A jury has sentenced Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to the death penalty.

After 14 hours of deliberation, the jury of five men and seven women came to its
decision. Three people were killed and 260 were injured when Tsarnaev, now 21, and
his brother placed bombs at the finishing line of the Boston Marathon in 2013.Jurors
made findings on 12 factors that would support the death penalty and 21 mitigating
factors his defence said supported a life in prison verdict.

Seven of 30 charges Tsarnaev was convicted of allow the possibility of the death penalty.
Victims and their family members sobbed as the sentence was read. Tsarnaev bowed
his head but otherwise did not show emotion in court.

You might of read post 1 before I put up the links, page 2 of the link below
has some relatively recent articles that show a lot of evidence of possible
collusion and all the usual suspect people around these 'terror events'

‘We’ve been told that Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his younger brother Dzhokhar, are
guilty of detonating two bombs at the Boston Marathon finish line on April 15, 2013.
After such a long trial, followed by lengthy sentencing and penalty phases, are we any
closer to knowing what really happened that day?

The penalty phase of the trial begins today. The stakes could not be higher. Already,
numerous Boston bombing victims and bystanders are speaking out in public opposing
any death penalty sentence for alleged bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

As we will demonstrate, there is a strong forensic case to be made for Dzhokhar ‘s innocence.’

As 21WIRE outlined previously, there are a number key points and unique anomalies that
have been overlooked in this case. None however, are as compelling as this smoking gun:

Positioned near the finish line, we can reveal what could very well be the real suspect in
this bombing – a person dressed as a black haired woman, or ‘purse lady’. Her image can
be clearly seen in multiple photographs taken on the day of the incident, and based on the
evidence we’ll present, it’s very likely that this person was responsible for the second
Boston Bombing explosion.

In the exhibit below, we will show how this person clearly dropped a purse in front of the
fence, calmly walks away, just before a device was detonated at that very spot.

It seems that neither branch of the mass media, either the mainstream or the alternate
media have yet to touch this aspect of the Boston Bombing Trial. Speaking as a former
US attorney (Kurt Haskell), this would represent much of the defense case, and should
instill some reasonable doubt.

Setting the Stage

Below, we will take readers through a series of photographic exhibits, along with commentary
and analysis of the visual forensic aspects, as well as some contextual and speculative analysis.



Exhibit #1: The Bombs

According to the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the prosecutors in this case,
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is responsible for detonating a homemade kitchen ‘Pressure
Cooker’ bomb which was classified by the DOJ as a ‘weapon of mass destruction’.

Despite the ‘open and shut’ manner in which the prosecution and the media has
characterized this case, it’s still not completely clear just how many ‘explosions’
took place at the Boston Marathon that day, but the authorities maintain there were
two explosions. In retrospect, the larger of the two explosion does not add up in
relation to the rather minimal amount of damage seen after the fact. Also, one
could speculate that if you were a terrorist who wanted to create maximum damage
at a high profile event such as this, then one might expect that the terrorist
would construct the bomb to blow outward not upward, as we saw with the
incident’s now iconic, Hollywood-like plume explosion. Watch:

This same image is also used as the prosecution’s ‘trial exhibit #29′ showing that
the backpack Dzokhar allegedly dropped off (note that there are no clear pictures
showing him dropping off the bag or any pictures of the bag present after Dzokhar
left. There also isn’t any real video of him dropping the bag off as the media
previously indicated). The backpack appears to be black, and therefore doesn’t
match the one he had previously. In actuality, we cannot tell if this black bag had
anything to do with Dzokhar at all.

Note the proximity of the bag (alleged bomb) to the tree in the middle of the
photograph. Note that the tree was unharmed but police cut it down afterward “as
evidence”.

Exhibit #3: The Drop


Question: Was the bomb in backpack at all? According to the prosecution, ‘a black
bag was detonated’.

Is this even true? Let’s take a closer look at the scene of the incident…

sunglasses, black coat and white shirt appears to be alone (She is 2nd person to

dangling her purse in front of the fence.

