches use to protect children.

http://www.witchipedia.com/mineral:malachite

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4154/5195603311_b1f4bf2074.jpg

Natural History

Malachite is copper carbonate hydroxide, a very common form of opaque copper carbonate with distinctive swirls of lighter and darker green and black. It is found in Russia, the Middle East, Romania, and Zambia. The name Malachite comes from the Greek meaning mahle "green mallow plant" or possibly from the Greek word malakos meaning "soft" alluding to the fact that this is a soft mineral, easy to carve and to break.

History and Folklore

Historically, malachite has been used as the pigment in green paints and cosmetics and as the basis for carving various decorative items such as vases. It was mined as far back as 4000 BC by the ancient Egyptians. Malachite may have been one of the earliest ores from which copper was derived.

The ancient Greeks used malachite to create amulets to protect children and during the Middle Ages malachite was used in amulets to defend against black magic.

the woman may have been shielding you from the Romanian "Daochi" or evil eye. @@

Agate (blue and green) is quite common there but Romania was also full of transient peoples, which is why the Gypsies were called Rom or ROmany, although they say they came from india.

was it possible she showed you diamonds or were the gems opaque?

There was some sort of black gem surrounded by smaller gemstones at the center of the necklace
