For years Maharishi tried to get the governments everywhere to support A Group For A Government, but eventually concluded that collective consciousness was really the driving force behind government decisions. We would have to do it ourselves.

Ian Docker, a member of Maharishi’s Thousand Headed Purusha Programme since 1981, is a British Purusha with a big idea. He is looking to create a permanent group of 10,000 yogic flyers for Europe through business support.


British entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson, who built Virgin Airlines into a successful business, is interested in helping others with their big ideas and has set up a programme called "Virgin Media Business Pitch to Rich" for selecting deserving ideas to support. All sorts of proposals are invited, and Ian’s proposal has been nominated to the competition for support.

Ian is currently structuring a business plan to charge society a fee for generating the measurable economic and social benefits everyone will enjoy with a 10,000 group. This project, called The Quality of Life Project, will be making the TM-Sidhi and yogic flying programme a fully supported profession in life and a model for other countries.

The public votes on which ideas get supported. EVERY VOTE HELPS.

i think the www.EnjoyBliss.EU idea is great!

however ....

It is really interesting to go to the Virgin Media (http://www.virginmediabusiness.co.uk/pitch-to-rich/new-things/the-quality-of-life-project/) website and read the fine print. At face value, one thinks this is all about £1m prize money, for the winner & two runner up's with the best idea (voted by the public). However what is really going on is nothing more than shrewd corporate marketing!

When you read the fine print, here is what is being done: winner gets £50k and the two runners up get £10k (each) investment in their idea. This is all that is on the table to actually fund the idea. These amounts are "insignificant" (6%) compared to the total amount being punted around. The bulk of the "prize" money is for the marketing campaign, which they will run and manage.

If only corporations spoke honestly!

... what is actually going on is:
- i wonder how we can best use our marketing dept budget to get our brand out there this year
- hey .. let's launch a competition and the bulk of what the winner "gets" will be OUR Marketing budget, that we will use to promote OUR business (VirginMedia) CLOAKED behind a "good cause" or "winning idea"
- sounds like a good idea .. give Branson a call and get him lined up.

ps. in case you don't know, Branson has nothing to do with Virgin Media any more, he sold all his stock. It is now owned by an American company called Liberty Global. However, Richard still charges them a couple of million every year for use of the Virgin brand and what you are seeing, with this initiative, is nothing more than Liberty calling in the "goods" for the large amount they pay for the use of the Virgin brand.

Thanks for looking into the fine print Aurelius! It's a tricky business keeping on top of these things. Nonetheless still worth a vote. As far as I know its still open for voting. I tried after the 5th and it worked. Not aware of any free energy technology proposals in there. I think the important thing is that these technologies of consciousness are put out there in the mainstream and are absorbed as this phase transition occurs on a global scale. Richard Bransons name and and the Virgin company still have a lot of pull and if they pull these issues into the forefront I think we can all be happy.