In the top left image of these four connected pictures, the two women to the right
of the dark-haired ‘purse lady’ appear to have placed a light-colored garbage bag
near to them, still behind the fence. In the top right picture, someone, possibly one
of these two woman, has placed the garbage bag outside the fence. In the bottom
left picture, they have moved it to the front of the fence, after which time, the
purse lady has set her purse in, or on top of, this trash bag on the front side of the fence.

Note that these women did not arrive together. Do they even know each other?
What woman would set her purse over the fence, and on top of someone else’s
garbage bag? Is this not unusual?

Exhibit #3: The Richards’ Injuries

The facts of the Richards family and their injuries appear to be inconsistent with
the forensic details of the explosion, and are absolutely not at all consistent with
the ‘official blast zone’ explanation.

In this picture above (Photo Item 7) we clearly see the young Martin Richard (head
circled in blue) who is said to have been basically ‘blown apart’ in the blast. To his
right and dressed in green, is his sister, Jane, whose sole injury was that her left
leg was blown-off. Note how she is sticking her left leg all the way through the
fence grade and in front of it. Their father stands between the two of them, slightly
to the back. Incredibly, he was uninjured in the blast.

Note also, the proximity of Dzokhar Tsarnaev to the father, and also the tree –
both of which were unharmed.

The most likely scenario for the Richards’ injuries is that a blast came from the
front, and to the right of them, not from the back right as per the ‘official theory’.

Note also, and below, how the bomb blast appears to blow the fence backwards,
and therefore, the injuries to the Richards family are consistent with a blast from
their front, and not right behind – where Tsarnaev is said to have allegedly dropped
his backpack which contained a bomb in it. Furthermore, the mysterious brown
purse was dropped right next to a mailbox that had close contact powder burns
only to its front corner, once again, consistent with a nearby blast from the front
side of the fence – where this purse was in fact dropped.

Exhibit #4: The Blast Zone – Fact and Fiction

We can see clearly from the photographic evidence here, that the government’s
official blast location has no burn marks, but there are substantial burn marks
adjacent to mailbox. Again, this fact is consistent with the detonation happening in
front of the fence, and not behind it where the accused Dzhokhar was standing
before the moment of the explosion.

Look very closely at this picture (below), which shows the scene immediately after
the blast. First of all, the fence to the left was blown backward. The small piece of
fence remaining near the mailbox was ripped apart exactly where the garbage bag/
purse was located. The bigger piece of fence is missing but is in the road and was
likely blown straight up/ and or possible ricocheted off of the tree and into the road.
Only the front left corner of the mailbox has close contact explosive burns and not
the back left corner which is what you would expect if the blast came from the tree
area( look very closely).

Also in the above picture (Photo Item 8), note that everything is blown backwards,
and to the left. Nothing to the right is damaged which is what you would expect if
the blast occurred next to the tree. This is because the blast occurred adjacent to
the mailbox, and clearly, the mailbox shielded much of the material from exploding
to the right.

Again, nobody is blown into the road (Photo Item 9), which is what you’d expect if
the explosion was behind you, and you were at the fence.

Notice from this image how there appears to be no evidence of detonation from
the “official” blast zone in this picture (Photo Item 11). Note also how the tree is
already cut down, so quickly after the incident. However, notice the extreme
black/burn marks where the purse/garbage bag would have been that the man
kneeling down in the white CSI jumpsuit is working on cleaning(look close).

Above (Photo Item 12) is another image, showing the blast evidence near the mailbox, but no blast evidence near the tree.

There is no evidence these women were injured even though they should probably
have been killed, as was the case with Lingzi Lu who was killed while standing
immediately behind the ‘purse lady’ (see earlier image in Photo Item 5).

In Summary

We have demonstrated quite clearly, that this particular bomb could have easily
been inside of the trash bag or purse.

If the defense objective is to show some reasonable doubt regarding the accused
placing a live bomb at the scene of the explosion, then why weren’t these exhibits
shown here included in the defense? If nothing else, these key pieces of evidence
should have been the centerpiece of the defense’s case of accused Boston Bomber
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

The lead defense attorney should have at least presented this evidence to try and
prove reasonable doubt for acquittal. From this it becomes self-evident that no real
attempt was ever made by defense attorney to put on a case for the client at all.

