Either that or the term drug needs to be redefined. As it stands now all food we consume is a drug. Anything you put in your body that one digests is a drug. I think cannabis is a drug by my own definitions, but a rather benign if not beneficial(at the very least medicinally) one in many cases(although there is balance of course).

When I was in College, my best girl friend was growing a few plants right in her mother's garden, which was right in the back of a police station. They must have seen the plants from their Windows, but they never did anything. Canada was quite relax then. Also, her dad was a well known veterinarian, the cops may have thought they may need him some days, who knows. But her plants were well taken care of and the weed was good, we were on it all year. lol
