"When your excitement says yes and your ego says no then go with yes, because it's not about what will happen then, but about what will happen next."

Excitement wants to let go.

On a more serious note. What I have discovered is that there is a difference between reacting positively towards something that creates excitement, as oppose to proactively seeking excitement and then being focused on the goal beyond that. When you proactively seek excitement, then beyond the experience of that seems to come experiences that cause excitement. So it kind of develops into an excitement loop where you constantly move between proactive and reactive excitement experiences, it feels like the reality matches towards you, rather than you matching towards the reality.

You discover lots n lots of things if you're left yourself alone with yourself , for prolonged periods of time ..

;):flower:

The difference between life spent in hermit cell and life spent in prison cell , or a spaceship cabin for example , is ominous yet also , very subtle .

When I am happy I see how life and world are unique . When I am sad they look all the same .

In a way, that is what ego is....... solitary confinement.

The confinement can produce multiple voices in one.

If you can learn something , everyday , it's not your Ego doing that .

Your Self is mostly still .. it Knows or not , it too can be sad and happy . There's no use of starving your egos in solitary confinements .

The ego feeds off of solitary confinement, it has an assortment of ego type nourishments.

Ego is like the gang leader in prison, there is nothing it cannot obtain under the circumstances.

Interesting! In my view when it comes to excitement vs. ego, it's like the excitement desires yes - something positive, non-separating and other self gaining, while the ego desires no - something negative, separating and self gaining. Excitement brings exploration, ego brings judgment. Excitement leads to wider perspectives, ego leads to more narrow perspectives.

The ego is the producer of duality and thus 'yes' and 'no' come from the same root.

Yes?

No?