Also, some discussion is also warranted on how it makes no sense for a woman to
drop purse in front of fence, especially on top of a garbage bag, and even more so
because she didn’t appear to arrive or be together with the woman to her right.

In addition to this, according to ABC News, investigators discovered female DNA on
the remains of one of the bombs. The FBI claims that this DNA does not match that
of Katherine Russell, the ‘common law’ wife of deceased bomb suspect Tamerlan
Tsarnaev. Russell did not testify at Dzhokhar’s trial. Regardless of the results in this
line of inquiry, it’s just one more example which should point toward reasonable
doubt in this case.

Certainly, there is some real doubt in the minds of some victims. CBS News
reports how, in a statement to The Boston Globe, victim family members Jessica
Kensky and Patrick Downes have pleaded, “If there is anyone who deserves the
ultimate punishment, it is the defendant. However, we must overcome the impulse
for vengeance.”

They believe that their position is, “intensely emotional and profoundly practical.”

Like the Richards, they are calling for life in prison without parole or appeals – so as
to ensure that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev “disappears from our collective consciousness as
soon as possible.”

As long as the evidence is ignored, public doubt can never ‘disappear.’

There are still have too many unanswered questions surrounding this case. Until
they are answered, there will be no real closure of this dramatic and tragic event.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is most definately innocent. So was his brother.

In the two years since the flase flag bombing, we have not once heard Tsarnaev admit guilt of any of the 30 counts he has been convicted of. He pleaded not guilty to all 30 counts.

His defence team opened the trial by saying that he did it (surely if this was a real court of law they'd be disbarred for such actions). He read the ridiculous boat note to the court. The media mislead the public with its headlines about the nun saying she believes he is remorseful for his crimes, making it look like he admitted guilt but all he actually said was that no-one deserves to suffer as the victims of the bombing did. But never has Dzhokhar admitted guilt, this is important to note for the future.

There has been zero evidence presented in court in his defence, and there is evidence and his defence team does have it.

However, as bad as this situation is, now that they have given him the death penalty, it's not as bad as it seems.

Dzhokhar is 21, life in prison is a very long time for him. It is now highly likely that he will be sent to death row and although it is not clear on what conditions he will have, because of SAMs, the conditions there are far better than the conditions at ADX, which is worse than death.

Also, I have faith that this is not the end for Dzhokhar. The lies of the law departments and the justice system and the rest of the governmnet involved will unravel, of this I have no doubt, how and when is the only unknown.

Imagine the effect of Dzhokhar being proven innocent after the circus that has played out before us. Remember, these are difficult times but they are about an awakening. The more they lie, the deeper the hole they dig for themselves.

America will awaken.

Cidersomerset, very interesting! One thing that got my attention was the
woman on Photo Item 6 on the photo up in the left corner of your post, it appears
to me that she comes there and drops the bag on some garbage and who knows
maybe what's in that garbage is what explodes. The fact that she even drops
the bag on that garbage is very strange, who does something like that and strange
also that the garbage bag was even moved over the fence at all. And to me this is
no typical fashion dressed woman...


I agree , the bag looks heavy , which is why she places it on the ground. But you
don't put your valuables over a fence , on a rubbish bag ? and from the collage
below the sequence of events looks like the bag therefore the woman are very
suspicious and could have been the source of the initial explosion/diversion ?

‘After over 14 hours of deliberation, jurors have sentenced Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death on some counts.

The jury consisted of seven women and five men, and this marks the first time that a federal jury has
sentenced a terrorist to death in the post-Sept. 11 era. Several juror members were reportedly crying
as the sentencing came down. Tsarnaev displayed no signs of emotion.

The 12 jurors had to agree unanimously in order for Tsarnaev to receive the death penalty, otherwise
he would have automatically received life in prison without parole. The execution will be carried out
through lethal injection, but the sentence is likely to go through years of appeals.’

