Right on Wikipedia we can see what's wrong with the world. Where there should be a full, detailed article on Total Energy Conversion, there is a single sentence. And that, to me, explains the terrible dearth of information in our world at large. That such a lie could be told.
Writers have been talking about total and near-total matter-to-energy conversions for decades if not longer. Yet the Wikipedia page on this subject contains no references to the works of these men. One of them was Larry Niven, who wrote the short story "The Soft Weapon", which deals with the concept of the extreme danger of using total energy conversion.
Now, the reason I bring this up is because CERN has been in the news so much. People keep asking, WHat are they really doing. "What is cern up to" etc.
Well there are a couple other wiki pages that bother having words on them, and one of them fits really well with the CERN controversy because it explains the manifest purpose of the machines there.
ANTIMATTER WEAPONS
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antimatter_weapon
An antimatter weapon is a hypothetical device using antimatter as a power source, a propellant, or an explosive for a weapon. Antimatter weapons are not thought to currently exist due to the cost of production and the limited technology available to produce and contain antimatter in sufficient quantities for it to be a useful weapon. The United States Air Force, however, has been interested in military uses — including destructive applications — of antimatter since the Cold War, when it began funding antimatter-related physics research. The primary theoretical advantage of such a weapon is that antimatter and matter collisions convert a greater fraction of the weapon's mass into explosive energy when compared to a fusion reaction, which is only on the order of 0.4%.[citation needed]
The hold ups so far:
Antimatter production and containment are major obstacles to the creation of antimatter weapons. Quantities measured in grams will be required to achieve destructive effect comparable with conventional nuclear weapons; one gram of antimatter annihilating with one gram of matter produces 180 terajoules, the equivalent of 42.96 kilotons of TNT (approximately 3 times the bomb dropped on Hiroshima - and as such enough to power an average city for an extensive amount of time).[citation needed]
In reality, however, most known technologies for producing antimatter involve particle accelerators, and they are currently still highly inefficient and expensive. The production rate per year is only 1 to 10 nanograms.[1] In 2008, the annual production of antiprotons at the Antiproton Decelerator facility of CERN was several picograms at a cost of $20 million. Thus, at the current level of production, an equivalent of a 10 Mt hydrogen bomb, about 250 grams of antimatter will take 2.5 billion years of the energy production of the entire Earth to produce. A milligram of antimatter will take 100,000 times the annual production rate to produce (or 100,000 years).[2] It will take billions of years for the current production rate to make an equivalent of current typical hydrogen bombs.[3] For example, an equivalent of the Hiroshima atomic bomb will take half a gram of antimatter, but will take CERN 2 million years to produce at the current production rate.[3]
Since the first creation of artificial antiprotons in 1955, production rates increased nearly geometrically until the mid-1980s; A significant advancement was made recently as a single anti-hydrogen atom was produced suspended in a magnetic field. Physical laws such as the small cross-section of antiproton production in high-energy nuclear collisions make it difficult and perhaps impossible to drastically improve the production efficiency of antimatter.
Research conducted in 2008 dramatically increased the quantity of positrons (anti-electrons) that can be produced artificially. Physicists at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California used a short, ultra-intense laser to irradiate a millimetre-thick gold target which produced more than 100 billion positrons.[4][5]
Even if it were possible to convert energy directly into particle/antiparticle pairs without any loss, a large-scale power plant generating 2000 MWe would take 25 hours to produce just one gram of antimatter. Given the average price of electric power around $50 per megawatt hour, this puts a lower limit on the cost of antimatter at $2.5 million per gram.[6] They suggest that this would make antimatter very cost-effective as a rocket fuel, as just one milligram would be enough to send a probe to Pluto and back in a year, a mission that would be completely unaffordable with conventional fuels. By way of comparison, the cost of the Manhattan Project (to produce the first atomic bomb) is estimated at $20 billion in 1996 prices.[7] Most scientists, however, doubt whether such efficiencies could ever be achieved.
CLEAN NUKES
Antimatter-catalyzed nuclear pulse propulsion proposes the use of antimatter as a "trigger" to initiate small nuclear explosions; the explosions provide thrust to a spacecraft. The same technology could theoretically be used to make very small and possibly "fission-free" (very low nuclear fallout) weapons (see Pure fusion weapon). Antimatter catalysed weapons could be more discriminate and result in less long-term contamination than conventional nuclear weapons, and their use might therefore be more politically acceptable.
FASTER DEPOPULATION
"Antimatter catalysed weapons could be more discriminate and result in less long-term contamination than conventional nuclear weapons, and their use might therefore be more politically acceptable."
a "PC" way to die in a fire.
that's what CERN is doing for humanity.

