Sorry I can't do the fancy video thing! But the song that's resonated with me over the last few years is a song called 'sirens ' by Pearl Jam, it was played at my mums funeral and holds a special place in my heart. The album it's from has interesting symbolism an eye and lightning bolt, which the album is called. Always open for discussion and by self being cynical of mainstream entertainment culture , always believe many artists are either willing subjects of a satanic cult or just trapped, either way if you've attended a pearl jam concert u can't deny it's power of positivity and life affirming nature. It's about the music, but to me there's a dark side to the music industry. Whatever side there on, sirens is a special song worth checking out. Peace:)

Here's a good blast from the past for today

Prism, Take Me To The Kaptain

Take Me To The Kaptin (1977)

The planet dies and no one cries
So hard to believe
If there was somewhere else to go
You know I'd be the first to leave

I don't mean to sound ungrateful
But I'm afraid that I just can't stay

I had a dream the other night
And as the dream unfurled
I took a trip in a rocket ship
And I found another world

They told me about their Kaptin
Then I asked him "Could I stay?"

I said: Take me to the Kaptin and tell him why I'm here
I want to stay in your world while my world disappears

Won't you take me to the Kaptin and tell him why I'm here
I want to stay in your world while my world disappears

(repeat from verse 2)(more cowbell!!!)