Tsarnaev is reported to want to be a martyr, something many of us find unbelievable. He seems therefore not to fear death, and indeed maybe he accepts death as the way to achieve recognition and honoured entrance to the after-life. He was calm and quiet during his trial, and accepting of the verdict. Regardless of his guilt or innocence he seems reconciled to death.

It maybe that Life imprisonment would be a worse punishment for him. Personally I do not believe that legal killing achieves anything. It is a form of revenge and does not undo the heinous act it is supposed to punish, and adds another death to the total.

Dr. Stephen Ray Odom, a trauma surgeon who treated Tsarnaev at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, described the accused terrorist’s injuries during a court proceeding at the hospital in April, three days after his arrest. The transcript of his testimony was ordered unsealed Monday.


“He has multiple gunshot wounds, the most severe of which appears to have entered through the left side inside of his mouth and exited the left face, lower face,” Odom said, according to the transcript.

“This was a high-powered injury that has resulted in skull-base fracture, with injuries to the middle ear, the skull base, the lateral portion of his C1 vertebrae, with a significant soft-tissue injury, as well as injury to the pharynx, the mouth, and a small vascular injury that’s been treated,” he said.

AFFIDAVIT OF MARET TSARNAEVA CONCERNING THE PROSECUTION OF DZHOKHAR TSARNAEV

Mindful that this affidavit may be filed or displayed as an offer of proof with her authorization in public proceedings contemplated by the laws of the United States of America, and in reliance upon Title 28 of the United States Code, Section 1746, Maret Tsarnaeva deposes and says:

I am the paternal aunt of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev who has been prosecuted before the United States District Court for Massachusetts upon indictment of a federal grand jury returned on June 27, 2013, for causing one of two explosions on Boylston Street in Boston on April 15, 2013. In the count for conspiracy, certain other overt acts of wrongdoing are mentioned. As I understand the indictment, if Dzhokhar did not carry and detonate an improvised explosive device or pressure-cooker bomb as alleged, all thirty counts fail, although perhaps some lingering questions, about which I offer no comment here, might remain for resolution, subject to guarantees of due process of law, within the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

I am currently living in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya which is a republic within the Russian Federation. My academic training included full-time studies in a five-year program of the Law Faculty at the Kyrgyz State University, and I also hold the degree of master of laws (LL. M.), with focus on securities laws, granted by the University of Manitoba while I lived in Canada. I am qualified to practice law in Kyrgyzstan. I am fluent in Russian, Chechen, and English, and am familiar with other languages. I am prepared to testify under oath in public proceedings in the United States, if my expenses are paid, and if my personal safety and right of return to my home in Chechnya are adequately assured in advance.

Aside from other anomalies and other aspects of the case on which I make no comment here, I am aware of several photo exhibits, upon which the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) relied, or of evidence which their crime laboratory has produced, and certain other reports or material. Together, these plainly show that Dzhokhar was not carrying a large, nylon, black backpack, including a white-rectangle marking at the top, and containing a heavy pressure- cooker bomb, shortly before explosions in Boston on April 15, 2013, as claimed by the FBI and as alleged in the indictment for both explosions. On the contrary, these photo exhibits show unmistakably that Dzhokhar was carrying over his right shoulder a primarily white backpack which was light in weight, and was not bulging or sagging as would have been evident if it contained a heavy pressure-cooker bomb. The only reasonable conclusion is that Dzhokhar was not responsible for either of the explosions in question.

On or about June 20-21, 2013, during their first trip to Russia, which lasted about ten days more or less, Judy Clarke and William Fick, lawyers from the federal public defender’s office in Boston, visited my brother Anzor Tsarnaev, and his wife Zubeidat, respectively the father and mother of Dzhokhar. The meeting was at the home of Dzhokhar’s parents in Makhachka which is in the republic of Dagestan adjacent to the republic of Chechnya, and about three hours’ drive from Grozny. My mother, my sister Malkan, and I were present at this meeting. Zubeidat speaks acceptable English. Mr. Fick is fluent in Russian.

