I just barely started coming down with something. I'm trying to stay positive and not think sick. It's not easy though. I just had some ginger green tea with honey. Otherwise, I'm going to tough it out through work.

Hi Humble Janitor, try some garlic as well - the real stuff.

I read somewhere that the more you smell when you eat garlic - the more you need to eat garlic.

I would get a bottle of MMS if you don't already have one. I have reduced my symptoms of Multipe Sclerosis to almost zero and talked to a fairly new friends wife who is 83 years old and has almost stopped her Limes disease symptoms using it also. Her husband and I are members of a group that promotes organic vegetables and meat. www.WellFedNeighbor.com Lots of good info about organic and community development topics on their site. Too soon for both of us to say we cured anything but I hope we did.

I am just starting to get into the healthy living and detoxing lifestyle so feeling good all the time is my goal.

Hope you feel better soon

you have to get sick to become stronger, you shall be fine. the body should be able to heal itself but you do have to stay positive about it.

Hi daledo. This is great to hear. Would you mind sharing more about how long it took for you to see benefits, and how much you took?

If I'm feeling a bit run down and stressed, I usually take a trip to the health store and pick up some Kombucha tea. It works very well to alkalize the body; helping neutralize the aggression of pathogens, boosting the immune system in the process.

Slow down. I found I had to ignore a lot of things and slowed down to reduce the stress. Meditating helps too.

I would suggest trying jogging. At first it's not fun, just kinda painful. After that when your body adapts to it you feel really good after. Also it makes me more focused and obviously energetic.

Also I want to echo Lost Soul's meditation advice. I want to add though that I believe meditation to be a skill. Something that needs to be practiced to get the results you want. Otherwise it will be boring and tedious with little results.

We know all illness is self created, the common cold is a thought form fed by anger and pain. Thought forms are attracted to their originators so the best way to avoid a cold is to supress and eliminate feelings of anger and irritation towards another. Abuses of diet, meat eating and large quantities of concentrated sugars, makes the body more inclined to develop cold symptoms. The best thing to do for acute illness is to fast throwing off the invading thought form more rapidly.

My best tip is to fawn all over your immune system. Meditate on how much you love it, how appreciative you are. I've been loving on my organs and body parts as of late and it's been extremely effective!

Healthy vibes to you, HJ. :)

I'm doing much better today so it was probably just a short glitch in the system. I just refuse to think sick and try to direct my thoughts elsewhere and it works.

Agreed - sometimes our bodies say: You are not giving me enough rest and if the only way I can get you to slow down is to get sick - that's what I'll do.

When I was young, if you were sick you stayed in bed until you got better (no doctors, no drugs). Today, folks expect to "take something" or "do something" and keep going. Remember, we are not human doings, we're human beings. Just BE and enjoy!