The HOW of the weapons:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_transformation
Energy transformation or energy conversion is the process of changing one form of energy to another. In physics, the term energy describes the capacity to produce certain changes within a system, without regard to limitations in transformation imposed. Changes in total energy of systems can only be accomplished by adding or removing energy from them, as energy is a quantity which is conserved (unchanging), as stated by the first law of thermodynamics. Mass-energy equivalence, which arose from special relativity, says that changes in the energy of systems will also coincide with changes (often small in practice) in the system's mass, and the mass of a system is a measure of its energy content.
Energy in many of its forms may be used in natural processes, or to provide some service to society such as heating, refrigeration, light, or performing mechanical work to operate machines. For example, an internal combustion engine converts the potential chemical energy in gasoline and oxygen into thermal energy which, by causing pressure and performing work on the pistons, is transformed into the mechanical energy that accelerates the vehicle (increasing its kinetic energy). A solar cell converts the radiant energy of sunlight into electrical energy that can then be used to light a bulb or power a computer.
The generic name for a device which converts energy from one form to another, is a transducer.

In some science fiction, "total conversion" may mean direct complete conversion of matter to energy in the proportion E = mc2.
p.s. the air force is compromising in that it has found ways to avoid using pure antimatter bombs, they found a way to use a tiny amount as stated above as an accelerant or catalyst in triggering conventional fuel

MARCH 24, 2015 MICHAEL JANITCH LEAVE A COMMENT
UPDATE March 25 2015:
CERN and the media came out this morning (last night) and are now saying that the “magnetic short circuit” happened on March 21st?
Odd that CERN made the post YESTERDAY on March 24th at 14:30 / 2:30pm CET (central European time).
The plane crash occurred around 12-1pm CET .. about 1-2 hours before this post from CERN:

image is too huge please click the link instead:
http://i0.wp.com/dutchsinse.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/cern1a.jpg
So, now we see, 1-2 hours AFTER the crash , CERN came out and said the magnetic short circuit happened on the 21st?!
Why would they say they had a short on the 21st when they announced they were GOING AHEAD just two days ago on the 23rd?
Literally, they were supposed to begin powerup on the 23rd into 24th. They said all was good and the media reports show it being reported as ready to go on the 23rd as well.
Someone is lying.
Original reports issued yesterday on Reuters say nothing about the 21st.
If it shorted out on the 21st, then they wouldn’t say all good on the 22nd + 23rd! As of 2 days ago, it was all go for a Wednesday (today) fire up. This means that yesterday CERN was primed and ready.. then shorted out.

So CERN blew a fuse. Goodeness this is good news. Dr Faizal is misleading about the parallel plate analogy, the true analogy manifests infinitly in onion fashion. Each ring is charged differently in plasma spheres, each one interacting at each level. The instantanious change in the magnetic field through the centre of the CERN torus would have been of cosmic proportions. In the centre of each heavenly body is a Neutron. In the centre of planet Earth is a Neutron Star of energies we are unable to measure with current technology. CERN was working closer to the some of that energy at our very core of immense level at higher energy near the source within the core. It was able to "draw" on it, creating another pole at defined and immense energy levels, much higher than we normally exist within on the surface and over our heads. It could vreate a cushion effect pressing down, a shield effect weighing us down in the ionosphere over our heads. Invisible, pressing down the levels in which we currently exist. If such emmited energy collapses suddenly, the energy levels will seek equilibrium and collapses in on itself, with catastrophic consequences. We may witness it directly but it will impact something in our environment.
It appears there is initial evidence of the French aircraft crashing and CERN blowing a fuse is such reasonably conicident to warrant global investigation. We can expect signifcant impact from this.

Certainly - a major mistake, in the likelihood that Cern is responsible for bringing down Germanwings flight A320. But you know they're going to have a board meeting over this...
You can bet the scientists are gonna go...
"Gee, did Cern really do that? Bring down that Air Bus? I guess now we know that we got a bigger & badder weapon for the military to use now than we thought we did. Boy what a success story this turned out to be!"