Laying aside other details of the conversation on June 20-21, 2013, I wish to note the following:

— The lawyers from Boston strongly advised that Anzor and Zubeidat refrain from saying in public that Dzhokhar and his brother Tamerlan were not guilty. They warned that, if their advice were not followed, Dzhokhar’s life in custody near Boston would be more difficult;

— Mme Clarke and Mr. Fick also requested of Anzor and Zubeidat that they assist in influencing Dzhokhar to accept the legal representation of the federal public defender’s office in Boston. Mr. Fick revealed that Dzhokhar was refusing the services of the federal public defender’s office in Boston, and sending lawyers and staff away when they visited him in custody. In reaction to the suggestion of Mr. Fick, lively discussion followed;

— As Dzhokhar’s family, we expressed our concern that the federal public defender’s office in Boston was untrustworthy, and might not defend Dzhokhar properly, since they were paid by the government of the United States which was prosecuting him, as many believe for political reasons. Dzhokhar’s parents expressed willingness to engage independent counsel, since Dzhokhar did not trust his government-appointed lawyers. Mr. Fick reacted by saying that the government agents and lawyers would obstruct independent counsel;

— I proposed that Dzhokhar’s family hire independent counsel to work with the federal public defender’s office in order to assure proper and effective representation of Dzhokhar. Mr. Fick replied that, if independent counsel were hired by the family, the federal public defender’s office in Boston would withdraw;

— Mr. Fick then assured Anzor and Zubeidat that the United States Department of Justice had allotted $5 million to Dzhokhar’s defense, and that the federal public defender’s office in Boston intended to defend Dzhokhar properly. Zubeidat then and there said little concerning assurances of Mr. Fick. But for my part, I never believed that the federal public defender’s office in Boston ever intended to defend Dzhokhar as promised. And my impressions from what happened during the trial lead me to believe that the federal public defender’s office in Boston did not defend Dzhokhar competently and ethically.

In any event, I am aware that, following the meeting on June 20-21, 2013, Mme Clarke and Mr. Fick continued to spend time with Anzor and Zubeidat, and eventually persuaded Zubeidat to sign a typed letter in Russian to Dzhokhar, urging him to cooperate wholeheartedly with the federal public defender’s office in Boston. I am informed by my sister Malkan, that Zubeidat gave the letter to the public defenders, shortly before their departure from Russia on or about June 29, 2013, for delivery to Dzhokhar.

During subsequent trips Mme Clarke and Mr. Fick to see Dzhokhar’s parents in Makhachkala, the strategy for defending Dzhokhar was explained, as I learned from my sister Malkan. The public defender’s office in Boston intended to contend at trial, as actually has happened since, that Tamerlan, now deceased, was the mastermind of the crime, and that Dzhokhar was merely following his big brother. I was firmly opposed to this strategy as morally and legally wrong, because Dzhokhar is not guilty, as FBI-generated evidence shows. Some ill- feeling has since developed between myself and Dzhokhar’s parents over their acquiescence.

On or about June 19, 2014, during their visit to Grozny over nearly two weeks, three staff members from the public defender’s office in Boston visited my mother and sisters in Grozny. I am told that they also visited Dzhokhar’s parents in Makhachkala.

The personnel visiting my mother and sisters in Grozny on or about June 19, 2014, included one Charlene, who introduced herself as an independent investigator, working in and with the federal public defender’s office in Boston; another by the name of Jane, a social worker who claimed to have spoken with Dzhokhar; and a third, by the name of Olga, who was a Russian- English interpreter from New Jersey. They did not leave business cards, but stayed at the main hotel in Grozny, hence I presume that their surnames can be ascertained.

I was not present at the meeting in Grozny on or about June 19, 2014, but my sister Malkan, who was present, called me by telephone immediately after the meeting concluded. She revealed to me then the details of the conversation at the meeting. Malkan and I have since spoken about the visit on several occasions.

