I do not understand why all the scenarios being espoused are based on war. I thought we were suppose to be out growing this so we could join other peaceful worlds. Are you sure that we are not being scammed into a cowboys and space aliens mind set so we are more accepting of the wars in the middle east and a perpetual war society?

peoples interest in space started as Star Trek , then became popular and they rolled out Star Wars ... total mind manipulation on a grand scale ... the ptb want the people of Earth to think - we cannot explore in peace , we must be at war with someone , even in space ... those in space cannot be traveling in peace , they must be looking for someone to conquer ... camel squeeze I say...

ghostrider, thank you. It seems as if there is a group of scifi gurus fanning the flames of an action flick. Are they just social engineers working for those who want perpetual war? Are people losing sight that this is the time to create the world as we want it to be? Are forum members getting into this space war stuff because it is even more stimulating than TV?

The entire genre of SciFi has been massively powerful in our society for at least 150 years - from Jules Verne, H.G Wells we were captured by the idea that there are other worlds, other sentient beings - good old 'H.G' put forward the concept of a war-like race watching the Earth with envy and desire (Mars of course is our God of war) and invade us to take the planet for their own. So it is certainly not a new idea - Star Trek was essentially 'Cops in Space', the Federation is an ideal modern bureaucracy with good intentions, but mighty weapons to impose the rules of 'civilization' - we are the 'good guys'. Klingons were depicted as ugly and war-like. According to astrophysicists & engineers who worked for the U.S.A secret programs, contact was made in the 1930's and we have been dealing with various races - a lady whose uncle passed away in 2010-he worked as an astro-engineer- revealed all kinds of juicy information regarding 'disclosure', he wanted to tell all but was constrained by heavy contracts and warnings of dire consequences. Col. Phillip Corso I think has the most fascinating story, and it is supported by people who are so credible, it just isn't funny.
