Debunking the tale that a nuclear explosion has been photographed on the surface of Mars

“Images taken by Mars Colour Camera (MCC) on-board show the mysterious cloud with great clarity. The cloud is situated above the Valles Marineris Canyon. Its distinct mushroom shape and close-up views, depict what seems to be a large crater formed underneath the cloud,” writes news website DNA India.

“It’s simply like one of those magic eye picture tricks — the eye getting deceived and trying to see something where there isn’t really anything,” says astrobiologist Dr Jonathan Horner of the University of Southern Queensland.
“Fun as it would be to imagine that this is evidence of nuclear weapons on Mars, or even the impact of a chunk of Comet Siding Spring smashing into the planet, that’s sadly just not the case,” Dr Horner says.
Monash University astrophysicist Michael Brown is not impressed:
From Mars to vaccines to climate you see cranks making wild claims at odds with the data and the meticulous work of professional scientists. These claims often escalate to accusations of cover-ups and criminal activity, and unfortunately these sometimes get media coverage.
There is no mushroom cloud. The optical illusion is caused by the junction of a crater with the trench.
If you have a look at wide pictures of Mars, you can see the area of the ‘mushroom cloud’ with sunlight at a different angle, and slightly different resolution and angle — and it’s clear that the “cloud”, and “stem” are just areas of darker material on the surface. There is no conspiracy, there’s just an old crater at the end of a valley, next to terrain that shows evidence that water may once have flowed on the surface of Mars
You can see for yourself. Compare the light and dark spaces to other parts of the canyon. Illuminated cliffs, dark depths and the long shadows of mountains. The lighting is very similar. The shapes are very similar. The colours are very similar. It’s an arrangement of light and shadow which we can interpret as being a mushroom cloud.
It’s standard crank behaviour to not consider mundane scenarios (such as image contrast), to leap towards extreme conclusions (e.g., mushroom cloud rather than dust) and then make conspiratorial claims

The photo shows the result of a nuclear explosion on Mars. The explosion was not a test but was detonated in anger as an attack by Earth humans against something or someone. This is from my dowsing.

Pareidolia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia), again, in which the mind reconstructs the ground features into an inverted relief by switching the interpretation of shadows and highlights.
Careful, "zen" examination of the picture does reveal that the so-called "cloud" is indeed and in fact a deep trough (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trough_%28geology%29).
Accordingly, I added [bogus interpretation] to the title.

It's nothing other than the crater Oudemans, at the western end of the Valles Marineris, near Noctis Labyrinthum, under different lighting.

Hi Siblings,
It looks like evidence of an explosion to me.
And wasn't there some reports of mysterious 'plumes' sent 155 miles into
the atmosphere close to the south pole of Mars a few weeks back ?
Which is quite interesting given that there hasn't been any evidence of
volcanic activity on Mars for hundreds of thousands of years.
We've had Robert Lazar telling us, since 20 years ago, that the USA has
bases on the Moon and on Mars (according to briefing notes he was given)
And we've got a small array of people talking about 'jump rooms to mars'
and actual armies on Mars. At the same time we've got industrialists
talking about putting a million people on Mars in defiance of the old
propaganda that there's no breathable air on Mars. We've got people
claiming to have been to Mars and that the sky there is blue, not red
as has been claimed variously be astronomers and NASA scientists.
Time will shake the truth out of all this.
be happy
lucidity :-)