Malkan speaks Russian and Chechen and is willing to testify under oath in public proceedings in the United States through an interpreter in Russian, if her expenses are paid, and if her personal safety and right of return to her home in Chechnya are adequately assured in advance. She relates, and has authorized me to state for her that, during the conversation on June 19, 2014, in Grozny, Charlene the independent investigator stated flatly that the federal public defender’s office in Boston knew that Dzhokhar was not guilty as charged, and that their office was under enormous pressure from law enforcement agencies and high levels of the government of the United States not to resist conviction. [Remember what happened to Lynne Stewart, the federally appointed public defender who actually served her client. She was sentenced to prison.]

This affidavit is executed outside of the United States, but the foregoing account is true to the best of my knowledge, information, and belief, and subject to the pains and penalties of perjury under the laws of the United States of America.

I have spoken to Zubeidat Tsarnaeva a number of times on the phone, since the beginning of July, 2013. Zubeidat never informed me of these events but I can confirm that nothing Maret has stated conflicts with the content of my conversations with Zubeidat, regarding these matters.

'lone shooters' who do not commit suicide in or after their attacks . Some sort
of 'Justice ' must be seen to be done, and the sort of pressure put on his family
is probably common in theses cases.

If he was guilty fair enough , but in virtually all these case something does not
feel right about the reasons , motives and execution for the various attacks.

Yes and I don't buy that the defence attorneys did what they did because of pressure. I suspect they're as willing as the prosecution team. It's far more effective to make them (defendants and families) an offer they can't refuse while presenting themselves as an ally. Then they have compliant defendants to make an example of and pass laws, like the new gun laws the US is likely to see after they convict Tsarnaev for Collier's murder (why, he has been convicted of terrorism and sentenced to death?).

I, Tsarnaev Dzhamaly Maazovich, born in 1954 year in the town of Tokmak, Kyrgyzstan, and at the present time residing in Russia, being the citizen of the Russian Federation. I am the paternal uncle of Anzor Tsarnaev, the father of Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Anzor’s father, Zaindi Tsarnaev, now deceased, was my (first) cousin.

The verdict reached by the jury at the Boston court trial against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was unexpected for me and my relatives. From the first day we possess multiple facts of the absolute non-involvement of the Tsarnaev brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar, in the bombings at the Boston marathon.

For two years, starting from June 2013 to April 2015, me personally and members of my family, brother Said-Hussein, sisters Roza and Taus, as well as family members of Anzor Tsarnaev repeatedly talked at the meetings that took place during the visits of defense lawyers appointed by the USA government to protect the legal interests of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in criminal proceedings. The lawyers and their invited experts to this case, as they introduced themselves to us, had visited Grozny (Chechnya) and Makhachkala (Dagestan), at the least, fourteen times.

I had repeatedly personally met and talked with them. On some occasions, during the talks with lawyers and members of their team, I had participated together with Anzor and my other relatives. For two years, our meetings and the contents of conversations were, it seemed to me, of a strange nature. Representatives of the defense team for Dzhokhar were collecting information about everything: our way of life, our lives, the origin of the Tsarnaev family tree, where we work, what contacts we have. They were interested in everything, except the facts proving the innocence of the Tsarnaev brothers, to which we had unsuccessfully tried to draw the attention of defense, because we were openly ignored. Representatives of the defense team were confident in the innocence of the brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar; in particular, the lead defense lawyer Judy Clarke herself agreed, adding in the conversation, "we know it – they are innocent."

From the words of my brother, Said-Khussein Tsarnaev, I learned that on August 7, 2014 (it was their second visit to Grozny, the first visit took place in June 2014), at the meeting with representatives of the defense team, which took place at the hotel "Grozny – City", Charlene, who presented herself as an independent investigator involved in the case by Dzhokhar's lawyers; Jane, presented as a social worker and psychologist; and Olga (a translator from New Jersey, who arrived with the team), translating the conversation, openly admitted to my brother that they knew that Dzhokhar and Tamerlan were not guilty of the bombings, and with this they were apologizing that the Tsarnaevs have had to endure the tragedy involving criminal allegations.