Well, the media isn't connecting CERN's LHC with the crash in any physical way.
However considering the "warfare in heavenly places" mentioned by Paul and John, and the "signs in the sky" mentioned by Nostradamus,
it would not be beyond the scope of possibility that when the machine turned on,
the probability of a crash increased.
It might be crazy talk, but last week (or two weeks?) my spouse and I watched that corny movie, "Event Horizon".
It was weird timing cause of teh CERN fireup happening soon.
B/c Event Horizon deals with a CERNline technology, but when the engine is turned on, it causes humans to become violent and kill each other.
because the portal is a gate to hell.
food for thought.
In 2047, the rescue vessel Lewis and Clark is dispatched to answer a distress signal received from the Event Horizon, a starship that disappeared during its maiden voyage to Proxima Centauri seven years prior. Captain Miller (Laurence Fishburne) and his crew — Lieutenant Starck (Joely Richardson), pilot Smith (Sean Pertwee), Medical Technician Peters (Kathleen Quinlan), Engineer Ensign Justin (Jack Noseworthy), Rescue Technician Cooper (Richard T. Jones), and Trauma Doctor D.J. (Jason Isaacs) — are joined for the mission by the Event Horizon's designer Dr. William Weir (Sam Neill). Dr. Weir briefs the crew that the Event Horizon was built to test an experimental gravity drive, which generates an artificial black hole to use the immense gravitational power to bridge two points in spacetime, greatly reducing travel time over astronomical distances.
Upon arriving at the ship's decaying orbit around Neptune and boarding the Event Horizon to search for survivors, the crew finds evidence of a massacre. During the search, the ship's gravity drive activates automatically. Justin is pulled into the resulting portal, returning in a catatonic state. He is later placed in stasis after a failed suicide attempt in apprehension over the events he witnessed during his crossover. The activation of the gravity drive causes a massive shockwave, which critically damages the Lewis and Clark and forces the entire crew to board the Event Horizon. The crew then begins experiencing hallucinations of their fears and regrets: Miller sees a subordinate, Corrick (Noah Huntley), he was forced to abandon in a zero gravity fire; Peters sees images of her son Denny (Barclay Wright) with his legs covered in bloody lesions; and Dr. Weir, a widower, sees his wife Claire (Holley Chant) with missing eyes, urging him to join her.
The team soon discover a video log of the Event Horizon's crew going insane and mutilating each other. The video log ends with a shot of the Event Horizon's captain, apparently having gouged his own eyes out, holding his eyes up to the camera and saying a message in latin, "liberate tuteme ex inferis" (lit. "save yourself from hell"). Miller and D.J. deduce that while the ship's gravity drive did successfully open a gateway in spacetime, it leapt outside the known universe and into another dimension, described later on by Dr. Weir as "a dimension of pure chaos, pure evil" (and implied to be Hell). The Event Horizon has since then gained an evil sentience and telepathic abilities, tormenting its occupants with the aim of compelling them to return to Hell.
RL couldn't be creepier this week, it's matching fiction pretty closely and the gore factor is high :(

Thanks, Tesla.
I've given this Cern thing some thought and applied intuition. What I get is that the most important element with Cern is: They are desperately trying to create a portal through which they can escape. Who are "they"? They are not just the powerful minions of the truly evil, they are the creators (small 'c') of this imprisonment matrix that we live within. This connects to so many threads in Avalon and of the distortion field in general that we are emerging from.....some slowly, some quickly. They will not succeed, not this time. Will the minions succeed in getting their long sought WW3? That has to do with timelines. Make your choice and choose wisely. I choose freedom.

