These are not by alternate researchers , as posted on the Graham Hancock
thread.

A couple of docs the first asks questions about why ? when ? who ? built
this complex and for what reason ?. Nice clear photography and the
narrator is asking questions as the film goes along. Some of the
contributors speak in their own language without subtiles , but you
get the gist of what they are saying by the pictures behind them and
the narrators comments after.

It takes on a journey from Sumerian text , vedic texts , bible ,Koran
and other sources from mainstream and alternate sources and is a
thought provoking , interesting watch . Still with questions to ponder
after but definitely worth a watch imo.....

For me, its the carvings, really. They look totally unlike anything
found to date, and they have a lot of examples. And they look like what I
would do if I were trying to fake them. So I don't believe it.

This is a segment from the national Geographic doc and they show you how they
think the low relief animals were made by a expert 'flint napper' and stone worker
and it looks relatively straight forward and I'm sure you could do it as well if you
have some artistic talent with Limestone , which is a relatively easy material to
carve. These figures are similar in design to others in the region and look genuine
to me and much more is still buried.

- Karahan Tepe is the sister site to the enigmatic Göbekli Tepe in Southeast Turkey
(video here: http://youtu.be/E-Q9cviQcn0). It has many striking similarities to
Göbekli. Firstly, it is still buried. All you are seeing in the video is the very tops of
the T-Shaped pillars. There are 266 of them that mostly form parallel curved
serpent-like rows. Some have animal and serpent relief carvings. Karahan Tepe was
first discovered in 1997, and was surveyed in 2000 and again in 2011. It is located
on the Tektek mountains and is within the boundaries of Sanliurfa (ancient Edessa -
the birthplace of Abraham).

I visited this unexcavated site in June 2014 with author Andrew Collins and a group
of Megalithomaniacs on the 'Origins of Civilization' tour. It is not an officially
recognized tourist site, so we had to plan the trip there carefully as it is on private
land, upon the Tektek mountains. When Andrew visited there in 2004 the person
who showed him around was warned he would get a beating if it was found that
anyone had visited there. Ten years later, and the owners welcome the occasional
visitor with tea and information. No beatings entailed, just tea and conversation

great posting- many thanks for this- can't wait to read Hancock's newest and afterward weigh the difference between his research and the research of Dr. Joseph Farrell (there already seems to be slightly conflicting scenarios)- I've read "Fingerprints of the Gods" as well as Farrell's "Cosmic War" (among many of his other books)- can't wait to compare and sort this out (at least try!) in my brain...

I spent a some time this September in the mild grip of a certain frequency that seems to have gripped many. Blood Moon Tetrads, Shemitah, CERN, the pope in Washington, the significance of the 23/9 et al.

Ooh it tightens the base chakra to have to consider the idea of having to survive a disaster. Not a worthless consideration though. I know there are those that are already ‘survivalists’, bunkers an’ all. I’m not that desperate to survive but how would I cope is a fair question.

Hit by similar frequencies over recent years I had begun preparing a survival carryall with a compass, good knife, toilet rolls, water purifiers, lighters. Not sure why, just a feeling that if I have half an hour to move, what would I need?

I started adding to that carryall a few weeks back and going so far as identifying the highest point above sea level in my locality. It has a longbarrow too. Is there an entrance? Hmm, must take a run out there. No time, gotta work, gotta pay the bills. If I really thought it was coming would I care? One day, feeling a bit like a coiled spring, I had to tell myself to relax. Stay calm. Stay calm at all times.

I recalled this meme on hats and badges with a royal crest saying Stay Calm. Sold in touristy shops all over UK. ‘Don’t Panic’ was another one. Just appeared a few years back. Hmm pre-programming?

Stay Calm whispers in my ear as I contemplate the idea we could be given an hour.

Mulling over the youtube bible bashing apocalyptics, I saw clip of Morgan Freeman as the US President in Deep Impact saying ‘That’s it folks. Nothing we can do. You have an hour’. Then recalled Nicolas Cage in another Solar Disaster scenario, going to his loved ones and the last moments just waiting. In such a scenario a peace more profound than we’ve ever known would descend on humanity. It’s a good exercise to think about it at the very least. Get a taste of the absolute. Surviving an ELE would be far harder than the blast of ground zero of course.

I recognised a guilty desire that wants it all swept clean, restored, regenerated. A fresh start.

The tension eased, as the solar eclipse passed and I noted at the time on September 13, Jeremy Corbyn was elected leader of the opposition here in the UK and a new frequency of hope seems to be burgeoning in so many. Hope and vision. Good feeling, yes. Shadow Deputy PM is none other than Tom Watson who so gallantly pursued paedophiliacs in high places. The shadow Health Secretary, a vegan. 16 women in the cabinet to 15 men. Unlike the Tories that have 20 to 9 and their media shouting ridiculous headlines “Corbyn under fire for refusing top jobs to women’.

So much lying and propaganda and Corbyn is calling them out. He’s not going to perform in the circus. He wants to get on with serious matters. It’s all good. At least it feels that way. I’d still like to know the whole truth behind the Tsipras/Varoufakis fiasco, to see Tsipras slink away with his tail between his legs (and a bundle in his pocket?) was quite the disappointment this year.

