Hey now
Let's not go jumping to any wild conclusions

Former NASCAR (National Association of Stock Car Racing) champ Kurt Busch is as of this writing in a Delaware Family Court, accused by ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll of banging her head against the wall three times. Busch has admitted to a physical altercation, and has been suspended from racing in the NASCAR series, although no criminal charges have been filed.

In court, Busch testified: "She is an expert in the use of knives and poison. She told me she was a government trained assassin. I believe her." Busch's lawyer: "She has paraded herself as having very close relationships with the military and intelligence community. She was telling these kinds of things to people who would have testified at least as far back as 2008. She would show pictures of people she had killed, she would show them scars she said she got from a drug lord she later killed, she would show them photos of dead people." A story was told about the couple staying in an El Paso, Texas hotel, where Driscoll changed into combat fatigues and left, only to return much later in a trenchcoat, wearing a blood-stained evening gown.

Although neither Driscoll nor her attorney refuted this, Driscoll did say that Busch was confusing fact and fiction: "Over the past seven years I have been working on a movie script about a female CIA operative and her work on classified missions for the US. Mr. Busch has seen and given commentary to me about the latest script, because some of the stories he told on the stand were straight from the script."

In fact, Driscoll is a defense contractor. From the website of her company, Frontline Defense Systems: "CEO Ms. Patricia Driscoll has spent the majority of her career in the narcotics and intelligence world. While working abroad, many issues came up at home that brought her to Washington DC, where over the last nine years she has developed strong relationships in the House, Senate, and the White House. Her strongest ally's (sic) are the Armed Services Committee, Appropriations, Ways and Means, the Homeland Security Committee, and the Intelligence Committee. Frontline Defense Systems is a customized services company helping to support the US government and commercial companies in the Global War on Terror."

Customized services indeed. In 2014, another NASCAR champ, Tony Stewart, was racing at a small dirt track in upstate New York, where he ran over and killed another driver. Under investigation for murder, public opinion on Stewart at the time was wildly divisive. Driscoll sent an email to Stewart's race team: "I am writing you because what little you know about me you may not know that I have a background in Psychological Operations. Part of my training and skill set is to be able to break down large issues and be able to convince large and small groups to do what you want. I've worked in countries all over the world waging not only physical wars but mental wars, and I've helped a lot of Congressmen save their jobs when they did some stupid and not so legal things. Between NYC and DC the people I know and work with have saved the reputations of a lot of high profile people from DUI's, sex scandals, DUI that led to an accident where someone was killed, corruption, drugs, prostitution, etc. This isn't the time for just in house PR, this is time for a good 10-15 heads with different backgrounds putting together a war strategy. This monster is out of control and you only have a short time to steer the ship back around."

Driscoll made a video about a proposed reality series called "Pocket Commando" (referring to her slight stature). From the video: "I am a mom, a businesswoman, a patriot, a socialite, and a whole lot of attitude. I have a reputation for being not the nicest person in the world, and I've earned it. I don't care if people hate me for who I am or what I do because I'm not going to change."

That's right, Driscoll is a mom, with a 10 year old son whom she took with her for some reason on the day of the alleged incident with Busch. As of this writing, she is engaged in another ongoing court case, a custody disagreement with her second ex-husband, former US Army member Geoffrey Hermanstorfer, also a defense contractor. Disagreements are nothing new to Driscoll; the former Mrs. Chiquito also filed criminal charges of physical abuse and placed a restraining order on her first ex-husband.

Driscoll comes from a military family, through her father's side. To a journalist, she described her grandfather as a "spy". At the age of twenty-four, she was considered experienced enough to testify in Congress about global terrorism.

Driscoll is involved in charity work for the military, and has linked NASCAR to these enterprises. One of her employees at the Armed Services Foundation, where she is president, described her as "one scary b----. You don't want to mess with Patricia. If you cross her she'll grab you by the nuts and twist them right off." The Better Business Bureau's Give.org says the AFF does not meet its charity standards.

Busch himself is a piece of work. A talented driver from Las Vegas, Nevada, he got his first break by taking over a ride from Chris Trickle, nephew of NASCAR veteran Dick Trickle. Chris was murdered while driving alone in the desert, a crime that remains unsolved to this day. The elder Trickle later took his own life in a cemetery, but that's another story. Busch has continually put himself in hot water with the press and co-workers with his mouth, actions and general anger mismanagement. Amazingly, team owner Roger Penske rewarded his driver who won a championship by firing him. Since then, Busch has gone through three teams in as many years.

Kurt Busch: "People on the outside can tell me I'm crazy, but I lived on the inside and saw it first hand."

That is a very weak rebuttal.

I had heard of this story a few months ago but was not aware of how Busch got his spot on the track. That is pretty disturbing and suspicious about the Trickle father and son.

Do you have the link to the original story?

The deaths in the Trickle family were unrelated, fifteen years apart
Edit: The correct name of Driscoll's charity is the Armed Forces Foundation