<3 to you all. and thoughtfulness in the eye of the storm.
Echthroi (Ἐχθροί) is a Greek plural meaning "The Enemy" (literally "enemies"). The singular form of the word, Echthros (Ἐχθρός), is used in many versions and translations of the Bible for "enemy".
Historically used primarily in connection with biblical and classical subjects,[1] the term has more recently been used to refer to a fictitious type of evil being, principally in Madeleine L'Engle's "Time Quartet". A personification of the forces of impersonalization and nihilism,[2] they exist in both the macrocosmic and microcosmic level, counteracted principally by what L'Engle refers to as "Naming", or re-integration of a character with its best-motivated identity ('true self').[2] These concepts appear in one form or another in a number of L'Engle's books, as part of her recurring themes of good versus evil, interdependency, and the role of the individual in the cosmic scheme of things.
L'Engle's Echthroi first appear as antagonists of A Wind in the Door (1973, ISBN 0-374-38443-6), wherein Meg Murry first becomes aware of their existence when a doppelganger of school official 'Mr. Jenkins' suddenly flies "screaming across the sky," becoming "a slash of nothingness". The "singular cherubim" Proginoskes later identifies this doppelgänger as one of the Echthroi, and demonstrates their specialty by showing the Echthroi annihilating stars. Meg's father, an astrophysicist, has already been called to investigate these phenomena, while Meg's mother, a microbiologist, is simultaneously investigating an illness in Meg's brother Charles Wallace Murry's mitochondria;–– both caused by the Echthroi. Later the Echthroi again impersonate Mr. Jenkins, and convince the microscopic "farandolae" to behave destructively toward their host mitochondrion, nearly killing Charles Wallace, only to be overcome by Meg's 'Naming'.
Charles Wallace again runs afoul of the Echthroi in A Swiftly Tilting Planet (1978, ISBN 0-374-37362-0), wherein he and the unicorn Gaudior contend with them for control of a certain ancestry, which produces either villains or peace-makers according to the result of this competition.
Although the malevolent force in A Wrinkle in Time is referred to as the 'Black Thing' or 'Powers of Darkness' rather than 'Echthroi,' it is an earlier form of the same basic concept. In that book, which immediately precedes A Wind in the Door in the Time Quartet series, Meg, Charles Wallace and Calvin O'Keefe are shown a star giving up its own existence as a star to combat a patch of cosmic darkness, essentially the reverse of what Meg sees Proginoskes do. Evil in that book, directed by the giant brain known as IT, takes the form of anonymity and conformity, similar to the concept of "Un-Naming".
In the L'Engle books, Echthroi are depicted as the forces of "Un-Naming", bent on annihilating matter, knowledge, understanding, "making people not know who they are".[3] Impersonal themselves, they try to convince the character Sporos and others that nothing and no one matters but the pleasure of the moment. As Donald R. Hettinga explains, the Echthroi are "fallen angels" and "a kind of personified nihilism, an active evil that is attacking the universe by convincing creatures to deny their importance in a symbiotic creation".[2] Calvin Miller refers to the Echthroi as "demonic spirits… always stalking good, making the whole sick, the entire partial, the holy eroded by the contaminated".[4]
Outside the L'Engle corpus, the words Echthros and Echthroi occur mainly in connection with biblical studies and in literary criticism of classical literature, specifically Greek tragedy.[1][5] Aristotle and others classified people encountered by characters in tragedy into philoi (friends and loved ones), echthroi (enemies) and medetoeroi (neithers), with the characters and their audience seeking a positive outcome for the first group and the downfall of the second.[6]
The term also appears in Canto XII of the little-known epic The Purple Island by seventeenth-century poet and rector Phineas Fletcher, apparently in the general meaning of enemies.[7]
Most recently, it is the name of the antagonists in James A. Owen's 5th addition to the Imaginarium Geographica series.
a wind in the door
Meg Murry is worried about her brother Charles Wallace, a 6-year-old genius who is bullied at school by the other children. The new principal of the elementary school is the former high school principal, Mr. Jenkins, who often disciplined Meg, and who Meg is sure has a grudge against her whole family. Meg tries to enlist Jenkins's help in protecting her brother, but is unsuccessful. On top of this, Meg discovers that Charles Wallace has a progressive disease which is leaving him short of breath. Their mother, a microbiologist, suspects it may have something to do with his mitochondria and the farandolae that live within them.
One afternoon, Charles Wallace tells Meg he saw a "drive of dragons" in the vegetable garden in their back yard. Meg goes out with him to investigate, but all they find is a pile of very odd feathers. Later, Meg has a frightening encounter with something that looks like Mr. Jenkins. Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O'Keefe discover that Charles Wallace's drive of dragons is a single creature named Proginoskes. Progo, as he is quickly nicknamed, insists on being called "a cherubim" instead of a cherub because he is "practically plural," having a multitude of wings and eyes. The children also encounter a tall robed being named Blajeny, who informs them that he is a Teacher, and that they and Proginoskes have all been called to his class. They also encounter a snake that lives in their wall, Louise the Larger, who is also a Teacher.
Meg learns that the galaxy is threatened by beings called Echthroi, who seek to erase the entire universe by un-Naming things. She soon has to save Mr. Jenkins from this fate, by Naming him. Part of the task is to distinguish the real Mr. Jenkins from two Echthroi doubles, but it also means that she must look past her personal grudge, find the goodness in Mr. Jenkins, and let herself love him.
The characters then learn that Echthroi are destroying Charles Wallace's farandolae. They travel inside one of his mitochondria, which is named Yadah, and turn the tide by convincing a larval farandola, named Sporos, to Deepen, or take root, and accept its role as a mature fara, against the urgings of an Echthros who has the appearance of Mr. Jenkins. In the process, Meg is nearly "Xed,"(unnamed) and Mr. Jenkins is invaded by his Echthros doubles. Proginoskes sacrifices himself to "fill in" the emptiness of the Echthroi, Charles Wallace's life is saved, and everything returns to normal.