Yet evil is getting exposed little by little, and I trust that accountability will become the keyword. So I’m still holding the vision of a better future for all, in spite of the fact that it could all end quite abruptly. At least I'll have my carryall and if some are to be believed, I might ascend in a rainbow bubble on the breeze of love. Cool. Think I'll contemplate that for a bit.. ;:inlove:

My copy was delivered the other day. Great read so far (when I get time). The descriptions of the cataclysmic melt water floods into the Scablands are something else.

In this picture Graham is standing next to Randal Carson, an expert on the geology of the area. In front of them is Dry Falls, which is the biggest known waterfall on earth, caused by by insane amounts of melt water from the North American ice sheets. Several miles wide and three times higher than Niagra. Whats even more incredible is that Randal recons that you would not have been able to see it because it would be underwater!

The descriptions of Gobekle Tepe are interesting too. They haven't even begun to scratch the surface. Interesting that the archaeologists say that it was deliberately buried.

The evidence is certainly mounting to back up Graham's hypothesis in his first book. The fact that scientists round the world are now coming to the conclusion that a comet impacting the ice sheets causing rapid floods and global cooling shaped the Younger Dryas vindicates his work.

Graham Hancocks books were the first stages of my awakening and have followed his work with interest ever since. I am so happy for him after putting up with all the stick he has had to endure from some in the scientific community.

I was talking to a receptionist today about Fingerprints. I told her it was about history, the end of the ice age and the flood. She was astonished! "You mean there really was an ice age? I thought it was just a movie, a cartoon and they made it up!" I was surprised. I guess they don't teach that in school anymore. She looked about 30.

She actually did not know that there was an ice age...

says he wants Zahi to retract his accusations and apologise on bended knees..LOL

I don't think Hawass genuinely knew about Gobekli Tepi and
anything else that gets in the way of Egyptology as he portrays
it is fraud. A sudo archaeologist if ever there was one ...LOL

what the carved lines on the small bone plaque showed. That was until Matthew
Smith, a British telecommunications consultant living in Qatar, visited Sanliurfa’s
new archaeology museum with Megalithomania and Andrew Collins, just 8 miles

else had missed, and this was that the little plaque – just 6 cm by 2.5 cm in size,

and is out of proportion, which Schoch confirmed scientifically. Amazingly, he also
found that the body has suffered weathering from rain, weather that did also not
coincide with the date of 2500BC. That would’ve been at least 6000BC, or perhaps
12,000BC!

Schoch’s work has proved to be paradigm shattering, much like Robert Bauval’s
work showing the alignment of the Pyramids with the Belt of Orion, and, Graham
Hancock’s work with other ancient structures around the world.

The work on the Sphinx proved to be an explosive revelation, questioning the very
origins of our civilisation…

Robert Bauval was born in Egypt in 1948 brings us the latest Updates on Ancient Egypt
May 2015. In 1989 he published a study which proposed that the layout of the three Giza
Pyramids and their relative position to the Nile was intended to mirror the layout of the
three stars in Orion's belt and their relative position to the Milky Way. This thesis, now
known as the 'Orion Correlation Theory', became the subject of his first book, The Orion

:thumbsup: I am 3/4 of the way thru Hancock's latest "Magicians of the Gods" and it is very enlightening. His style is very easy to read, his journalism is impeccable, he makes dry material interesting.

Years ago I'd read "Fingerprints", from a library copy which convinced me completely for evidence of long lost advanced civilization. Several years ago I bought and read his book "Supernatural: Meetings with the Ancient Teachers of Mankind" (2006) which examines shamanistic ancient cave art, folklore and myth, and includes a more personal account of Hancock's very honest explorations of consciousness. I also got his book that he co-authored with Robert Bauval "Master Game: Unmasking the Secret Rulers of the World" (2011), a very detailed account of the origins of Freemasonry and the hidden hands of power. I learned a lot about the early days of Christianity and the rebellious Gnostic heretical sects that challenged the Catholic Church. The ways in which the Roman church entrenched its tentacles of power were horrific and despicable, the roots of the Catholic church are filled with depravity and murder, they burned people alive, entire towns.

Anyway, back to my 'thumbs-up' for "Magicians of the Gods" (which I will return to reading when I get off my internet binge), I am very satisfied with this book. Hancock weaves together an investigation of the lost origins of civilization from geological evidence, archaeological clues from megalithic sites around the world, common antediluvian myths with historical references, tales of ancient sages and puzzle pieces to astronomical wisdom and mathematical knowledge. He explains how ancients knew of planetary precession and calculations for the clockwork of the zodiac, the earth's regular rotations through the constellations (my summations, not necessarily technically accurate). I found a line of his from page 334 that rather explains his title, the opening to chapter 16 "Written in the Stars": "...we explored the secret tradition of the Sages, maintained in Egypt for thousands of years, perpetuating itself through recruitment and initiation down the ages. And we considered the possibility that these "mystery teachers of heaven," these "Followers of Horus" --these "Magicians of the Gods"--played a key role, not once but many times, at crucial moments in Egyptian history, in moving that remarkable culture forward."

Graham Hancock puts together rational and intuitive links to a broader picture of what archaeologists ought to be considering for the story of ancient civilization. Maybe it takes a daring journalist with a gifted intellect to connect the dots that the academics fail to consider while they rigidly hold onto timelines that are not the whole true story. I think the public is blessed to have such a brilliant researcher willing to present us with better theories to apply to our global human heritage.