My last personal conversation with the representative of Dzhokhar's lawyers team, Alicia, introduced to me as assistant to the state-appointed defense attorney, during which I had to speak through an interpreter named Elena, a Russian by birth and supposedly residing in the United States, took place on April 14, 2015, in Moscow.

The details of that meeting are as follows: on April 10, 2015, I was in the city of Orel, where I live with my wife and children, and Elena called me on behalf of Alicia and requested to come on April 13, 2015 to Moscow for a very serious conversation. The distance from Orel to Moscow is 420 kilometers (c. 260 miles), but considering that the conversation was promised to be "very serious", thereby suggesting that it may also be important for Dzhokhar, I took the journey to meet with Alicia on the specified date.

I had met with Alicia and Elena on April 14, 2015 at noon in the hall of the "Ararat – Hyatt" hotel. Later we moved to a cafe on the second floor. Our conversation lasted around 40 minutes. And suddenly Alicia said to me, "Dzhokhar's guilt has been proven by the prosecution in court, please convince Dzhokhar to take the blame for the bombings in the marathon so that he is not given the death penalty." I was shocked by her revelation and request and said, "what are you talking about, we and you both know that the boys are innocent and there is a lot of conclusive evidence of it, and representatives of the defense, who visited earlier in Dagestan and Chechnya, admitted to us that they had known themselves that Tamerlan and Dzhokhar were not involved in the Boston bombings." To this Alicia had stated, "If Dzhokhar does not accept the guilt and does not express remorse, then the court will issue him a death sentence, however Dzhokhar is insisting upon his own, that he is ready to die rather than allow for Tamerlan to be blamed for the bombings and to plead guilty for himself and his brother."

I knew from Dzhokhar's parents at the same time in March-April 2015 that Dzhokhar had told them that he was ready to die, however his mother, Zubeidat, presented this readiness to us in her own interpretation, as it sounded in her words "he is ready to die for the sake of Allah", hiding the true reason behind Dzhokhar's words, giving his words and actions some sign of religiosity.

Only after talking to Alicia it became perfectly clear to me why Dzhokhar says such words. I realized that, unfortunately, Dzhokhar's mother did not fully divulge what might be hidden behind the words of "Dzhokhar's readiness to die." Now I am convinced that Dzhokhar, knowing of his innocence in the bombings, having lost any hope for a fair trial, seeing inaction and complete lack of legal defense, insists upon his readiness to face a death sentence rather than accept the blame for the bombings, which neither he nor his brother had committed.

I asked Alicia to explain why the defense was not using in the court proceedings the commonly known facts of the non-involvement and innocence of the Tsarnaev brothers. I stated that it should be known to her that in the USA many innocent people were sentenced to life imprisonment and given the death penalty, who after 30 and 40 years had been exonerated from crimes and released free, and to avoid this happening to Dzhokhar, I called on her of the necessity to involve all potential witnesses, whom under various pretexts the FBI had isolated, so that they are not allowed to testify in favor of the defendant Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. At that same moment I had admitted to Alicia that we have collected many documents proving the complete innocence of Tamerlan and Dzhokhar and that we intended to present them to the court. Alicia asked if I could show her these documents. I categorically refused to show them, and said that I shall present them in the right place and at the right time. After this she asked, "How do you intend to bring them into the USA?" At that time, US visas were supposedly being arranged for the Tsarnaevs, including myself, in any case, Alicia on the previous visit in February 2015 had collected from us the information, passport details and photos of me and my sister, Roza Tsarnaeva. Later, Alicia repeatedly consulted with us, saying "you will be able to travel, your documents will soon be ready, do not refuse the trip." We did not intend to abandon the trip, as we were determined to take part in the trial by presenting the evidence of the brothers' innocence through Dzhokhar's lawyers.

After my conversation with Alicia held on April 14, 2015 in Moscow, the Tsarnaevs were refused entry visas to the United States for participation in the court trial. It is exactly for this reason that not a single representative of the Tsarnaev family had been present at the court trial in Boston.