Triade
The Triade, Triskele, or Triple Spiral, is an ancient Celtic symbol related to earthly life, the afterlife, and reincarnation. it is drawn in one continuous line, suggesting a fluid movement of time. Triades are one of the most common elements of Celtic art. They also evoke the universal concept of the domains of material existence- earth, water, and sky; body, mind and spirit; and the eternally spiraling cycles of time.

Hi,
Maybe straying from topic, but, if it took the USA a very small amount of years to develop an A bomb. Why has nuclear fusion not appeared after DECADES of research? Instead we have CERN?
Smells like fish, fish - on.
Where are they getting the 'juice':
http://home.web.cern.ch/about/engineering/powering-cern
"As CERN's physics programme has evolved and expanded, physicists at the laboratory have used more powerful accelerators and detectors to study the fundamental particles. The laboratory has had to innovate to keep up with electrical demands. CERN uses 1.3 terawatt hours of electricity annually. That’s enough power to fuel 300,000 homes for a year in the United Kingdom. But the energy needed changes from month to month, as the seasons shift and the experimental requirements are adjusted.
At peak consumption, usually from May to mid-December, CERN uses about 200 megawatts of power, which is about a third of the amount of energy used to feed the nearby city of Geneva in Switzerland. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) runs during this period of the year, using the power to accelerate protons to nearly the speed of light. CERN's power consumption falls to about 80 megawatts during the winter months. "
How much does it cost:
http://www.forbes.com/sites/alexknapp/2012/07/05/how-much-does-it-cost-to-find-a-higgs-boson/
"The Large Hadron Collider was first turned on in August of 2008, then stopped for repairs in September until November 2009. Taking all of those costs into consideration, the total cost of finding the Higgs boson ran about $13.25 billion. That’s a large amount, but there are over 50 billionaires on the Forbes list actually worth more than that. The money itself is provided by the CERN member countries, and a little over 70% of the annual budget is provided by Germany, the U.K., Italy, France and Spain. The money for the experiments also comes from large institutions such as universities and observer governments such as the United States, India, and Russia."
How much as been spent on Fusion?
http://www.fusionenergyleague.org/index.php/blog/article/have_we_spent_too_much
"Hardly. And certainly not in proportion to fusion’s colossal upside.
How much have we spent?
Since 1953, when the fusion program started, the TOTAL spent on fusion energy in the US, both Magnetic and Inertial is $24.1 Billion dollars (adjusted to 29.1BN)"
When I was a boy, I was promised space travel and bases on the moon....still waiting.

I listen to hours and hours of interviews on youtube and someone (I don't remember who) suggested that Cern was for the purpose of opening a worm hole, (travel) to bring in reinforcements (draco reptilians Probably). Do we really need more weapons? I doubt it. So the travel idea sounds more feasible. I can't bring myself to believe that our scientists are still looking for the God-particle. How stupid are they anyway? I am no scientist but I find that idea a futile waste of time. Some one said that Japan has agreed to build a bigger better particle accelerator and the reason they agreed to do it was to insure that the plan to sink Japan might be scrapped. Why are they trying to sink Japan? -- Because the people who remote view or look into the future saw a time line where their agenda was doing much better and it was a future where Japan had totally sank into the ocean. Sounds totally crazy I know. I just recently changed my mind about time travel. I used to think it was impossible. I don't think that any more.
