We are all living in the illusion, some can see it some are a part of it, and other just don’t care one way or another.

Illusions are everywhere, most of which are manmade or in the mind of man then reinforced through the creation of material things to sustain or project the illusion.
Countries and borders for one are an illusion, a fluid constantly changing. The US was not the US 1000 years ago, the nature of countries are just in the minds of the many and reinforced by systematic conditioning of a repetitive nature to bring the illusion into focus to those that are blinded by it. This is just one example of many; there will be those who wish to maintain the illusion for power and control for themselves and others. Yet these individuals and groups are blinded and conditioned by things of their own making hence the phase, sheep follow the sheep. We control each other be it those in the power elite or those that are the so called lesser.

The power elite and the power structure itself is the result of manipulation, and illusions. One reinforces the other. Yet some can see this, and others are so wrapped up in the every increasing pace and demands of the world we live in, which is getting more and more complex and compounding illusion upon illusion, that telling what is real and what is not is quite a feat.

I like how Richard Dolan refers to the power elite as "our handlers"

At some point it is all going to collapse, of course, but I am ok with that, and where ever I am when it happens. Unless I am already dead, of course, which lets me totally off the hook ;)

p.s. I would add that it is not THE world that is going to collapse, but only OUR world. Just a thought, but peeps might want to learn some old-timey skills. It can't hurt, and it might help.

The nature of life is change. Whatever illusion we are living in now, will be vastly different from the realities in our future. Even those who are a part of it or have no interest, will adapt relatively easily, since they need not understand what is happening, before they can accept it. Conversely, it is those who require this understanding, who will find many things difficult to accept, since for us, the process is not gradual, but rather an intensely studied one.

This is a really interesting topic. I will consider a couple of illusions. What attributes are assigned to the illusion we call success? Attending to and paying for a rigid course of specific dogma that we can memorize and regurgitate for a short period of time gives us a piece of paper that awards us the prestige of having an education. One of the many things that will assign us the title of being successful. Having lots of piece of paper we call money stored as a numerical balance on a screen is a definite attribute of success, the higher that number is the more successful we are. Maybe we will add to our illusion of success by having an appealing mate or a huge home to abide in. We might meet all these achievements and be considered a great success in our social structure but when the SH** hits the fan we may not have the ability or common sense to live for a day on our own out in wilderness. So much for the illusion of success.

The illusion of wants and needs are also interesting. Ever go into a store and looked to determine which of these items are really needed for survival? We are indoctrinated into the illusion that we need so much more than we really do..In fact most of become enslaved by those illusory wants that we mistake for needs.

The sad fact is that most of us spend our whole lives chasing the illusory world, aspiring to illusory goals and collecting illusory goods that have been determined to be worthwhile by someone else. We will die wondering why we still feel as empty as when we started (or more so) why none of this gave us any permanent satisfaction.

People spend trillions of dollars, to make you want something so much, that you will happily go to work, for those same people, so that you can afford to buy their stuff. Its hardly surprising that it worked, given all the effort that went into it.

Unfortunately its also an obviously unsustainable model and it will not last forever.

"In the words of Dr Richard Allan Miller, 'magic' is education, discipline and misguided human values (I want, I want) where 95% of the population are trapped by debt, ignorance and complacency."

The cabal do everything they can to re-enforce these messages and indoctrinate us with greed, racism and fear to further distract the average person who has little or no time to understand or research what is going on.
